시편 135편
1 너희는 주를 찬송하라. 너희는 주의 이름을 찬송하라. 오, 너희, 주의 종들아, 그분을 찬송하라.
1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise him, O ye servants of the LORD.
2 주의 집 안에, 곧 우리 하나님의 집의 뜰들 안에 서 있는 너희여,
2 Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,
3 주를 찬송하라. 이는 주께서 선하시기 때문이라. 그분의 이름을 향하여 찬송들을 노래하라. 이는 그것이 기쁨을 주기 때문이라.
3 Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
4 이는 주께서 자신에게 야곱을 선택하셨고 이스라엘을 그분의 독특한 보물로서 선택하셨기 때문이라.
4 For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.
5 이는 주께서 위대하시다는 것과, 우리 주께서 모든 신들 위에 계시다는 것을 내가 알기 때문이라.
5 For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
6 주께서 기뻐하시는 것은 무엇이나 하늘과 땅과 바다들과 모든 깊은 처소들에서 친히 그것을 행하셨도다.
6 Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
7 그분께서 수증기들을 땅끝들에서부터 올라오게 하시는도다. 그분께서 비를 위한 번개들을 만드시는도다. 그분께서 바람을 자신의 보고들에서 가져오시는도다.
7 He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.
8 그분께서 이집트의 첫 태생을, 사람이고 짐승이고 할 것 없이 모두 치셨도다.
8 Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.
9 오, 이집트여, 그분께서 너의 한가운데로 징표들과 이적들을 보내시어 파라오 위와 그의 모든 종들 위에 임하게 하셨도다.
9 Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
10 그분께서 창대한 민족들을 치셨고 막강한 왕들을 살해하셨으니,
10 Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;
11 곧 아모리족들의 왕 시혼과, 바샨 왕 옥과, 가나안의 모든 왕국들이라.
11 Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:
12 그런즉 그들의 지역을 상속지로 주셨으니, 자신의 백성 이스라엘에게 상속지로 주셨도다.
12 And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.
13 오, 주여, 당신의 이름은 영원토록 지속되나이다. 오, 주여, 그런즉 당신을 기념함이 모든 세대들에 걸쳐 지속되나이다.
13 Thy name, O LORD, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.
14 이는 주께서 자신의 백성을 재판하실 것이요, 그분께서 자신의 종들에 관하여 스스로 돌이키실 것이기 때문이라.
14 For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.
15 이교도들의 우상들은 은과 금이요, 사람들의 손에서 나온 작업물이라.
15 The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
16 그것들은 입은 있으나 스스로 말하지 못하는도다. 그것들은 눈은 있으나 스스로 보지 못하는도다.
16 They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
17 그것들은 귀는 있으나 스스로 듣지 못하는도다. 그들의 입속에는 어떤 호흡도 없도다.
17 They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.
18 우상들을 만드는 자들은 그것들과 같으니, 그것들을 신뢰하는 모든 자마다 그러하도다.
18 They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.
19 오, 이스라엘 집아, 주를 찬양하라. 오, 아론의 집아, 주를 찬양하라.
19 Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:
20 오, 레위의 집아, 주를 찬양하라. 주를 두려워하는 너희여, 주를 찬양하라.
20 Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.
21 예루살렘에 거하시는 주께서 시온에서부터 찬양받으시기를 바라노라. 너희는 주를 찬송하라.
21 Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
