1 그런즉 주께서 다윗을 그의 모든 원수들의 손과 사울의 손에서 구출하신 날에 그가 이 노랫말들로 주께 고하였으니,
1 And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:
2 그가 이같이 말씀드렸더라. “주께서는 나의 반석이시요, 나의 견고한 요새시요, 나를 구출하시는 분이시니이다.
2 And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
3 내 반석의 하나님, 그분을 내가 신뢰하겠노라. 그분은 나의 방패시요, 나의 구원의 뿔이시요, 나의 높은 망대시요, 나의 피난처시요, 나의 구원자시라. 당신께서는 폭력에서 나를 구원하시나이다.
3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
4 찬송받기에 합당하신 주를 제가 부르겠나이다. 그렇게 하여 제가 저의 원수들로부터 구원받으리이다.
4 I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
5 죽음의 물결들이 저를 둘러싸고 불경건한 사람들의 홍수들이 저를 무섭게 할 때,
5 When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;
6 지옥의 슬픔들이 제 주위를 둘러쌌나이다. 죽음의 올무들이 저보다 앞서갔나이다.
6 The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;
7 내가 나의 괴로움 속에서 주를 불렀고 나의 하나님께 부르짖었도다. 그러자 그분께서 그분의 성전에서 나의 음성을 들으셨고 나의 부르짖음이 그분의 두 귀에 들어갔도다.
7 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.
8 그때 땅이 흔들리고 떨었도다. 하늘의 기초들이 움직이고 흔들렸으니, 그분께서 진노하셨기 때문이라.
8 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.
9 그분의 콧구멍에서 연기가 올라갔고 그분의 입에서 나온 불이 집어삼켰도다. 그것에 의하여 숯들에 불이 붙었도다.
9 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
10 그분께서 하늘들도 굽히시어 내려오셨도다. 그리고 어둠은 그분의 두 발 아래 있었도다.
10 He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet.
11 또 그분께서 그룹을 타고 나셨으니, 그분께서는 바람의 날개들 위에서 보이셨도다.
11 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.
12 그리고 그분께서 어둠을 그분 주위를 두른 막사들로 삼으셨으니, 어두운 물들과 창공들의 짙은 구름들도 그러하도다.
12 And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.
13 그분 앞에 있는 광채를 통하여 숯불들이 타올랐도다.
13 Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled.
14 주께서 하늘에서 천둥을 내리치셨고 지극히 높으신 분께서 그분의 음성을 발하셨도다.
14 The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.
15 그리고 그분께서 화살들을 내보내시어 그들을 흩으셨으니, 번개로 그들을 패주시키셨도다.
15 And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.
16 그러자 바다의 수로들이 나타났고, 세상의 기초들이 드러났으니, 주의 꾸짖으심에, 그분의 콧구멍의 호흡에서 나오는 강풍에 그리되었도다.
16 And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
17 그분께서 위로부터 보내셨고 그분께서 나를 붙잡아 주셨도다. 그분께서 나를 많은 물들에서 끄집어내셨도다.
17 He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;
18 그분께서는 나의 강한 원수로부터, 나를 증오하는 자들로부터 나를 구출하셨도다. 이는 그들이 나에게 너무 강하였기 때문이라.
18 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.
19 그들이 나의 재난의 날에 나보다 앞서갔도다. 그러나 주께서 나의 버팀목이 되셨도다.
19 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.
20 그분께서 또한 나를 한 넓은 곳 안으로 데리고 나오셨도다. 그분께서 나를 크게 즐거워하셨으므로 친히 나를 구출하셨도다.
20 He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
21 주께서 나의 의에 따라 나에게 보상하셨도다. 나의 두 손의 정결함에 따라 그분께서 나에게 갚아 주셨도다.
21 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
22 이는 내가 주의 길들을 지켰기 때문이요, 사악하게 나의 하나님으로부터 떠나지 아니하였기 때문이라.
22 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
23 이는 그분의 모든 공의로운 법규들이 나의 앞에 있었기 때문이라. 그리고 그분의 규례들로 말하자면, 내가 그것들로부터 떠나지 아니하였도다.
23 For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart from them.
24 나는 또한 그분 앞에서 올발랐고 나 자신을 나의 죄악으로부터 지켰도다.
24 I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity.
25 그러므로 주께서 나의 의에 따라 나에게 갚아 주셨으니, 그분의 목전에 있는 나의 정결함에 따른 것이라.
25 Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight.
26 자비로운 자에게는 당신께서 자신의 자비로우심을 보이실 것이요, 올바른 사람에게는 당신께서 자신의 올바르심을 보이실 것이요,
26 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, and with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.
27 순수한 자에게는 당신께서 자신의 순수하심을 보이실 것이요, 왜곡된 자에게는 당신께서 자신의 불쾌함을 보이시리이다.
27 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury.
28 또 당신께서 고난받는 백성을 구원하실 것이니이다. 그러나 당신의 눈들은 거만한 자들 위에 있으시니, 당신께서 그들을 낮추려 하심이니이다.
28 And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down.
29 오, 주여, 당신께서는 저의 등불이시니, 주께서 제 어둠을 밝히시리이다.
29 For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.
30 이는 제가 당신으로 말미암아 군부대를 가로질러 달렸고, 나의 하나님으로 말미암아 제가 성벽을 뛰어넘었기 때문이니이다.
30 For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
31 하나님으로 말하자면 그분의 길은 완전하도다. 주의 말씀은 정련되었도다. 그분께서는 자신을 신뢰하는 모든 자들에게 방어막이 되시는도다.
31 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
32 그런즉 주 외에 누가 하나님이랴? 또 우리 하나님 외에 누가 반석이랴?
32 For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?
33 하나님께서는 나의 힘과 권능이시라. 또 그분께서 나의 길을 완전하게 하시는도다.
33 God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.
34 그분께서 나의 두 발을 암사슴들의 발 같게 하시며, 나의 높은 곳들 위에 나를 세우시는도다.
34 He maketh my feet like hinds' feet: and setteth me upon my high places.
35 그분께서 나의 두 손을 가르쳐 전쟁하게 하시기에 나의 두 팔에 의하여 강철로 된 활이 부러지는도다.
35 He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
36 당신께서는 또한 당신의 구원의 방패를 제게 주셨나이다. 그리고 당신의 온화하심이 저를 위대하게 하셨나이다.
36 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
37 당신께서 제 밑에 있는 저의 발걸음들을 넓히셨나이다. 그렇게 하여 저의 두 발이 미끄러지지 아니하였나이다.
37 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.
38 제가 저의 원수들을 추격하여 그들을 멸하였나이다. 그리고 저는 그들을 진멸시킬 때까지 다시 돌아가지 아니하였나이다.
38 I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.
39 그리고 제가 그들을 진멸시키고 그들에게 부상을 입혔더니, 그들이 일어날 수 없었나이다. 진정, 그들이 저의 두 발 밑에 쓰러졌나이다.
39 And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet.
40 이는 당신께서 저에게 전투를 치르도록 힘으로 띠를 둘러 주셨기 때문이니이다. 저를 대적하여 들고일어난 자들을 당신께서 제 아래에 굴복시키셨나이다.
40 For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.
41 당신께서 저의 원수들의 목도 제게 주셨으니, 제가 저를 증오하는 자들을 멸하게 하셨나이다.
41 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.
42 그들이 바라보았으나 구원해 줄 자가 전혀 없었도다. 그들이 심지어 주를 바라보았으나 그분께서 그들에게 응답하지 아니하셨도다.
42 They looked, but there was none to save; even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
43 그때 내가 그들을 땅의 티끌처럼 잘게 부수었으니, 내가 그들을 거리의 진창같이 발로 으깨서 그들을 널리 퍼뜨렸도다.
43 Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, and did spread them abroad.
44 당신께서 또한 저의 백성의 분쟁들에서 저를 구출하셨나이다. 당신께서 저를 이방 민족들의 머리가 되도록 지켜 주셨나이다. 제가 모르는 백성이 저를 섬기리이다.
44 Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me to be head of the heathen: a people which I knew not shall serve me.
45 타국인들이 나에게 스스로 복종하리로다. 그들이 듣자마자 그들은 나에게 순종하리로다.
45 Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me.
46 타국인들이 사라져 갈 것이요, 그들은 자신들의 폐쇄된 처소들에서 나와 무서워하리라.
46 Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places.
47 주께서 살아 계시니, 나의 반석께서 찬양받으시기를 바라노라. 그리고 나의 구원의 반석이신 하나님께서 크게 높임 받으시기를 바라노라.
47 The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.
48 나의 복수를 해 주시는 분은 하나님이시요, 백성을 내 밑으로 데려오시는 분은 그분이시요,
48 It is God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,
49 나의 원수들로부터 나를 데리고 나오시는 분은 그분이시로다. 당신께서는 또한 저를 대적하여 들고일어난 자들 위에 저를 높이 들어 올리셨나이다. 당신께서 저를 그 난폭한 사람으로부터 구출하셨나이다.
49 And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
50 그러므로 오, 주여, 제가 이방 민족들 가운데서 당신께 감사들을 드리겠사오며, 제가 찬송들로 당신의 이름을 노래하겠나이다.
50 Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.
51 그분께서는 그분의 왕을 위한 구원의 망대시요, 그분의 기름 부음 받은 자에게, 곧 다윗과 그의 씨에게 영원히 자비를 보이시는도다.”
51 He is the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.
