1 이후에 그들이 이집트 지역에서 나온 뒤 둘째 해의 첫째 달에 주께서 시나이 광야 가운데서 모세에게 이같이 일러 말씀하셨느니라.
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
2 “또한 이스라엘 자녀들로 하여금 유월절을 정해진 그의 시기에 지키게 하라.
2 Let the children of Israel also keep the passover at his appointed season.
3 너희는 유월절을 정해진 그의 시기에, 곧 이번 달 십사 일 저녁때에 지킬지니라. 그것의 모든 법식들에 따라, 또 그것의 모든 의식들을 따라 너희는 그것을 지킬지니라.”
3 In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall keep it in his appointed season: according to all the rites of it, and according to all the ceremonies thereof, shall ye keep it.
4 그런즉 모세가 이스라엘 자녀들에게 일러 그들이 유월절을 지켜야 한다고 하였더라.
4 And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, that they should keep the passover.
5 그리하여 그들이 첫째 달 십사 일 저녁때에 시나이 광야 가운데서 유월절을 지켰더라. 주께서 모세에게 명령하신 모든 것에 따라 이스라엘 자녀들이 그렇게 행하였더라.
5 And they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month at even in the wilderness of Sinai: according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel.
6 ¶ 그런데 사람의 죽은 시신에 의하여 더럽혀진 어떤 남자들이 있었으니, 그들은 그날에 유월절을 지킬 수 없었더라. 그리하여 그들이 그날에 모세 앞과 아론 앞에 왔더라.
6 ¶ And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on that day: and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day:
7 그러면서 그 남자들이 그에게 말하기를, “우리가 사람의 죽은 시신에 의하여 더럽혀졌나이다. 어찌 우리가 저지당하여 이스라엘 자녀들 가운데 정해진 그분의 시기에 우리가 주의 제물을 바치지 못하게 되어야 하나이까?” 하였더라.
7 And those men said unto him, We are defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the children of Israel?
8 이에 모세가 그들에게 말하기를, “가만히 서 있으라. 그리하면 주께서 너희에 관하여 무엇을 명령하실지 내가 듣겠노라.” 하였더라.
8 And Moses said unto them, Stand still, and I will hear what the LORD will command concerning you.
9 ¶ 그러자 주께서 모세에게 이같이 일러 말씀하셨느니라.
9 ¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
10 “이스라엘 자녀들에게 이같이 일러 말하라. ‘너희 가운데서 또는 너희 후대에서 어떤 남자가 죽은 시신 때문에 불결하게 되거나 여정으로 멀리 떨어져 있게 되는 경우, 여전히 그는 주께 유월절을 지켜야 하리라.
10 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD.
11 둘째 달 십사 일 저녁때에 그들이 그것을 지킬지니, 누룩이 들어 있지 않은 빵과 쓴맛이 나는 야채들과 더불어 유월절 어린양을 먹을지니라.
11 The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
12 그들은 그것 중 아무것도 아침까지 남기지 말고, 그것의 어떤 뼈도 부러뜨리지 말지니라. 그들은 유월절의 모든 법령들에 따라 그것을 지킬지니라.
12 They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it.
13 그러나 정결하고 여정 중에 있지 아니한 남자가 유월절을 지키는 것을 미룬다면 바로 그 혼은 그의 백성 가운데서 끊어지리라. 이는 그가 정해진 그분의 시기에 주의 제물을 가져오지 아니한 까닭이니, 그 남자는 자기 죄를 담당할지니라.
13 But the man that is clean, and is not in a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.
14 그리고 만일 타국인이 너희 가운데 체류하며 주께 유월절을 지키려 한다면 유월절의 법령에 따라, 또 그것의 방식을 따라 그는 그와 같이 행할지니라. 너희는 타국인을 위해서도 그 지역 가운데 태어난 자를 위해서도 법령을 둘지니라.’”
14 And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.
15 ¶ 그리고 성막이 높이 세워진 날에 구름이 성막, 즉 증언의 천막을 덮었더라. 이윽고 저녁때는 마치 불의 모양 같은 것이 아침까지 성막 위에 있었더라.
15 ¶ And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, namely, the tent of the testimony: and at even there was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until the morning.
16 그것이 늘 그러하여 낮에는 구름이 그것을 덮었고 밤에는 불의 모양이 덮었더라.
16 So it was alway: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night.
17 그리고 구름이 성막에서 위로 들리면 그 뒤에야 비로소 이스라엘 자녀들이 여정을 떠났더라. 그리고 구름이 거한 장소 가운데서 이스라엘 자녀들이 그들의 천막들을 그곳에 쳤더라.
17 And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents.
18 주의 명령에 따라 이스라엘 자녀들이 여정을 떠났고, 주의 명령에 따라 그들이 진을 쳤더라. 구름이 성막 위에 거하는 동안은 그들이 자신들의 천막들 안에서 안식하였더라.
18 At the commandment of the LORD the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the LORD they pitched: as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they rested in their tents.
19 그리고 구름이 성막 위에서 많은 날들 동안 오래 지체하면 그때 이스라엘 자녀들이 주의 책무를 지키고 여정을 떠나지 아니하였더라.
19 And when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge of the LORD, and journeyed not.
20 그리고 구름이 성막 위에 며칠 동안 있었을 때도 그와 같았더라. 주의 명령에 따라 그들이 자신들의 천막들 안에 거하였으며 주의 명령에 따라 그들이 여정을 떠났더라.
20 And so it was, when the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; according to the commandment of the LORD they abode in their tents, and according to the commandment of the LORD they journeyed.
21 그리고 구름이 저녁때부터 아침까지 거하였을 때도 그와 같았더라. 그러다가 그 구름이 아침에 위로 들리면 그때 그들은 여정을 떠났으니, 때가 낮이었든지 밤이었든지 간에 그 구름이 위로 들리면 그들이 여정을 떠났더라.
21 And so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed.
22 또는 이틀이었든지 한 달이었든지 일 년이었든지 간에 그 구름이 성막 위에 남아 그 위에 머물면 이스라엘 자녀들은 자신들의 천막들 안에 거하였으며 여정을 떠나지 아니하였더라. 그러나 그것이 위로 들렸을 때는 그들이 여정을 떠났더라.
22 Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed.
23 주의 명령에 따라 그들이 천막들 안에서 안식하였으며 주의 명령에 따라 그들이 여정을 떠났더라. 그들이 모세의 손을 통한 주의 명령에 따라 주의 책무를 지켰더라.
23 At the commandment of the LORD they rested in the tents, and at the commandment of the LORD they journeyed: they kept the charge of the LORD, at the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
