1 이후에 이스라엘 자녀들이 이집트 지역에서 나온 지 사백팔십 년째 되는 해이자 솔로몬의 이스라엘 통치 네 번째 해 둘째 달인 집 월에 이러한 일이 있었으니, 그가 주의 집을 건축하기 시작하였더라.
1 And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.
2 그리고 솔로몬왕이 주를 위하여 건축한 집은 그것의 길이가 육십 큐빗이요, 그것의 너비가 이십 큐빗이요, 그것의 높이가 삼십 큐빗이었더라.
2 And the house which king Solomon built for the LORD, the length thereof was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits.
3 그리고 그 집의 성전 앞 주랑은 그 집의 너비에 따라 그것의 길이가 이십 큐빗이요, 집 앞에 있는 그것의 너비는 십 큐빗이었더라.
3 And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits was the length thereof, according to the breadth of the house; and ten cubits was the breadth thereof before the house.
4 그리고 그 집을 위하여 그가 폭이 좁은 채광창들을 만들었더라.
4 And for the house he made windows of narrow lights.
5 ¶ 그리고 그가 그 집의 벽에 붙여서 방실들을 빙 둘러 건축하였는데, 그 집의 벽들을 마주하고 빙 둘렀으니, 성전의 벽들과 신탁의 장소의 벽들을 모두 빙 둘렀더라. 그리하여 그가 방실들을 빙 둘러 만들었더라.
5 ¶ And against the wall of the house he built chambers round about, against the walls of the house round about, both of the temple and of the oracle: and he made chambers round about:
6 맨 아래층 방실의 너비는 오 큐빗이었고, 중간 방실의 너비는 육 큐빗이었으며, 삼 층 방실의 너비는 칠 큐빗이었더라. 이는 그가 집 벽의 바깥쪽에 받치는 좁은 지지대들을 빙 둘러 만들었기 때문이니, 들보들이 그 집의 벽들 안쪽에다 고정되게 하지 않으려 함이더라.
6 The nethermost chamber was five cubits broad, and the middle was six cubits broad, and the third was seven cubits broad: for without in the wall of the house he made narrowed rests round about, that the beams should not be fastened in the walls of the house.
7 그리고 그 집은 그것이 건축되는 동안 거기로 그것이 운송되기 전에 이미 만들어진 돌로 건축되었더라. 그렇기에 그 집 안에서는 그것이 건축되는 동안 철로 된 망치나 도끼나 어떤 연장 소리도 들려오지 아니하였더라.
7 And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.
8 중간 방실을 위한 문은 그 집의 오른쪽 측면에 있었고, 그들은 나선형 계단들로 중간 방실로 올라갔으며, 중간 층에서 나와서 삼 층으로 올라갔더라.
8 The door for the middle chamber was in the right side of the house: and they went up with winding stairs into the middle chamber, and out of the middle into the third.
9 그렇게 하여 그가 그 집을 건축하고 공사를 마쳤으며, 그 집을 백향목으로 된 들보들과 판자들로 덮었더라.
9 So he built the house, and finished it; and covered the house with beams and boards of cedar.
10 그러고 난 다음에 그가 집 전체에 붙여서 오 큐빗 높이의 방실들을 건축하였으니, 그것들이 그 집 위에 백향목 재목으로 얹혔더라.
10 And then he built chambers against all the house, five cubits high: and they rested on the house with timber of cedar.
11 ¶ 이후에 주의 말씀이 솔로몬에게 임하여 이같이 말씀하셨느니라.
11 ¶ And the word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying,
12 “네가 건축하고 있는 이 집에 관하여 만일 네가 나의 규례들 가운데 살아가고 나의 공의로운 법규들을 집행하며 나의 모든 명령들 가운데 살아가고자 그것들을 지킨다면, 내가 너의 아버지 다윗에게 이야기한 나의 말을 그때 내가 너에게 수행하겠노라.
12 Concerning this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father:
13 그리고 내가 이스라엘 자녀들 가운데 거하겠으며, 나의 백성 이스라엘을 저버리지 아니하겠노라.”
13 And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel.
14 그렇게 하여 솔로몬이 그 집을 건축하였으니, 공사를 마쳤더라.
14 So Solomon built the house, and finished it.
15 그리고 그가 백향목 판자들로 그 집의 안쪽 벽들을 건축하였고 그 집의 마루와 천장의 벽들을 모두 그리하였더라. 그리고 그가 그것들 안쪽 면에는 목재로 덮었고 그 집의 마루는 전나무 널빤지들로 덮었더라.
15 And he built the walls of the house within with boards of cedar, both the floor of the house, and the walls of the cieling: and he covered them on the inside with wood, and covered the floor of the house with planks of fir.
16 그리고 그가 그 집의 옆면들에 마루와 벽들을 모두 이십 큐빗의 백향목 판자들로 건축하였더라. 그가 실로 내부에 있는 그것을 위하여 그것들을 건축하였으니, 바로 신탁의 장소를 위하여, 바로 지성소를 위하여 그리하였더라.
16 And he built twenty cubits on the sides of the house, both the floor and the walls with boards of cedar: he even built them for it within, even for the oracle, even for the most holy place.
17 그리고 그 집, 곧 그것 앞에 있는 성전은 사십 큐빗만큼 길었더라.
17 And the house, that is, the temple before it, was forty cubits long.
18 그리고 그 집 내부의 백향목에는 꽃받침들과 활짝 핀 꽃들이 새겨 넣어져 있었더라. 모든 것이 백향목이었고 돌은 보이지 아니하였더라.
18 And the cedar of the house within was carved with knops and open flowers: all was cedar; there was no stone seen.
19 그리고 그가 그 집 안 내부에 주의 언약궤를 안치하려고 거기에 신탁의 장소를 마련하였더라.
19 And the oracle he prepared in the house within, to set there the ark of the covenant of the LORD.
20 그리고 신탁의 장소 앞부분은 길이가 이십 큐빗이요, 너비가 이십 큐빗이요, 그곳의 높이가 이십 큐빗이었더라. 그리고 그는 그곳을 순금으로 입혔더라. 또 백향목으로 된 제단도 그렇게 덮었더라.
20 And the oracle in the forepart was twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height thereof: and he overlaid it with pure gold; and so covered the altar which was of cedar.
21 그렇게 하여 솔로몬이 그 집의 내부를 순금으로 입혔더라. 또 그가 금사슬들로 신탁의 장소 앞에 한 칸막이를 만들었고 그는 그것에 금을 입혔더라.
21 So Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold: and he made a partition by the chains of gold before the oracle; and he overlaid it with gold.
22 그리하여 집 전체를 그가 금으로 입혔으니, 자신이 온 집에 입히기를 마칠 때까지 그리하였더라. 또한 신탁의 장소 옆에 있던 제단 전체를 그가 금으로 입혔더라.
22 And the whole house he overlaid with gold, until he had finished all the house: also the whole altar that was by the oracle he overlaid with gold.
23 ¶ 그리고 그가 신탁의 장소 내부에 올리브나무로 된 두 그룹들을 각각 십 큐빗 높이로 만들었더라.
23 ¶ And within the oracle he made two cherubims of olive tree, each ten cubits high.
24 그리하여 그룹의 한 날개는 오 큐빗이요, 그룹의 다른 날개도 오 큐빗이었더라. 한 날개의 맨 끝부분에서 다른 날개의 맨 끝부분은 십 큐빗이었더라.
24 And five cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one wing unto the uttermost part of the other were ten cubits.
25 그리고 다른 그룹도 십 큐빗이었으니, 그룹들이 모두 하나의 치수와 하나의 크기였더라.
25 And the other cherub was ten cubits: both the cherubims were of one measure and one size.
26 한 그룹의 높이는 십 큐빗이었고 다른 그룹의 높이도 그러하였더라.
26 The height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was it of the other cherub.
27 그리고 그가 안쪽 집 내부에 그룹들을 세웠더라. 그리고 그들이 그룹의 날개들을 앞으로 뻗게 하였으니, 한 그룹의 날개가 한쪽 벽에 닿았고 다른 그룹의 날개가 다른 쪽 벽에 닿았더라. 그리고 그들의 날개들이 집 한가운데서 서로 닿았더라.
27 And he set the cherubims within the inner house: and they stretched forth the wings of the cherubims, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house.
28 그리고 그가 그룹들을 금으로 입혔더라.
28 And he overlaid the cherubims with gold.
29 그리고 그가 그 집의 모든 벽들에 그룹들과 종려나무들과 활짝 핀 꽃들의 깎아 만든 모형들을 안팎으로 빙 둘러가며 팠더라.
29 And he carved all the walls of the house round about with carved figures of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, within and without.
30 또 그가 그 집 마루의 안팎에 금을 입혔더라.
30 And the floor of the house he overlaid with gold, within and without.
31 ¶ 그리고 신탁의 장소의 진입로에는 그가 올리브나무로 된 문들을 만들었더라. 상인방과 측면 문기둥들은 벽의 오분의 일을 차지하였더라.
31 ¶ And for the entering of the oracle he made doors of olive tree: the lintel and side posts were a fifth part of the wall.
32 두 문들도 올리브나무로 되었으니, 그가 그것들에다 그룹들과 종려나무들과 활짝 핀 꽃들을 조각한 무늬들을 팠고 그것들에 금을 입혔으며 그룹들 위와 종려나무들 위에 금을 깔았더라.
32 The two doors also were of olive tree; and he carved upon them carvings of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold, and spread gold upon the cherubims, and upon the palm trees.
33 그렇게 하여 그가 또한 성전 문을 위하여 올리브나무로 된 문틀을 만들었더니 벽의 사분의 일을 차지하였더라.
33 So also made he for the door of the temple posts of olive tree, a fourth part of the wall.
34 그리고 두 개의 문들은 전나무로 이루어졌는데, 한 문의 두 문짝들은 접혔고 다른 문의 두 문짝들도 접혔더라.
34 And the two doors were of fir tree: the two leaves of the one door were folding, and the two leaves of the other door were folding.
35 그리고 그가 그것에다 그룹들과 종려나무들과 활짝 핀 꽃들을 팠고, 깎아 만들어진 작업물에 맞아떨어지도록 금으로 그것들을 덮었더라.
35 And he carved thereon cherubims and palm trees and open flowers: and covered them with gold fitted upon the carved work.
36 ¶ 그리고 그가 절단된 돌 세 줄과 백향목 들보들 한 줄로 안뜰을 건축하였더라.
36 ¶ And he built the inner court with three rows of hewed stone, and a row of cedar beams.
37 ¶ 제사년, 집 월에 주의 집의 기초가 놓였더라.
37 ¶ In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of the LORD laid, in the month Zif:
38 그리고 제십일년, 여덟째 달인 불 월에 집의 모든 부분들을 통틀어 그것의 모든 형식에 따라 집이 완성되었더라. 그렇게 하여 그가 그것을 건축하는 데 칠 년이 걸렸더라.
38 And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it.
