2 Kenan, Mahalaleel, Jered,
3 헤녹과 므두셀라와 라멕과
3 Henoch, Methuselah, Lamech,
4 노아와 솀과 함과 야펫이라.
4 Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
5 ¶ 야펫의 아들들은 고멜과 마곡과 마다이와 야완과 투발과 메셱과 티라스더라.
5 ¶ The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
6 그리고 고멜의 아들들은 아슈크나즈와 리팟과 토갈마더라.
6 And the sons of Gomer; Ashchenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
7 그리고 야완의 아들들은 엘리샤와 타르시시, 킷임과 도다님이더라.
7 And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
8 ¶ 함의 아들들은 쿠시와 미즈라임, 풋과 가나안이더라.
8 ¶ The sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9 그리고 쿠시의 아들들은 스바와 하윌라와 삽타와 라아마와 삽트카더라. 그리고 라아마의 아들들은 셰바와 드단이더라.
9 And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.
10 그리고 쿠시가 님롯을 낳았으니, 그가 땅 위에서 막강해지기 시작하였더라.
10 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth.
11 그리고 미즈라임이 루딤과 아나밈과 르하빔과 납투힘과
11 And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
12 파드루심과 카슬루힘과 캅도림을 낳았더라. (카슬루힘에게서 필리스티아인들이 나왔더라.)
12 And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,) and Caphthorim.
13 그리고 가나안은 그의 첫 태생 지돈과 헷을 낳았고,
13 And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,
14 또한 여부스족과 아모리족과 기르가시족과
14 The Jebusite also, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
15 히위족과 알카족과 신족과
15 And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
16 아르왓족과 즈말족과 하맛족을 낳았더라.
16 And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17 ¶ 솀의 아들들은 엘람과 앗슈르와 아르팍삿과 루드와 아람과 우즈와 헐과 그델과 메셱이더라.
17 ¶ The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18 그리고 아르팍삿은 셸라를 낳았고, 셸라는 에벨을 낳았더라.
18 And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.
19 그리고 에벨에게 두 아들들이 태어났더라. 하나의 이름은 펠렉이었으니, 그의 날들에 땅이 나뉘었던 까닭이라. 그리고 그의 형제의 이름은 욕탄이었더라.
19 And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan.
20 그리고 욕탄은 알모닷과 셸렙과 하잘마웻과 예라를 낳았더라.
20 And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
21 또한 하도람과 우잘과 디클라와
21 Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah,
22 에발과 아비마엘과 셰바와
22 And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
23 오필과 하윌라와 요밥을 낳았더라. 이들이 모두 욕탄의 아들들이었더라.
23 And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
24 ¶ 솀, 아르팍삿, 셸라,
24 ¶ Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,
25 에벨, 펠렉, 르우,
25 Eber, Peleg, Reu,
26 스룩, 나홀, 테라,
26 Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27 아브람이 있더라. 그는 바로 아브라함이라.
27 Abram; the same is Abraham.
28 아브라함의 아들들은 이삭과 이스마엘이더라.
28 The sons of Abraham; Isaac, and Ishmael.
29 ¶ 이들은 그들의 세대들이라. 이스마엘의 첫 태생인 느바이옷이요, 그다음은 케달과 앗브엘과 밉삼,
29 ¶ These are their generations: The firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
30 미슈마와 두마, 마사와 하닷과 테마,
30 Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
31 여툴과 나피시와 케드마더라. 이들이 이스마엘의 아들들이라.
31 Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.
32 ¶ 이제 아브라함의 첩인 크투라의 아들들이라. 그녀가 짐란과 욕샨과 므단과 미디안과 이슈박과 슈아흐를 낳았더라. 그리고 욕샨의 아들들은 셰바와 드단이더라.
32 ¶ Now the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan; Sheba, and Dedan.
33 그리고 미디안의 아들들은 에파와 에펠과 헤녹과 아비다와 엘다아더라. 이들이 모두 크투라의 아들들이라.
33 And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah.
34 그리고 아브라함이 이삭을 낳았더라. 이삭의 아들들은 에서와 이스라엘이더라.
34 And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac; Esau and Israel.
35 ¶ 에서의 아들들은 엘리파즈와 르우엘과 여우시요, 야알람과 코라더라.
35 ¶ The sons of Esau; Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.
36 엘리파즈의 아들들은 테만과 오말, 즈피와 가탐, 크나즈와 팀나와 아말렉이더라.
36 The sons of Eliphaz; Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37 르우엘의 아들들은 나핫과 제라와 샴마흐와 밋자더라.
37 The sons of Reuel; Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38 그리고 세일의 아들들은 로탄과 쇼발과 지브온과 아나와 디숀과 에젤과 디샨이더라.
38 And the sons of Seir; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39 그리고 로탄의 아들들은 호리와 호맘이요, 팀나는 로탄의 누이였더라.
39 And the sons of Lotan; Hori, and Homam: and Timna was Lotan's sister.
40 쇼발의 아들들은 알리안과 마나핫과 에발, 셰피와 오남이더라. 그리고 지브온의 아들들은 아야와 아나더라.
40 The sons of Shobal; Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon; Aiah, and Anah.
41 아나의 아들들은 디숀이더라. 그리고 디숀의 아들들은 암람과 에슈반과 이드란과 크란이더라.
41 The sons of Anah; Dishon. And the sons of Dishon; Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42 에젤의 아들들은 빌한과 자완과 야칸이더라. 디샨의 아들들은 우즈와 아란이더라.
42 The sons of Ezer; Bilhan, and Zavan, and Jakan. The sons of Dishan; Uz, and Aran.
43 ¶ 이제 이들은 그 어떤 왕도 이스라엘 자녀들을 치리하기 전에 에돔 지역에서 통치하던 왕들이라. 브올의 아들 벨라요, 그의 도시의 이름은 딘하바였더라.
43 ¶ Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
44 그리고 벨라가 죽었을 때 보즈라에서 온 제라의 아들 요밥이 그를 대신하여 통치하였더라.
44 And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
45 그리고 요밥이 죽었을 때 테만족들의 지역에서 온 후샴이 그를 대신하여 통치하였더라.
45 And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
46 그리고 후샴이 죽었을 때 모압의 들에서 미디안을 친 브닷의 아들 하닷이 그를 대신하여 통치하였더라. 그리고 그의 도시의 이름이 아윗이었더라.
46 And when Husham was dead, Hadad the son of Bedad, which smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.
47 그리고 하닷이 죽었을 때 마스레카의 삼라가 그를 대신하여 통치하였더라.
47 And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
48 그리고 삼라가 죽었을 때 강 옆에 있던 르호봇의 샤울이 그를 대신하여 통치하였더라.
48 And when Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.
49 그리고 샤울이 죽었을 때 악볼의 아들 바알하난이 그를 대신하여 통치하였더라.
49 And when Shaul was dead, Baalhanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
50 그리고 바알하난이 죽었을 때 하닷이 그를 대신하여 통치하였더라. 그리고 그의 도시의 이름은 파이였더라. 또 그의 아내의 이름은 므헤타벨이었으니, 메자합의 딸인 마트렛의 딸이더라.
50 And when Baalhanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
51 ¶ 또한 하닷이 죽었더라. 그리고 에돔의 족장들은 이러하였으니, 족장 팀나흐, 족장 알리야, 족장 여뎃,
51 ¶ Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timnah, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth,
52 족장 아홀리바마, 족장 엘라, 족장 피논,
52 Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
53 족장 크나즈, 족장 테만, 족장 밉잘,
53 Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
54 족장 막디엘, 족장 이람이었더라. 이들이 에돔의 족장들이라.
54 Duke Magdiel, duke Iram. These are the dukes of Edom.
