시편 106편
1 너희는 주를 찬송하라. 오, 주께 감사들을 드리라. 이는 그분께서 선하시기 때문이요, 그분의 자비가 영원토록 지속되기 때문이라.
1 Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 누가 주의 막강하신 행적들을 말로 표현할 수 있겠느냐? 누가 그분의 모든 찬사를 알릴 수 있느냐?
2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise?
3 공의를 지키는 자들과, 언제나 의를 행하는 자는 복되도다.
3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.
4 오, 주여, 당신께서 당신의 백성에게 품으시는 호의로 저를 기억하소서. 오, 당신의 구원으로 저를 찾아 주소서.
4 Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
5 이는 제가 당신의 선택받은 자들의 축복을 보려 함이요, 제가 당신의 민족의 희열을 크게 기뻐하려 함이요, 제가 당신의 유산과 함께 환희하려 함이니이다.
5 That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.
6 저희가 저희 조상들과 함께 죄를 지었나니, 저희는 죄악을 저질렀고, 저희는 사악하게 행하였나이다.
6 We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.
7 저희 조상들이 이집트에서 당신의 이적들을 이해하지 못하였나이다. 그들은 당신의 허다한 자비들을 기억하지 아니하였나이다. 오히려 바다에서, 곧 홍해에서 그분을 격분시켰나이다.
7 Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
8 그럼에도 불구하고 그분께서 자신의 이름을 위하여 그들을 구원하셨나니, 그분께서 자신의 막강한 권능이 알려지게 하려 하심이로다.
8 Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
9 그분께서 홍해도 꾸짖으셨더니 그것이 말라 버렸도다. 그렇게 하여 그분께서 그들로 하여금 마치 광야를 통과하듯 깊은 곳들을 통과하도록 이끄셨도다.
9 He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
10 그러고 나서 그분께서 그들을 증오한 자의 손에서 그들을 구원하셨고, 원수의 손에서 그들을 구속하셨도다.
10 And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
11 그리고 물들이 그들의 원수들을 덮었으니, 그들 중 한 명도 남지 아니하였도다.
11 And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
12 그때 그들이 그분의 말씀들을 믿었고, 그들이 그분의 찬송을 노래하였도다.
12 Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.
13 그들은 그분의 역사들을 금방 잊어버렸도다. 그들은 그분의 조언을 기다리지 아니하였으니,
13 They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:
14 오히려 광야 가운데서 극도로 정욕을 품었으며, 사막 가운데서 하나님을 시험하였도다.
14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.
15 그런즉 그분께서 그들이 요구한 바를 주셨으나, 그들의 혼 속에는 메마름을 보내셨도다.
15 And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
16 그들은 진영 안에서 또한 모세와 주의 성도 아론을 시기하였도다.
16 They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD.
17 땅이 입을 열어 다단을 삼켜 버렸고 아비람의 일행을 덮었도다.
17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
18 그런 다음에 그들 일행 가운데서 불이 붙었으니, 그 불꽃이 사악한 자들을 태워 버렸도다.
18 And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
19 그들이 호렙에서 송아지를 만들고 그 주조된 형상을 경배하였도다.
19 They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
20 이와 같이 그들은 풀을 먹는 소의 모양으로 자신들의 영광을 바꾸었도다.
20 Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.
21 그들은 이집트에서 위대한 일들을 행하신 하나님, 곧 그들의 구원자를 잊었으니,
21 They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;
22 곧 함의 지역 가운데서 경이로운 역사들을 행하시고, 홍해를 통하여 공포스러운 일들을 행하신 분을 잊었도다.
22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.
23 그러므로 그분께서 말씀하시기를, 그분의 선택받은 자인 모세가 그 균열 가운데서 그분 앞에 서지 아니하였더라면, 곧 그분의 진노를 다른 데로 돌려 그분께서 그들을 멸하시지 않도록 하지 아니하였더라면 그분께서 그들을 멸하였으리라고 하셨도다.
23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.
24 진정 그들이 그 기쁨을 주는 지역을 멸시하였고, 그들은 그분의 말씀을 믿지 아니하였도다.
24 Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:
25 오히려 그들은 자신들의 장막들 안에서 불평하며 주의 음성에 경청하지 아니하였도다.
25 But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.
26 그러므로 그분께서 그들을 대적하여 자신의 손을 들어 올리셨으니, 광야 가운데서 그들을 뒤집어엎으려 하심이라.
26 Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:
27 이는 그들의 씨도 민족들 가운데서 괴멸시키고자 하심이요, 그들을 여러 지역들 가운데 흩고자 하심이라.
27 To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.
28 그들은 또한 스스로 바알프올과 연합하였고 죽은 자들의 희생 제물들을 먹었도다.
28 They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
29 이와 같이 그들은 자신들이 창안한 것들로 그분께 분노를 일으켰도다. 그런즉 재앙이 그들 위에 밀려들었도다.
29 Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.
30 그때 피느하스가 일어서서 심판을 집행하였으니, 그렇게 하여 재앙이 그쳤도다.
30 Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.
31 그런즉 그것은 그에게 영원히 모든 세대들에 이르는 의로 여겨졌도다.
31 And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.
32 그들은 또한 분쟁의 물들에서 그분을 분노하게 하였으니, 그들로 인하여 모세에게도 해가 미치게 되었도다.
32 They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:
33 이는 그들이 그의 영을 자극하였기에 그가 자기 입술로 경솔하게 말하였기 때문이라.
33 Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.
34 그들은 주께서 자신들에게 저들에 관하여 멸하라고 명령하신 그 민족들을 멸하지 아니하였으니,
34 They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:
35 오히려 그 이교도들 가운데 섞이면서 저들의 행위들을 배웠도다.
35 But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
36 그런즉 그들은 저들의 우상들을 섬겼으니, 그 우상들이 그들에게 올무가 되었도다.
36 And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.
37 진정 그들은 자신들의 아들들과 자신들의 딸들을 마귀들에게 희생 제물로 바쳤으며,
37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
38 무고한 피, 곧 그들의 아들들과 그들의 딸들의 피를 흘리게 하였으니, 그들이 가나안의 우상들에게 자녀들을 희생 제물로 바쳤도다. 그리하여 그 지역이 피로 오염되었도다.
38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
39 이와 같이 그들이 그들 자신의 행위들로 더럽혀졌고 그들 자신이 창안한 것들로 행음하러 다녔도다.
39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
40 그러므로 주의 진노가 그분의 백성을 대적하여 타올랐으니, 그분께서 그분 자신의 유산을 혐오하실 정도였도다.
40 Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
41 그런즉 그분께서 그들을 이교도들의 손안에 내주셨도다. 그러자 그들을 증오한 자들이 그들을 다스렸도다.
41 And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.
42 그들의 원수들도 그들을 압제하였고 그들이 저들의 손 아래에서 굴복하게 되었도다.
42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
43 그분께서 여러 번 그들을 구출하셨으나 그들은 자신들의 계획으로 그분을 격분시켰고, 자신들의 죄악으로 인하여 낮아졌도다.
43 Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.
44 그럼에도 불구하고 그분께서 그들의 부르짖음을 들으셨을 때 그분께서는 그들의 고난을 유념하셨도다.
44 Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:
45 그리고 그분께서는 그들을 위하여 자신의 언약을 기억하셨고 그분의 허다한 자비들에 따라 돌이키셨도다.
45 And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
46 그분께서는 또한 그들로 하여금 그들을 포로들로 잡아간 모든 자들에게서 동정을 받게 하셨도다.
46 He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.
47 오, 주 우리 하나님이여, 저희를 구원하소서. 그리고 이교도들 가운데서부터 저희를 모으시어, 당신의 거룩한 이름에 감사들을 드리며 당신을 찬송함으로 승리를 기뻐하게 하소서.
47 Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.
48 이스라엘의 주 하나님께서 영원부터 영원까지 찬양받으시기를 바라노라. 그리하면 온 백성은 말하기를, “아멘.” 할지어다. 너희는 주를 찬송하라.
48 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.
