<A Song of degrees.>
1 주여, 다윗과 그의 모든 고난들을 기억하소서.
1 LORD, remember David, and all his afflictions:
2 어떻게 그가 주께 맹세하고 야곱의 막강하신 하나님께 서원하였는지 기억하소서.
2 How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;
3 “저는 결단코 저의 집의 장막으로 들어오지 아니하겠으며, 저의 침상으로 올라가지도 아니하겠나이다.
3 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;
4 저는 저의 두 눈에 잠을 주지 아니하겠으며 저의 두 눈꺼풀에 졸음을 주지도 아니하겠나이다.
4 I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,
5 주를 위한 한 장소, 곧 야곱의 막강하신 하나님을 위한 한 거처를 발견해 낼 때까지 그리하겠나이다.”
5 Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.
6 보라, 우리가 에프라타에서 그것에 관하여 들었도다. 우리가 삼림에 속한 들판들 가운데서 그것을 발견하였도다.
6 Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.
7 우리가 그분의 장막들로 들어가겠노라. 우리가 그분의 발등상 앞에서 경배하겠노라.
7 We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.
8 오, 주여, 일어나시어 당신과 당신의 힘의 법궤는 당신의 안식으로 들어가소서.
8 Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.
9 당신의 제사장들이 의로 옷 입혀지게 하셔서, 당신의 성도들이 즐거움으로 환호하게 하소서.
9 Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.
10 당신의 종 다윗을 위하여 당신의 기름 부음 받은 자의 얼굴을 외면하지 마소서.
10 For thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.
11 주가 다윗에게 진리 안에서 맹세하였고, 그가 그것에서 돌이키지 아니할 것이라. 내가 너의 몸의 열매에서 난 이를 너의 보좌 위에 세우겠노라.
11 The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
12 만일 너의 자식들이 나의 언약과, 내가 그들에게 가르칠 나의 증언을 지킨다면 그들의 후손들도 영원무궁토록 너의 보좌 위에 앉으리라.
12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.
13 이는 주가 시온을 선택하였기 때문이니, 그가 그것을자신의 거처로 삼기를 열망해 왔도다.
13 For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
14 이것은 영원토록 나의 안식이 되리라. 내가 여기에 거하겠노라. 이는 내가 그것을 열망해 왔기 때문이라.
14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
15 내가 그녀의 음식물에 넘치도록 복을 주겠노라. 내가 빵으로 그녀의 가난한 자들을 만족하게 하겠노라.
15 I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.
16 또한 내가 그녀의 제사장들을 구원으로 옷 입히겠노라. 그리고 그녀의 성도들은 즐거움으로 환호하리라.
16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
17 내가 거기서 다윗의 뿔이 돋아나게 하겠노라. 내가 나의 기름 부음 받은 자를 위하여 등불 하나를 정하였도다.
17 There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.
18 내가 그의 원수들에게 수치로 옷 입히겠노라. 그러나 그의 위에 그의 왕관이 찬란하리라.
18 His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.
