1 다음으로 주께서 모세에게 이같이 일러 말씀하셨느니라.
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2 “이스라엘 자녀들의 온 회중에게 일러 그들에게 이같이 말하라. ‘너희는 거룩할지니라. 이는 나, 주 너희 하나님이 거룩하기 때문이라.
2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.
3 ¶ 너희 각인은 자기 어머니와 자기 아버지를 두려워하고, 나의 안식일들을 지킬지니라. 나는 주 너희 하나님이로다.
3 ¶ Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God.
4 ¶ 너희는 우상들에게 돌이키지 말고, 주조된 신들을 너희에게 만들지 말지니라. 나는 주 너희 하나님이로다.
4 ¶ Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God.
5 ¶ 그리고 만일 너희가 화평 제물들에 속한 희생 제물을 주께 바친다면, 너희는 너희 자신의 의지로 그것을 바칠지니라.
5 ¶ And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, ye shall offer it at your own will.
6 그것은 너희가 그것을 바치는 당일과 이튿날에 섭취되어야 하느니라. 그리고 만일 셋째 날까지 조금이라도 남아 있다면 그것은 불로 태워져야 하느니라.
6 It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.
7 그런즉 만일 조금이라도 그것이 셋째 날에 섭취된다면, 그것은 가증하니라. 그것은 기꺼이 받아들여지지 아니하리라.
7 And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; it shall not be accepted.
8 그러므로 그것을 먹는 모든 이마다 자신의 죄악을 담당할지니, 그가 주께 속한 거룩하게 된 것을 속되게 한 까닭이라. 그리하여 그 혼은 그의 백성 가운데서 끊어지리라.
8 Therefore every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
9 ¶ 그리고 너희가 너희 토지의 수확을 거둘 때 너는 너의 밭의 구석들까지 전부 거두지 말며, 너는 너의 수확에서 떨어진 이삭들을 주워 모으지도 말지니라.
9 ¶ And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest.
10 그리고 너는 너의 포도원에서 이삭을 줍지 말지니라. 또한 너는 너의 포도원의 모든 포도를 저마다 거두지도 말지니라. 너는 가난한 자와 타국인을 위하여 그것들을 남겨 둘지니라. 나는 주 너희 하나님이로다.
10 And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God.
11 ¶ 너희는 도둑질하지 말고, 거짓되이 대하지도 말며, 서로 거짓말하지도 말지니라.
11 ¶ Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.
12 ¶ 그리고 너희는 내 이름으로 거짓되이 맹세하지 말지니, 너는 너의 하나님의 이름을 욕되게 하지도 말지니라. 나는 주로다.
12 ¶ And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.
13 ¶ 너는 너의 이웃을 속여서 빼앗지 말며, 그에게서 강탈하지도 말지니라. 고용된 자의 품삯이 아침까지 밤새 너의 편에 있게 하지 말지니라.
13 ¶ Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.
14 ¶ 너는 귀먹은 자를 저주하지 말고, 눈먼 자 앞에 걸려 넘어지게 하는 장애물을 놓지 말며, 오직 너의 하나님을 두려워할지니라. 나는 주로다.
14 ¶ Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the LORD.
15 ¶ 너희는 재판에서 불의를 행하지 말지니라. 너는 가난한 자의 외모를 존중하지 말며, 막강한 자의 외모를 예우하지도 말지니라. 오직 너는 의 가운데서 너의 이웃을 재판할지니라.
15 ¶ Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
16 ¶ 너는 너의 백성 사이에서 어떤 소문을 퍼뜨리는 자같이 위아래로 다니지 말지니라. 또한 너는 너의 이웃의 피를 대적하여 서지도 말지니라. 나는 주로다.
16 ¶ Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the LORD.
17 ¶ 너는 너의 마음속으로 너의 형제를 증오하지 말지니라. 너는 어떻게든지 너의 이웃을 꾸짖어 죄가 그에게 임하는 것을 내버려 두지 말지니라.
17 ¶ Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
18 ¶ 너는 복수하지 말고 너의 백성의 자녀들을 대적하여 어떤 원한도 품지 말며 다만 너는 너의 이웃을 너 자신과 같이 사랑할지니라. 나는 주로다.
18 ¶ Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.
19 ¶ 너희는 나의 규례들을 지킬지니라. 너는 너의 가축들을 여러 가지 종류와 교배시키지 말지니라. 너는 섞인 씨를 너의 밭에 뿌리지 말며, 아마와 양털을 섞은 의복도 네 위에 착용하지 말지니라.
19 ¶ Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.
20 ¶ 그리고 누구든지 한 남편과 정혼한 여성 노예, 곧 일체 구속을 받지 못하였으며, 자유의 권리도 그녀에게 주어지지 않은 여자와 육신적으로 동침하면, 그녀는 채찍질을 당할지니라. 그들이 사형에 처해지지는 않으리니, 그녀가 자유롭지 않았던 까닭이라.
20 ¶ And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free.
21 그런즉 그는 자신의 범법 제물을 회중의 성막 문으로 주께 가져올지니, 곧 범법 제물로서 숫양 한 마리라.
21 And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, even a ram for a trespass offering.
22 그런 다음에 제사장은 그가 행한 그의 죄로 인하여 주 앞에서 그 범법 제물의 숫양으로 그를 위한 속죄를 이행할지니라. 그리하면 그가 행한 죄가 그에게서 용서되리라.
22 And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the LORD for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him.
23 ¶ 그리고 너희가 그 지역으로 들어가서 양식을 위하여 온갖 부류의 나무들을 심을 때면, 그때 너희는 그것의 열매를 할례받지 않은 것같이 여길지니라. 삼 년 동안 그것은 너희에게 할례받지 않은 것과 같으리라. 그것이 섭취되어서는 아니 되느니라.
23 ¶ And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.
24 그러나 네 번째 해에는 그것의 모든 열매가 거룩할지니, 그것으로 주를 찬양할지니라.
24 But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the LORD withal.
25 그리고 다섯 번째 해에 너희는 그것의 열매를 먹을지니, 그것이 너희에게 그것의 소산을 내도록 하려 함이라. 나는 주 너희 하나님이로다.
25 And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am the LORD your God.
26 ¶ 너희는 어떤 것도 피와 더불어 먹지 말지니라. 또한 너희는 마력을 사용하지 말며 점을 보지도 말지니라.
26 ¶ Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.
27 너희는 너희 머리의 가장자리들을 둥글게 하지 말지니, 너는 너의 수염의 가장자리들을 손상시키지도 말지니라.
27 Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.
28 너희는 죽은 자들을 위하여 너희 살에다 어떠한 베어 낸 상처들을 만들지 말지니, 너희 위에 어떠한 표들도 찍지 말지니라. 나는 주로다.
28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.
29 ¶ 너의 딸로 성매매를 하게 하여 그녀로 하여금 매춘부가 되게 하지 말지니, 그 지역이 매춘에 빠져 그 지역이 사악함으로 가득해지지 않게 하려 함이라.
29 ¶ Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.
30 ¶ 너희는 나의 안식일들을 지키고 나의 성소를 경외할지니라. 나는 주로다.
30 ¶ Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.
31 ¶ 부리는 영들을 지닌 자들에게 유념하지 말며, 요술사들을 추종하여 그들에 의하여 더럽혀지지도 말라. 나는 주 너희 하나님이로다.
31 ¶ Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.
32 ¶ 너는 흰머리 앞에서 일어나고, 노인의 얼굴을 공경하며, 너의 하나님을 두려워할지니라. 나는 주로다.
32 ¶ Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD.
33 ¶ 그리고 만일 어떤 타국인이 너희 지역에서 너와 함께 체류한다면 너희는 그를 핍박하지 말지니라.
33 ¶ And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.
34 그러나 너희와 함께 거하는 타국인은 너희에게 너희 사이에서 태어난 이와 같이 되리니, 너는 그를 너 자신과 같이 사랑할지니라. 이는 너희가 이집트 지역 가운데서 타국인들이었기 때문이라. 나는 주 너희 하나님이로다.
34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
35 ¶ 너희는 재판에 있어서나 측량기에 있어서나 무게를 다는 일에 있어서나 측량하는 일에 있어서 불의를 행하지 말지니라.
35 ¶ Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.
36 너희는 공정한 저울들과 공정한 저울추들과 공정한 에파와 공정한 힌을 지닐지니라. 나는 너희를 이집트 지역에서 데리고 나온 주 너희 하나님이로다.
36 Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.
37 그러므로 너희는 나의 모든 규례들과 나의 모든 공의로운 법규들을 준수하여 그것들을 실행할지니라. 나는 주로다.’”
37 Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the LORD.
