시편 1편
1 불경건한 자들의 간계 가운데 살아가지 아니하고 죄인들의 길에 서지도 아니하며 경멸하는 자들의 자리에 앉지도 아니하는 사람은 복되도다.
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 그러나 주의 율법 안에 그의 큰 즐거움이 있으니, 그가 그분의 율법을 주야로 묵상하는도다.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 그리고 그는 물이 흐르는 강들 곁에 심겨진 나무 같으리니, 그가 제철에 그의 열매를 내는도다. 그의 잎사귀도 마르지 아니하리니, 그가 하는 것은 무엇이나 형통하리라.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 불경건한 자들은 그렇지 아니하니, 다만 바람이 날려 버리는 쭉정이와 같도다.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 그러므로 불경건한 자들은 심판받을 때에 서지 못하고, 죄인들도 의로운 자들의 회중 가운데 서지 못하리라.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 이는 주께서 의로운 자들의 길을 아시기 때문이라. 그러나 불경건한 자들의 길은 망하리라.
6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
