1 므낫세가 통치하기 시작할 때 그는 십이 세였으며, 예루살렘에서 오십오 년 동안 통치하였더라. 그리고 그의 어머니의 이름은 헵지바였더라.
1 Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hephzibah.
2 그리고 그는 주께서 이스라엘 자녀들 앞에서 쫓아내신 이교도들의 가증함들을 따라 주의 목전에 악한 것을 행하였더라.
2 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
3 이는 그가 자신의 아버지 히스키야가 앞서 파괴시킨 높은 처소들을 다시 지어 올렸기 때문이라. 그리고 그가 이스라엘 왕 아합이 행한 대로 바알의 제단들을 건립하고 작은 수풀을 조성하였으며 하늘의 모든 군대를 경배하고 그것들을 섬겼더라.
3 For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
4 그리고 그가 주의 집 안에 제단들을 쌓았으니, 그곳은 주께서 말씀하시기를, “내가 나의 이름을 예루살렘 안에 두겠노라.” 하신 곳이라.
4 And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.
5 그리고 그가 주의 집의 두 뜰들 안에 하늘의 모든 군대를 위하여 제단들을 쌓았더라.
5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.
6 그리고 그는 그의 아들로 하여금 불을 통과하게 하였고 점을 보았으며 마력들을 사용하였고 부리는 영들과 요술사들과 관계하였더라. 그가 주의 목전에 사악한 일을 많이 행하였고 그분께 분노를 일으켰더라.
6 And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
7 그리고 그는 자신이 작은 수풀로 만든 조각된 형상 하나를 그 집 안에다 세웠으니, 그곳에 관하여 주께서 다윗에게, 또 그의 아들 솔로몬에게 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “내가 이스라엘의 모든 지파들에서 선택한 이 집과 예루살렘에 내가 나의 이름을 영원토록 두겠노라.
7 And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
8 또한 나는 내가 그들의 조상들에게 준 지역에서 이스라엘의 발들을 더 이상 옮기지 아니하겠노라. 단, 만일 그들이 내가 그들에게 명령한 모든 것에 따라, 나의 종 모세가 그들에게 명령한 모든 율법에 따라 준수하여 행할 경우에만 그리하겠노라.”
8 Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
9 그러나 그들은 경청하지 아니하였더라. 그리고 므낫세는 그들을 미혹하였으니, 주께서 이스라엘 자녀들 앞에서 멸하신 민족들이 행한 것보다 악을 더 행하도록 하였더라.
9 But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.
10 ¶ 그리고 주께서 예언자들인 그분의 종들을 통하여 이같이 일러 말씀하셨느니라.
10 ¶ And the LORD spake by his servants the prophets, saying,
11 “이는 유다 왕 므낫세가 이 가증함들을 행하였고 그의 앞에 있었던 아모리족들이 행한 모든 것 이상으로 사악하게 행하였으며 그의 우상들로 유다도 죄짓게 만든 까닭이라.
11 Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:
12 그러므로 이스라엘의 주 하나님께서 이같이 말하노라. ‘보라, 나는 예루살렘과 유다 위에도 그러한 해악을 가져오고 있느니라. 이로써 누구든지 그것을 듣는 자는 그의 두 귀가 모두 얼얼하리라.
12 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.
13 그런즉 내가 사마리아의 측량줄과 아합 집의 다림추를 예루살렘 위에서 펴겠노라. 그런즉 마치 사람이 접시 하나를 닦는 것같이 내가 예루살렘을 닦되, 그것을 닦고, 그것을 거꾸로 뒤집어 놓겠노라.
13 And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.
14 그리고 내가 나의 유산에서 남은 자들을 저버리고 그들을 그들의 원수들의 손안에 넘기겠노라. 그리하면 그들이 그들의 모든 원수들에게 먹이와 약탈물이 되리라.
14 And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;
15 이는 그들이 나의 목전에 악한 것을 행하고 나에게 분노를 일으켰기 때문이니, 그들의 조상들이 이집트에서 나온 이래로 심지어 오늘날까지 그러하니라.’”
15 Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.
16 이뿐만 아니라 므낫세는 주의 목전에 악한 것을 행함으로써 친히 유다를 죄짓게 만든 그의 죄 이외에도 그가 예루살렘을 한쪽 끝에서부터 다른 쪽 끝까지 피로 채우기까지 무고한 피를 아주 많이 흘렸더라.
16 Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.
17 ¶ 이제 므낫세의 행적들 중 나머지와 그가 행한 모든 것과 그가 지은 그의 죄, 그것들이 유다 왕들의 연대기들의 책 안에 기록되어 있지 아니하냐?
17 ¶ Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
18 그리고 므낫세가 자기 조상들과 함께 잠들었고 자기 자신의 집에 있는 정원 안에, 곧 웃사의 정원 안에 장사되었더라. 그리고 그의 아들 아몬이 그를 대신하여 통치하였더라.
18 And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
19 ¶ 아몬이 통치하기 시작하였을 때 그가 이십이 세였으며, 그가 예루살렘에서 이 년 동안 통치하였더라. 그리고 그의 어머니의 이름은 므슐레멧으로, 욧바 출신 하루즈의 딸이었더라.
19 ¶ Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.
20 그리고 그는 그의 아버지 므낫세가 행한 대로 주의 목전에 악한 것을 행하였더라.
20 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.
21 그리고 그는 자기 아버지가 그 가운데 살아갔던 모든 길 가운데 살아갔고, 그의 아버지가 섬긴 우상들을 섬기며 그들을 경배하였더라.
21 And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:
22 그리고 그가 자기 조상들의 주 하나님을 저버리고 주의 길 가운데서 살아가지 아니하였더라.
22 And he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.
23 ¶ 그리고 아몬의 종들이 그를 대적하여 모반하였고 그의 자신의 집 안에서 왕을 살해하였더라.
23 ¶ And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.
24 그리고 그 지역의 백성이 아몬왕을 대적하여 모반한 모든 자들을 살해하였더라. 그리고 그 지역의 백성이 그의 아들 요시야를 그를 대신하는 왕으로 삼았더라.
24 And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
25 이제 아몬이 행한 그의 행적들 중 나머지, 그것들이 유다 왕들의 연대기들의 책 안에 기록되어 있지 아니하냐?
25 Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
26 이후에 그가 웃사의 정원 안에 있는 그의 돌무덤 안에 장사되었더라. 그리고 그의 아들 요시야가 그를 대신하여 통치하였더라.
26 And he was buried in his sepulchre in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his stead.
