시편 33편
1 오, 너희, 의로운 자들아, 주를 크게 기뻐하라. 이는 찬송이 올바른 자들에게 적합하기 때문이라.
1 Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
2 하프로 주를 찬송하라. 솔터리와 십현 악기로 그분께 노래하라.
2 Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.
3 새 노래로 그분께 노래하라. 큰 소리로 능숙하게 연주하라.
3 Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.
4 이는 주의 말씀이 옳기 때문이라. 그런즉 그분의 모든 역사들은 진리 안에서 이루어지는도다.
4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.
5 그분께서 의와 공의를 사랑하시는도다. 땅은 주의 선하심으로 충만하도다.
5 He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.
6 주의 말씀에 의하여 하늘들이 만들어졌도다. 그리고 그것들의 모든 군대가 그분의 입에서 나오는 호흡에 의하여 만들어졌도다.
6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
7 그분께서 바닷물들을 무더기같이 한데 모으시는도다. 그분께서 저장고들 안에 깊은 것을 쌓아 올리시는도다.
7 He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
8 온 땅은 주를 두려워할지어다. 세상의 모든 거주자들은 그분께 경외심을 갖고 설지어다.
8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
9 이는 그분께서 말씀하시자 그것이 이루어졌기 때문이라. 그분께서 명령하시자 그것이 확고히 섰도다.
9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.
10 주께서 이교도들의 계획을 무가치한 것이 되게 하시는도다. 그분께서 백성의 계책들을 아무 효력이 없게 하시는도다.
10 The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.
11 주의 계획은 영원토록 서고, 그분의 마음의 생각들이 모든 세대들에게 임하는도다.
11 The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
12 자신들의 하나님이 주이신 민족은 복되도다. 또 그분께서 친히 자신의 유산으로 선택하신 백성은 복되도다.
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
13 주께서 하늘에서 바라보시는도다. 그분께서 사람들의 모든 자손들을 보시는도다.
13 The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.
14 그분께서 자신의 거처가 있는 장소에서 땅의 모든 거주자들을 내려다보시는도다.
14 From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
15 그분께서 그들의 마음을 비슷하게 빚으시는도다. 그분께서 그들의 모든 행위들을 숙고하시는도다.
15 He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.
16 허다한 수의 군대로 구원받은 왕이 전혀 없도다. 막강한 남자가 많은 힘으로 구출받지 못하는도다.
16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
17 안전을 위해서는 말이 헛되나니, 그는 자신의 크나큰 힘으로 아무도 구출하지 못하리라.
17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
18 보라, 주의 눈은 그분을 두려워하는 자들 위에 있고, 그분의 자비를 소망하는 자들 위에 있도다.
18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
19 이는 그들의 혼을 죽음에서 구출하시기 위함이요, 그들을 기근에서 살려 두시기 위함이라.
19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
20 우리의 혼은 주를 기다리는도다. 그분은 우리의 도움이시요, 우리의 방패시로다.
20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.
21 이는 우리의 마음이 그분을 크게 기뻐할 것이기 때문이요, 우리가 그분의 거룩한 이름을 신뢰한 까닭이라.
21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
22 오, 주여, 우리가 당신을 소망함에 따라 당신의 자비가 우리 위에 있게 하소서.
22 Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
