1 그렇게 하여 솔로몬왕이 온 이스라엘을 다스리는 왕이 되었더라.
1 So king Solomon was king over all Israel.
2 그런즉 이들이 그가 보유한 통치자들이었으니, 사독의 아들 아자리야가 제사장이었고,
2 And these were the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the priest,
3 시샤의 아들들인 엘리호렙과 아히야는 서기관들이었으며, 아힐룻의 아들 여호샤팟은 역사 기록관이었더라.
3 Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder.
4 그리고 여호야다의 아들 브나야는 군대를 관리하였더라. 또 사독과 아비아달은 제사장들이었더라.
4 And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host: and Zadok and Abiathar were the priests:
5 그리고 나단의 아들 아자리야는 관원들을 관리하였더라. 또 나단의 아들 자붓은 주요 관원이자 왕의 친구였더라.
5 And Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers: and Zabud the son of Nathan was principal officer, and the king's friend:
6 그리고 아히샬은 가문을 관리하였더라. 또 압다의 아들 아도니람은 공세를 관리하였더라.
6 And Ahishar was over the household: and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the tribute.
7 ¶ 그리고 솔로몬은 온 이스라엘 위에 열두 명의 관원들을 두었으니, 그들이 왕과 그의 집안을 위하여 먹을거리들을 제공하였더라. 각 사람이 일 년 중에 자기가 맡은 달에 음식물을 마련하였더라.
7 ¶ And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision.
8 그런즉 이것들이 그들의 이름들이니라. 에프라임산 속에서는 훌의 아들이요,
8 And these are their names: The son of Hur, in mount Ephraim:
9 마카즈와 샤알빔과 벧셰메시와 엘론벧하난에서는 데칼의 아들이요,
9 The son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Bethshemesh, and Elonbethhanan:
10 아루봇에서는 헤셋의 아들이니, 소코흐와 헤펠 전 지역이 그에게 귀속되어 있으며,
10 The son of Hesed, in Aruboth; to him pertained Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher:
11 도르의 온 구역에서는 아비나답의 아들이니, 그는 솔로몬의 딸 타팟을 아내로 얻은 자요,
11 The son of Abinadab, in all the region of Dor; which had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife:
12 아힐룻의 아들 바아나니, 그에게 타아낙과 메기도가 귀속되어 있으며 이즈르엘 밑 자르타나 옆에 있는 벧셰안 전체, 곧 벧셰안부터 아벨므홀라까지 심지어 욕느암 너머에 있는 장소까지 귀속되어 있으며,
12 Baana the son of Ahilud; to him pertained Taanach and Megiddo, and all Bethshean, which is by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Bethshean to Abelmeholah, even unto the place that is beyond Jokneam:
13 라못길르앗에서는 게벨의 아들이니, 그에게 길르앗에 있는 므낫세의 아들 야일의 마을들이 귀속되어 있고, 또한 그에게 바샨에 있는 아르곱 구역, 곧 성벽들과 놋 빗장들이 있는 육십 개의 거대한 도시들이 귀속되어 있으며,
13 The son of Geber, in Ramothgilead; to him pertained the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; to him also pertained the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, threescore great cities with walls and brasen bars:
14 잇도의 아들 아히나답은 마하나임을 맡았고,
14 Ahinadab the son of Iddo had Mahanaim:
15 아히마아즈는 납탈리에 속하였고, 그는 또한 솔로몬의 딸 바스맛을 아내로 얻은 자요,
15 Ahimaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife:
16 아셸과 알롯에는 후샤이의 아들 바아나흐였으며,
16 Baanah the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth:
17 잇사칼에서는 파루아의 아들 여호샤팟이요,
17 Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar:
18 베냐민에서는 엘라의 아들 시므이요,
18 Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin:
19 우리의 아들 게벨은 길르앗 지방에 속하였으니, 곧 아모리족들의 왕 시혼과 바샨 왕 옥의 지방인데, 그는 그 지역에 속한 유일한 관원이었더라.
19 Geber the son of Uri was in the country of Gilead, in the country of Sihon king of the Amorites, and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the only officer which was in the land.
20 ¶ 유다와 이스라엘은 허다하여 바닷가에 있는 모래와 같이 많아졌으니, 먹고 마시며 즐거워하였더라.
20 ¶ Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.
21 그리고 솔로몬은 그 강에서부터 필리스티아인들의 지역까지, 또 이집트의 경계까지 모든 왕국들 위에 군림하였더라. 그들이 증여물들을 가져왔고 솔로몬의 생애의 모든 날들 동안 그를 섬겼더라.
21 And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.
22 ¶ 그리고 솔로몬의 하루에 지급되는 음식물은 고운 곡물 가루 삼십 도량과 굵은 곡물 가루 육십 도량이요,
22 ¶ And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal,
23 살진 소들 열 마리와 초원들에서 온 소들 스무 마리와 양들 일백 마리니, 그 외에 수사슴들과 수노루들과 다마사슴과 살진 날짐승이라.
23 Ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and an hundred sheep, beside harts, and roebucks, and fallowdeer, and fatted fowl.
24 이는 그가 강의 이편의 전 구역, 곧 팁사에서부터 앗자에 이르기까지 지배하였고, 강의 이편에 모든 왕들을 지배하였기 때문이라. 그런즉 그가 자기 주위의 사면에서 화평을 누렸더라.
24 For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had peace on all sides round about him.
25 그리하여 유다와 이스라엘이 안전하게 지냈으니, 솔로몬의 모든 날들 동안 단에서부터 베르셰바에 이르기까지 모든 사람마다 자기 포도나무 아래와 자기 무화과나무 아래에서 지냈더라.
25 And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.
26 ¶ 그리고 솔로몬은 그의 병거들을 위한 말들의 외양간 사만 개와 기병들 일만 이천 명을 보유하였더라.
26 ¶ And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.
27 그리고 그 관원들은 솔로몬왕을 위하여, 또 솔로몬왕의 식탁으로 오는 모든 이들을 위하여 모든 사람이 저마다 자기가 맡은 달에 먹을거리를 제공하였으니, 그들이 아무것도 모자라지 아니하였더라.
27 And those officers provided victual for king Solomon, and for all that came unto king Solomon's table, every man in his month: they lacked nothing.
28 말들과 단봉낙타들을 위한 보리와 짚도 그들이 관원들이 있던 장소로 가져왔으니, 모든 사람이 저마다 자기 책무에 따라 하였더라.
28 Barley also and straw for the horses and dromedaries brought they unto the place where the officers were, every man according to his charge.
29 ¶ 그런즉 하나님께서 솔로몬에게 지극히 많은 지혜와 명철을 주시고 넓은 마음을 주셨으니, 곧 해안 기슭에 있는 모래 같더라.
29 ¶ And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore.
30 그리고 솔로몬의 지혜가 동쪽 지방의 모든 자녀들의 지혜와 이집트의 모든 지혜를 능가하였더라.
30 And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.
31 이는 그가 모든 사람들보다 지혜로워서 에스라족 에단과, 마홀의 아들들인 헤만과 캘콜과 다르다보다 지혜로웠기 때문이라. 그런즉 그의 명성이 주변 모든 민족들 가운데 자자하였더라.
31 For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.
32 그리고 그가 삼천 편의 잠언들을 일렀으니, 그의 노래들도 일천다섯 편이었더라.
32 And he spake three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.
33 그리고 그가 레바논에 있는 백향목의 수목부터 시작하여 무려 벽에서 싹을 틔우는 우슬초에 이르기까지 나무들에 관하여 이야기하였더라. 그가 또한 짐승들과 날짐승과 기어다니는 것들과 물고기들에 관하여 이야기하였더라.
33 And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.
34 그리하여 솔로몬의 지혜를 들으려고 모든 백성들 중에서 사람들이 왔으니, 그의 지혜에 관하여 들은 땅의 모든 왕들로부터 왔더라.
34 And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom.
