1 그때 내가 돌이켜 나의 두 눈을 들어 바라보았더니, 날아가는 두루마리 하나를 보니라.
1 Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.
2 그러자 그가 나에게 말하기를, “네가 무엇을 보느냐?” 하였더라. 이에 내가 대답하기를, “제가 날아가는 두루마리 하나를 보는데 그것의 길이가 이십 큐빗이요, 그것의 너비가 십 큐빗이니이다.” 하였더라.
2 And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.
3 그때 그가 나에게 이같이 말하였더라. “이것은 온 땅의 표면 위로 나아가는 저주니라. 이는 도둑질하는 모든 자마다 그것에 따라 이편에 기록된 대로 끊어질 것이요, 맹세하는 모든 자마다 그것에 따라 저편에 기록된 대로 끊어지리라.
3 Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it.
4 만군의 주가 말하노라. 내가 그 저주를 방출하겠으니, 그것이 그 도둑의 집 안으로 들어갈 것이요, 나의 이름을 두고 거짓되이 맹세하는 자의 집 안으로도 들어갈 것이라. 그리하면 그 저주는 그의 집 한가운데 남을 것이요, 그 집을 그곳의 재목과 그곳의 돌들과 더불어 소멸시키리라.”
4 I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.
5 ¶ 그때 나와 대화하던 천사가 밖으로 나가서 나에게 말하기를, “이제 너의 두 눈을 들어, 나아가는 이것이 무엇인지 보라.” 하였더라.
5 ¶ Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.
6 그런즉 내가 말하기를, “그것이 무엇이니이까?” 하였더니, 그가 말하기를, “이것은 나아가는 한 에파니라.” 하였더라. 이와 더불어 그가 말하기를, “이것은 온 땅에 걸친 그것들과 닮은 모양이니라.” 하였더라.
6 And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.
7 그런데, 보라, 납 일 달란트가 위로 들렸는데, 이것은 그 에파의 중심부에 앉아 있는 한 여자라.
7 And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.
8 그러자 그가 말하기를, “이것은 사악함이라.” 하였더라. 그러면서 그가 그것을 에파의 중심부에 던졌더라. 그리고 그가 그 납덩어리를 에파의 어귀 위로 던졌더라.
8 And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.
9 그때 내가 나의 두 눈을 들어 바라보았더니, 보라, 두 여자들이 거기서 나오는데 그들의 날개들 안에는 바람이 있었더라. 이는 그들이 황새의 날개들 같은 날개들을 가지고 있었기 때문이라. 그리고 그들이 땅과 하늘 사이로 그 에파를 들어 올렸더라.
9 Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.
10 그때 내가 나와 대화하던 천사에게 말하기를, “이들이 에파를 어디로 나르나이까?” 하였더라.
10 Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah?
11 그러자 그가 나에게 말하기를, “그것을 위하여 시날 지역에 한 집을 건축하고자 하느니라. 그리하여 그것이 확고히 세워지리니, 거기서 그녀 자신의 근거지 위에 위치하게 되리라.” 하였더라.
11 And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.
