1 그런 다음에 내가 돌이켰고 나의 두 눈을 들어 바라보았더니, 보라, 두 산들 사이에서 네 대의 병거들이 나왔는데 그 산들은 놋 산들이었더라.
1 And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.
2 첫 번째 병거에는 붉은색 말들이 있었더라. 그리고 두 번째 병거에는 검은색 말들이 있었더라.
2 In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;
3 그리고 세 번째 병거에는 흰색 말들이 있었더라. 그리고 네 번째 병거에는 회색과 적갈색인 말들이 있었더라.
3 And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses.
4 그때 내가 나와 대화하던 천사에게 대답하여 말하기를, “나의 주여, 이것들은 무엇이니이까?” 하였더라.
4 Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?
5 그러자 그 천사가 나에게 대답하여 말하기를, “이것들은 하늘들에 속한 영들 넷인데 그 영들이 온 땅의 주 앞에 서 있는 자리에서 나아가느니라.” 하였더라.
5 And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.
6 그 안에 있는 검은 말들은 북쪽 지방으로 나아가고, 흰 말들은 검은 말들을 뒤따라 나아가며 회색 말들은 남쪽 지방으로 나아가니라.
6 The black horses which are therein go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth toward the south country.
7 그리고 적갈색 말들이 나아갔으니, 그것들이 땅을 이리저리 두루 다니기 위해 가려고 하였더라. 그러자 그가 말하기를, “너희는 여기서 나가 땅을 이리저리 두루 다니라.” 하였더라. 그렇게 하여 그것들이 땅을 이리저리 두루 다녔더라.
7 And the bay went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth.
8 그때 그가 내 위에서 외치셨고 나에게 일러 말씀하시기를, “보라, 북쪽 지방으로 향해 가는 이것들이 북쪽 지방에서 나의 영을 진정시켰느니라.” 하였더라.
8 Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.
9 ¶ 그리고 주의 말씀이 나에게 임하였으니 이같이 말씀하셨느니라.
9 ¶ And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
10 “포로들에 속한 자들 중 바빌론에서부터 돌아온 자들, 곧 헬다이와 토비쟈와 여다야에게서 은과 금을 취하여 너는 같은 날에 오라. 그런 다음에 스바냐의 아들 요시야의 집 안으로 들어가라.
10 Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah, which are come from Babylon, and come thou the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah;
11 그때 은과 금을 취하여 왕관들을 만들라. 그리고 대제사장인, 요세덱의 아들 여호수아의 머리 위에 그것들을 씌우라.
11 Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest;
12 그리고 그에게 이같이 일러 말하라. ‘만군의 주가 이같이 일러 말하노라. 그의 이름이 가지인 사람을 보라. 그런즉 그가 자기 처소에서 나와 자라나리니, 그가 주의 성전을 건축하리라.
12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:
13 바로 그가 주의 성전을 건축하리라. 그리하여 그가 영광을 지닐 것이요, 그의 보좌 위에 앉아서 다스리리라. 그리고 그가 자기 보좌 위에 제사장으로 있으리라. 그리고 그들 양측 사이에 화평의 의논이 있으리라.
13 Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
14 그리하여 헬렘과 토비쟈와 여다야와 스바냐의 아들 헨에게 왕관들이 주의 성전 안에서 기념이 되리라.
14 And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of the LORD.
15 또한 멀리 떨어져 있는 자들이 와서 주의 성전 안에서 건축하리라. 그리하면 너희는 만군의 주께서 나를 너희에게 보내셨다는 것을 알게 되리라. 그런즉 만일 너희가 주 너희 하나님의 음성에 부지런히 순종한다면 이 일이 이루어지리라.’”
15 And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of the LORD, and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.
