학개 1:1

1 다리우스 왕 제이년 여섯째 달, 그달 일 일에 예언자 학개를 통하여 셰알티엘의 아들이자 유다의 총독인 스룹바벨과, 요세덱의 아들인 대제사장 여호수아에게 주의 말씀이 임하였더라. 말씀하시기를,

1 In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying,

학개 1:2

2 “만군의 주가 이같이 일러 말하노라. ‘이 백성이 말하기를, ‘그때, 곧 주의 집이 건축될 때가 오지 아니하였노라.’ 하는도다.’”

2 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD'S house should be built.

학개 1:3

3 그때 주의 말씀이 예언자 학개를 통하여 임하여 이같이 말씀하셨느니라.

3 Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,

학개 1:4

4 “오, 너희여, 이 집이 황폐하게 되었는데 지금이 너희가 천장 덮인 너희의 집들에 거할 때냐?

4 Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?

학개 1:5

5 그러므로 이제 만군의 주가 이같이 말하노라. 너희의 길들을 숙고해 보라.

5 Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.

학개 1:6

6 너희가 많이 뿌렸는데도 적게 거두는도다. 너희가 먹으나 너희에게 충분하지 않도다. 너희가 마시나 너희는 마시는 것으로 채워지지 아니하는도다. 너희가 스스로 옷을 입으나 따뜻한 자가 아무도 없도다. 또 품삯을 버는 자는 품삯을 벌어 그것을 구멍들이 있는 가방 안에 넣는도다.

6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.

학개 1:7

7 ¶ 만군의 주가 이같이 말하노라. 너희의 길들을 숙고해 보라.

7 ¶ Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.

학개 1:8

8 산에 올라가서 목재를 가져와 그 집을 건축하라. 그리하면 내가 그것으로 기쁨을 취하겠으며, 내가 영화롭게 되리라. 주가 말하노라.

8 Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.

학개 1:9

9 너희가 많은 것을 바랐으나, 보라, 그것이 적게 되었도다. 그리고 너희가 그것을 집으로 가져갔을 때 내가 그것 위에 바람을 불었도다. 만군의 주가 말하노라. 무슨 까닭이냐? 나의 집이 황폐한데도 너희 각인이 자기 자신의 집으로 달려가기 때문이라.

9 Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.

학개 1:10

10 그러므로 너희 위에 있는 하늘은 이슬이 멎게 되고, 땅은 그녀의 열매가 그치게 되는도다.

10 Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.

학개 1:11

11 그리고 내가 그 지역 위와 산들 위와 곡식 위와 새 포도즙 위와 기름 위와 지면이 내는 것들 위와 사람들 위와 가축들 위와 손들의 모든 수고 위에 가뭄을 불렀도다.”

11 And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.

학개 1:12

12 ¶ 그때 셰알티엘의 아들인 스룹바벨과 요세덱의 아들인 대제사장 여호수아가 백성의 모든 남은 자들과 더불어 주 그들의 하나님의 음성에 순종하였고, 예언자 학개의 말들에 주 그들의 하나님께서 그를 보내신 대로 순종하였으니, 백성이 주 앞에서 두려워하였도다.

12 ¶ Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD.

학개 1:13

13 그때 주의 전령인 학개가 백성에게 주의 전언을 전하며 말하기를, “내가 너희와 함께하노라. 주가 말하노라.” 하였더라.

13 Then spake Haggai the LORD'S messenger in the LORD'S message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the LORD.

학개 1:14

14 그리고 주께서 셰알티엘의 아들이자 유다의 총독인 스룹바벨의 영과, 요세덱의 아들이자 대제사장인 여호수아의 영과, 백성 가운데 모든 남은 자들의 영을 일으키셨더라. 그러자 그들이 와서 만군의 주 그들의 하나님의 집 안에서 일을 하였더라.

14 And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,

학개 1:15

15 다리우스 왕의 제이년 여섯째 달 이십사 일이었더라.

15 In the four and twentieth day of the sixth month, in the second year of Darius the king.
