골로새서 4장

1 주인들아, 너희의 종들에게 공정하고 공평한 것을 베풀라. 너희 역시 하늘에 한 주인을 모시고 있음을 알라.

1 Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.

2 기도를 계속하라. 그리고 감사들을 드림으로 기도에 깨어 있으라.

2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

3 마찬가지로 우리를 위해서도 기도하라. 곧, 하나님께서 우리에게 말할 수 있는 문을 열어 주시어 그리스도의 신비를 전할 수 있도록 기도하라. 그분을 위하여 내가 또한 결박들 가운데 있노라.

3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

4 이는 내가 그 신비를 명백하게 드러내고자 함이니, 내가 마땅히 전해야 하기 때문이라.

4 That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

5 외부에 있는 자들을 향하여 지혜롭게 살아가며 시간을 사서 되찾으라.

5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

6 너희의 언사를 소금으로 맛이 나게 하여 늘 은혜와 함께 있게 하라. 너희가 모든 사람에게 저마다 어떻게 대답해야 할지를 너희로 하여금 알게 하려는 것이라.

6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

7 나의 모든 형편을 투키쿠스가 너희에게 분명하게 밝혀 주리라. 그는 사랑받는 형제요, 주 안에서 신실한 사역자이자 동료 종이라.

7 All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord:

8 내가 그를 너희에게 이와 같은 목적으로 보내었나니, 그로 하여금 너희의 처지를 알고 너희 마음을 위로하게 하려 함이라.

8 Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts;

9 신실하고 사랑받는 형제이자 너희의 일원인 오네시무스를 함께 보내노라. 그들이 너희에게 여기에서 일어났던 모든 일들을 알게 할 것이라.

9 With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here.

10 나의 동료 수감자인 아리스타쿠스와 바나바의 누이의 아들인 마르쿠스²도 너희에게 문안하느니라. (마르쿠스에 대하여는 너희가 명령들을 받았느니라. 만일 그가 너희에게 온다면 그를 영접하라.)

10 Aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and Marcus, sister's son to Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)

11 그리고 유스투스라고 불리는 예수도 문안하느니라. 이들은 할례자에 속하였느니라. 이들만이 하나님의 왕국을 위한 나의 동역자들이요, 그들은 나에게 위로가 되었느니라.

11 And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.

12 너희의 일원이요, 그리스도의 종인 에파프라스가 너희에게 문안하느니라. 그가 항상 너희를 위하여 열정적으로 기도들에 수고하고 있으니, 이는 너희가 하나님의 모든 뜻 안에 완전하고 온전하게 서 있도록 하려 함이라.

12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

13 이는 내가 그에 대하여 확증하노니, 그는 너희를 위한 대단한 열심을 지녔고, 라오디케아에 있는 자들과 히에라폴리스에 있는 자들을 위해서도 마찬가지라.

13 For I bear him record, that he hath a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis.

14 사랑받는 의사인 누가와, 데마가 너희에게 인사하느니라.

14 Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you.

15 라오디케아에 있는 형제들과 눔파스와 그의 집에 있는 교회에 문안하라.

15 Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.

16 그리고 이 서신이 너희 가운데서 읽히고 나면 그것이 라오디케아인들의 교회에서도 읽히게 하라. 그런즉 너희도 마찬가지로 라오디케아에서 온 서신을 읽으라.

16 And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.

17 그리고 아르킵푸스에게 이같이 말하라. “네가 주 안에서 받은 사역에 주의하여 네가 그것을 이루도록 하라.”

17 And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.

18 나 바울의 친필로 된 문안이라. 나의 결박들을 기억하라. 은혜가 너희와 함께 있기를 기원하노라. 아멘.

18 The salutation by the hand of me Paul. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you. Amen.
