1 안식일의 끝에 그 주의 첫날을 향해 새벽이 밝아오기 시작했을 때, 막달라인 마리아와 다른 마리아가 그 돌무덤을 보려고 왔더라.
1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
2 그런데 보라, 커다란 지진이 있었더라. 이는 주의 천사가 하늘로부터 내려왔으며 가서 문에서 돌을 도로 굴려 내고 그것 위에 앉았기 때문이라.
2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
3 그의 용모는 번개와 같았으며, 그의 의상은 눈같이 하얗더라.
3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
4 그런즉 지키는 자들이 그를 두려워함으로 인하여 떨었으며, 죽은 사람들같이 되었더라.
4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
5 그러자 그 천사가 여자들에게 대답하여 이같이 말하였더라. “너희는 두려워하지 말라. 이는 너희가 십자가에 못 박히셨던 예수님을 찾는 것을 내가 알기 때문이라.
5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6 그분께서는 여기 계시지 아니하시니라. 이는 그분께서 자신이 말씀하신 대로 살아나셨기 때문이라. 와서 주께서 누우셨던 곳을 보라.
6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7 그런 다음에 속히 가서 그분의 제자들에게 그분께서 죽은 자들로부터 살아나셨음을 알리라. 그리고 보라, 그분께서는 너희보다 앞서 갈릴리로 가시는도다. 너희는 거기서 그분을 보리라. 보라, 나는 너희에게 알려주었노라.”
7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
8 그러자 그들이 두려움과 크나큰 즐거움으로 속히 그 돌무덤에서 떠났으며 그분의 제자들에게 말을 전달하려고 달려갔더라.
8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
9 ¶ 그런데 그들이 그분의 제자들에게 말하러 간 동안, 보라, 예수님께서 그들을 만나셔서 말씀하시기를, “모두 안녕하라.” 하셨느니라. 그러자 그들이 와서 그분의 두 발을 붙잡고 그분께 경배하였더라.
9 ¶ And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
10 그때 예수님께서 그들에게 말씀하시기를, “무서워하지 말라. 나의 형제들에게 가서 그들에게 갈릴리로 가라고 알리라. 그리하면 그들은 거기서 나를 보게 되리라.” 하셨느니라.
10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
11 ¶ 이제 그들이 가고 있을 때, 보라, 경비대 중 일부가 도성 안으로 와서 일어났던 모든 것들을 수석 제사장들에게 자세히 말하였더라.
11 ¶ Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.
12 그러자 그들이 장로들과 함께 소집되어 의논한 후에 그들은 군인들에게 큰 돈을 주며
12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,
13 이같이 말하였더라. “너희는 말하기를, ‘그의 제자들이 밤에 와서 우리가 자고 있던 동안에 그를 훔쳐갔다.’ 하라.
13 Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.
14 그리하면 만일 이것이 총독의 두 귀에 들어가도 우리가 그를 설득하여 너희를 안전하게 하리라.”
14 And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.
15 그렇게 하여 그들이 돈을 받았고 그들이 가르침을 받은 대로 하였더라. 그리하여 이렇게 말한 것이 오늘날까지 유대인들 가운데 일반적으로 전해졌더라.
15 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.
16 ¶ 그때 열한 명의 제자가 갈릴리로 떠나 예수님께서 자신들에게 지정해 주신 산속으로 들어갔더라.
16 ¶ Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
17 그리고 그들이 그분을 뵈었을 때, 그들은 그분께 경배하였으나 일부는 의심하였더라.
17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
18 그런 다음에 예수님께서 오셔서 그들에게 이같이 일러 말씀하셨느니라. “하늘에 있는 모든 권능과 땅에 있는 모든 권능이 나에게 주어지는도다.
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 ¶ 그러므로 너희는 가서 모든 민족들을 가르치고, 그들에게 아버지와 아들과 성령의 이름으로 침례를 주며,
19 ¶ Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 무엇이든지 내가 너희에게 명령한 모든 것들을 준수하도록 그들에게 가르치라. 그런즉 보라, 내가 세상 끝까지라도 언제나 너희와 함께 있느니라.” 아멘.
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
