에스라 1장

1 이제 페르시아 왕 키루스의 제일년에 예레미야의 입을 통한 주의 말씀이 성취되도록 주께서 페르시아 왕 키루스의 영을 일깨우셨고, 그로 하여금 그의 왕국 전역에 포고령을 내리게 하셨으며 그것을 또한 이와 같은 말로 글에 담게 하셨더라.

1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,

2 “페르시아 왕 키루스가 이같이 말하노라. 하늘의 주 하나님께서 나에게 땅의 모든 왕국들을 주셨도다. 그리고 유다에 있는 예루살렘에서 그분을 위해 집을 건축하라고 그분께서 나에게 명하셨도다.

2 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

3 그분의 모든 백성 중에서 너희 가운데 있는 자가 누구냐? 그의 하나님께서 그와 함께 계시기를 바라노니, 그는 유다에 있는 예루살렘으로 올라가서 예루살렘에 있는, 이스라엘의 주 하나님의 집을 건축할지어다. (그분께서는 하나님이시라.)

3 Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem.

4 그리고 누구든지 남아 있는 자는 그가 어느 곳에 체류하고 있든지 자기 처소의 사람들로 하여금 예루살렘에 있는 하나님의 집을 위하여 자유 의지로 드리는 제물 외에도 은과 금과 재화들과 짐승들로 그를 도울지어다.”

4 And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.

5 ¶ 그때 유다와 베냐민의 아버지들의 우두머리들과, 제사장들과 레위인들이 예루살렘에 있는 주의 집을 건축하기 위해 올라가려고 하나님께서 그들의 영을 일으키셨던 모든 자들과 함께 일어났더라.

5 ¶ Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.

6 그리고 자원하여 바쳐진 모든 것들 이외에도 그들 주위에 있었던 모든 자들이 은으로 된 기물들과 금과 재화들과 짐승들과 귀한 것들을 가지고 그들의 손을 강하게 하였더라.

6 And all they that were about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, beside all that was willingly offered.

7 ¶ 또한 키루스왕이 주의 집의 기물들을 꺼냈으니, 그것들은 네부카드네자르가 예루살렘에서 꺼내 와서 그의 신들의 전당 안에 두었던 것들이라.

7 ¶ Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put them in the house of his gods;

8 바로 그것들을 페르시아 왕 키루스가 재보 담당관인 미드르닷의 손으로 꺼내 왔고, 유다의 통치자 셰슈바잘에게 넘겨 그것들을 계수하였더라.

8 Even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.

9 그런즉 그것들의 수량이 이러하니라. 금으로 된 쟁반들이 삼십 개요, 은으로 된 쟁반들이 일천 개요, 단도들이 이십구 개요,

9 And this is the number of them: thirty chargers of gold, a thousand chargers of silver, nine and twenty knives,

10 금으로 된 대야들이 삼십 개요, 두 번째 등급에 속하는 은 대야들이 사백십 개요, 다른 기물들이 일천 개라.

10 Thirty basons of gold, silver basons of a second sort four hundred and ten, and other vessels a thousand.

11 금과 은으로 된 모든 기물들이 오천사백 개였더라. 이 모든 것들은 셰슈바잘이 포로에 속하는 자들과 함께 가지고 올라갔으니, 그들은 바빌론에서 예루살렘까지 올라가게 된 자들이었더라.

11 All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up with them of the captivity that were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem.
