1 그 주의 첫날에 막달라인 마리아가 일찍 그 돌무덤으로 오니, 아직 어둑하였을 때라. 그러고는 그 돌무덤에서 그 돌이 치워진 것을 보니라.
1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
2 그때 그녀가 달려가서 시몬 베드로와 예수님께서 사랑하신 다른 제자에게 이르니라. 그러고는 그들에게 말하기를, “그들이 주를 그 돌무덤에서 가져가 버렸는데 우리는 그들이 그분을 어디에 뉘였는지 모르나이다.” 하니라.
2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
3 그러므로 베드로가 밖으로 나갔고 그 다른 제자도 나가서 그 돌무덤으로 왔더라.
3 Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.
4 그렇게 하여 그들이 다 함께 달려갔더라. 그런데 베드로보다 다른 제자가 앞질러 달려갔으며 먼저 그 돌무덤에 도달하였더라.
4 So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.
5 그리고 그가 몸을 굽혀 안을 들여다보며 아마천들이 놓여 있는 것을 목격하였더라. 그럼에도 그가 안으로 들어가지는 아니하였더라.
5 And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.
6 그때 그를 따라온 시몬 베드로가 도착하니라. 그러고는 그 돌무덤 안으로 가서 아마천들이 놓여 있는 것을 목격하니라.
6 Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,
7 그리고 그분의 머리를 둘렀던 작은 수건은 아마천들과 함께 놓여 있지 아니하고 다만 한곳에 그것만 함께 개어져 있었더라.
7 And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.
8 그때 그 돌무덤에 먼저 왔던 그 다른 제자도 들어갔으니, 그가 보고 믿었더라.
8 Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.
9 이는 “그가 반드시 죽은 자들로부터 다시 살아나야만 하리라.” 한 성경 기록을 그들이 아직 몰랐기 때문이더라.
9 For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
10 그때 그 제자들이 다시 그들 자신들의 집으로 떠나갔더라.
10 Then the disciples went away again unto their own home.
11 ¶ 그러나 마리아는 그 돌무덤 바깥에 울며 서 있었더라. 그리고 그녀가 우는 동안 그녀는 몸을 굽혀서 그 돌무덤 안을 들여다보았는데,
11 ¶ But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,
12 흰옷을 입은 채 앉아 있는 두 천사를 목격하였으니, 예수님의 시신을 뉘였던 곳의 머리 쪽에 한 명이 있었고, 두 발 쪽에 다른 한 명이 있었더라.
12 And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
13 그리고 그들이 그녀에게 말하기를, “여자여, 어찌하여 네가 우느냐?” 하니라. 그녀가 그들에게 말하기를, “그들이 나의 주를 가져가 버린 까닭에 그들이 그분을 어디에 뉘였는지 제가 모르나이다.” 하니라.
13 And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.
14 그러고 나서 그녀가 이같이 말한 후에 그녀는 자신의 몸을 뒤로 돌렸는데 예수님께서 서 계신 것을 보았더라. 그런데 그분이 예수님이신 것을 몰랐더라.
14 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.
15 예수님께서 그녀에게 말씀하시기를, “여자여, 네가 어찌하여 우느냐? 네가 누구를 찾느냐?” 하시니라. 그분을 동산지기라고 추정한 그녀가 그분께 말씀드리기를, “선생님, 만일 당신께서 여기에서 그분을 가져가셨다면 당신께서 그분을 어디에 뉘였는지 제게 알려 주소서. 그리하면 제가 그분을 모셔 가겠나이다.” 하니라.
15 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.
16 예수님께서 그녀에게 말씀하시기를, “마리아야.” 하시니라. 그녀가 자신의 몸을 돌이켜서 그분께 말씀드리기를, “랍보니.” 하니라. 그것은 “스승님”이라고 말하는 것이라.
16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
17 예수님께서 그녀에게 말씀하시기를, “나를 만지지 말라. 이는 내가 아직 나의 아버지께 올라가지 아니하였기 때문이라. 그러나 나의 형제들에게 가서 그들에게 ‘내가 나의 아버지이신 너희 아버지께로, 또 나의 하나님이신 너희 하나님께로 올라가노라.’ 하고 말하라.” 하시니라.
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
18 막달라인 마리아가 와서 제자들에게 알렸으니, 곧 그녀가 주를 목격한 것과, 그분께서 그녀에게 이런 것들을 말씀하셨다는 것이더라.
18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
19 ¶ 같은 날 저녁, 그 주의 첫날인 그때, 곧 유대인들에 대한 두려움으로 인하여 제자들이 결집한 곳에 문들이 닫혀 있었을 때, 예수님께서 오셔서 한가운데 서셨으며 그들에게 말씀하시기를, “평안이 너희에게 있기를 기원하노라.” 하시니라.
19 ¶ Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
20 그러자 그분께서 그렇게 말씀하셨을 때 친히 그들에게 자신의 두 손과 자신의 옆구리를 보이셨더라. 그때 제자들이 주를 보자 그들이 반가워하였더라.
20 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.
21 그때 예수님께서 그들에게 다시금 말씀하시기를, “평안이 너희에게 있기를 기원하노라. 나의 아버지께서 나를 보내신 것같이 나도 바로 그렇게 너희를 보내노라.” 하셨느니라.
21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
22 그리고 그분께서 이것을 말씀하신 후에 친히 그들에게 숨을 내쉬셨으며 그들에게 이같이 말씀하시니라. “너희는 성령을 받으라.
22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
23 누구의 죄들이든지 너희가 사하면, 그것들이 그들에게 사하여지리라. 그리고 누구의 죄들이든지 너희가 그대로 두면 그것들이 그대로 있게 되리라.”
23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
24 ¶ 그러나 디두무스라 불리는 열둘 중 한 명인 도마는 예수님께서 오셨을 때 그들과 함께 있지 아니하였더라.
24 ¶ But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
25 그러므로 다른 제자들이 그에게 말하기를, “우리가 주를 보았도다.” 하였으나 그가 그들에게 말하기를, “내가 그분의 두 손에 있는 못 자국을 보고, 나의 손가락을 못 자국 안에 넣으며, 나의 손을 그분의 옆구리 속에 찔러 넣지 아니하고는 내가 믿지 않겠노라.” 하였더라.
25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
26 ¶ 그러고 나서 팔 일 뒤에 다시금 그분의 제자들이 안에 있었는데 도마도 그들과 함께 있었더라. 그때 예수님께서 문들이 닫혀 있는 중에도 오셔서 한가운데 서시어 말씀하시기를, “평안이 너희에게 있기를 기원하노라.” 하셨느니라.
26 ¶ And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
27 그때 그분께서 도마에게 말씀하시기를, “여기에 너의 손가락을 앞으로 내밀고 나의 두 손을 보라. 그리고 여기에 너의 손을 앞으로 내밀어 그것을 나의 옆구리 속에 찔러 넣으라. 그리하여 믿음 없는 자가 되지 말고 오직 믿는 자가 되라.” 하시니라.
27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28 이에 도마가 그분께 대답하여 말씀드리기를, “나의 주, 곧 나의 하나님이여.” 하였더라.
28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
29 예수님께서 그에게 말씀하시기를, “도마야, 네가 나를 보았으므로 네가 믿었도다. 보지 않았음에도 믿은 자들은 복되도다.” 하시니라.
29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
30 ¶ 그리고 진실로 예수님께서는 이 책에 기록되지 아니한 다른 많은 표적들을 그분의 제자들의 면전에서 행하셨더라.
30 ¶ And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
31 그러나 이것들이 기록된 것은 너희로 하여금 예수님께서 그리스도이시며 하나님의 아들이심을 믿게 하려 함이요, 너희가 믿음으로써 그분의 이름을 통하여 생명을 얻게 하려 함이라.
31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
