1 그러고 나서 그분께서 나에게 주의 천사 앞에 서 있는 대제사장 여호수아와, 그를 저항하려고 그의 오른편에 선 사탄을 보여 주셨더라.

1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.

2 그러자 주께서 사탄에게 말씀하시기를, “오, 사탄아, 주께서 너를 꾸짖으시기를 바라노라. 곧, 예루살렘을 선택하신 주께서 너를 꾸짖으시기를 바라노라. 이 자는 불에서 끄집어낸 나뭇조각이 아니냐?” 하셨느니라.

2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

3 이때 여호수아는 더러운 의복들로 옷 입혀진 채 그 천사 앞에 서 있었더라.

3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.

4 그러자 그분께서 자기 앞에 서 있던 자들에게 응답하며 일러 말씀하시기를, “그에게서 그 더러운 의복들을 벗겨내라.” 하셨느니라. 그런 다음에 그분께서 그에게 말씀하시기를, “보라, 내가 너의 죄악이 너에게서 옮겨지게 하였으니, 내가 너에게 갈아입을 의복을 입히겠노라.” 하셨느니라.

4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.

5 이에 내가 말씀드리기를, “그들로 하여금 그의 머리 위에 수려한 예관을 씌우게 하소서.” 하였더라. 그렇게 하여 그들이 그의 머리 위에 수려한 예관을 씌웠고 그를 의복들로 옷 입혔더라. 그리고 주의 천사는 곁에 서 계셨더라.

5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.

6 그때 주의 천사가 여호수아에게 역설하며 이같이 말하였더라.

6 And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,

7 “만군의 주가 이같이 말하노라. 만일 네가 나의 길들 가운데서 살아가고, 만일 네가 나의 책무를 지킨다면 그때 너는 또한 나의 집을 심판할 것이요, 또한 나의 뜰들을 지키리니, 내가 너에게 처소들을 주어, 곁에 서 있는 이들 사이에서 거닐도록 하겠노라.

7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.

8 오, 대제사장 여호수아야, 너와 너의 앞에 앉아 있는 너의 동료들은 이제 들으라. 이는 그들이 경이롭게 여겨지는 사람들이기 때문이라. 이는 보라, 내가 나의 종인 가지를 낼 것이기 때문이라.

8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.

9 이는 내가 여호수아 앞에 놓은 돌을 보기 때문이라. 하나의 돌 위에 일곱 눈들이 있으리라. 보라, 내가 거기에 각문을 새기겠노라. 만군의 주가 말하노라. 그런 다음에 내가 그 지역의 죄악을 하루 만에 제거하겠노라.

9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

10 만군의 주가 말하노라. 그날에 너희는 모든 사람마다 포도나무와 무화과나무 아래로 자기 이웃을 부르리라.”

10 In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.
