1 이때 베드로와 요한이 제구시 기도하는 시각에 성전 안으로 함께 올라갔더라.
1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
2 그리고 그의 어미의 태에서부터 걷지 못하는 어떤 남자 한 명이 옮겨져 왔는데, 성전 안으로 들어가는 자들에게 자선을 청하도록 그들이 그를 아름다운 문이라고 불리는 성전 대문에 매일 눕혔더라.
2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
3 베드로와 요한이 막 성전 안으로 들어가려는 것을 그가 보더니 한 자선을 청하였더라.
3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
4 그러자 베드로가 요한과 함께 그의 두 눈을 그에게 고정하며 말하기를, “우리를 바라보라.” 하였더라.
4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
5 그러자 그가 그들에게서 무언가 받을 것을 기대하며 그들에게 관심을 기울였더라.
5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
6 그때 베드로가 말하기를, “은과 금은 나에게 전혀 없으나 나는 내가 이와 같이 소유한 것을 너에게 주노라. 나사렛 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 일어나서 걸으라.” 하였더라.
6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 그런 다음에 그가 그를 오른손으로 잡았으며 그를 일으켜 세웠더라. 그러자 즉시 그의 두 발과 발목뼈들이 힘을 받았더라.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8 그리하여 그가 서서 걷고 껑충 뛰며 성전 안으로 그들과 함께 들어갔으니, 걷기도 하고 껑충 뛰기도 하며 하나님을 찬송하더라.
8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
9 그러자 모든 백성이 그가 걸으며 하나님을 찬송하는 것을 보았더라.
9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:
10 그리고 그들은 그가 성전의 아름다운 문에 앉아서 자선을 구하던 자였음을 알았더라. 이에 그들이 그에게 일어난 그 일로 인하여 경이로움과 놀라움으로 가득찼더라.
10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.
11 그리하여 걷지 못하다가 치유된 그 남자가 베드로와 요한을 붙드는 동안, 솔로몬의 주랑이라고 불리는 주랑 안에서 모든 백성이 대단히 경이로워하며 그들에게 함께 달려갔더라.
11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.
12 ¶ 그리고 베드로가 그것을 보았을 때 그가 백성에게 회답하였더라. “너희, 이스라엘 사람들아, 어찌하여 너희는 이 일에 놀라워하느냐? 혹은 마치 우리가 우리 자신의 권능이나 거룩함으로 이 사람을 걷게 하기라도 한 듯이 어찌하여 너희는 우리를 그렇게 열렬하게 바라보느냐?
12 ¶ And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?
13 아브라함의 하나님이요, 이삭의 하나님이요, 야곱의 하나님이신 우리 조상들의 하나님께서 그분의 아들이신 예수님을 영화롭게 하셨도다. 그분을 너희가 넘겨 버렸고 빌라도가 그분을 풀어주기로 결정하였을 때 그의 면전에서 그분을 부인하였도다.
13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.
14 그러나 거룩하신 분이요 정의로우신 분을 너희가 부인하였고, 너희에게 넘겨질 살인자를 열망하였으며,
14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;
15 생명의 통치자를 죽였으니, 하나님께서 그분을 죽은 자들로부터 일으키셨도다. 우리가 그 일의 증인들이라.
15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.
16 그런즉 그분의 이름에 대한 믿음을 통하여 그분의 이름이 이 사람을 강건하게 하였으니, 너희가 그를 보고 아느니라. 진정, 그분에 의한 믿음이 너희 모두 앞에서 그를 이렇듯 완전히 낫게 하였도다.
16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
17 그런즉 형제들아, 이제 나는 너희의 치리자들도 그랬던 것처럼 너희가 그것을 행한 것이 무지함 때문임을 알겠노라.
17 And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.
18 그러나 그러한 것들은 하나님께서 그분의 모든 예언자들의 입을 통하여 그리스도께서 수난을 겪으셔야 하심을 미리 보이신 것들이니, 그분께서 그와 같이 성취하셨느니라.
18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.
19 ¶ 그러므로 너희는 회개하라. 그리고 회심하라. 이는 주의 임재로부터 소생하는 때들이 임할 때 너희의 죄들이 지워져 없어지게 하려 함이라.
19 ¶ Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
20 이후에 그분께서 예수 그리스도를 보내시리니, 그분께서는 너희에게 미리 선포된 분이시라.
20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21 모든 것들을 회복하는 때들까지 하늘이 그분을 받아들여야만 하나니, 곧 세상이 시작된 이래로 하나님께서 그분의 모든 거룩한 예언자들의 입을 통하여 말씀하신 것들이라.
21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
22 이는 참으로 모세가 조상들에게 이같이 말하였기 때문이라. ‘주 너희 하나님께서 너희 형제들 중에서 나와 같은 한 예언자를 너희에게 일으켜 세우시리라. 그가 너희에게 무엇을 말하든지 모든 것들에 있어서 너희는 그의 말을 들을지니라.
22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
23 그리고 이러한 일이 있으리니, 그 예언자의 말을 듣지 아니할 모든 혼마다 백성 가운데서 멸망을 당하리라.’
23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
24 그런즉, 진정 사무엘부터 그 뒤를 이은 자들까지 모든 예언자들, 곧 말씀을 전한 자들은 다 그와 마찬가지로 이날들에 관하여 예고하였느니라.
24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.
25 너희는 예언자들의 자녀들이요, 하나님께서 우리 조상들과 제정하신 언약의 자녀들이니, 아브라함에게 말씀하시기를, ‘그리하여 너의 씨 안에서 땅의 모든 종족들이 복을 받으리라.’ 하셨느니라.
25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
26 하나님께서 너희에게 먼저 그분의 아들이신 예수님을 일으켜 세우셨으며, 너희 모두가 각자 자신의 죄악들을 돌이킬 때 너희에게 복을 주시고자 그분을 보내셨느니라.”
26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
