시편 14편
<악장에게, 다윗의 시편>
<To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.>
1 어리석은 자가 자기 마음속에 말하기를, ‘하나님은 없다.’ 하였도다. 그들은 변질되었고, 그들은 가증한 행위들을 행하였으며, 선을 행하는 자가 아무도 없도다.
1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
2 주께서 하늘에서 사람들의 자녀들을 내려다보셨으니, 혹 알아듣고 하나님을 찾는 누군가가 있는지 살펴보려 하심이라.
2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
3 그들은 모두 탈선하였고, 그들은 모두 함께 더러운 자가 되었도다. 선을 행하는 자가 없나니, 없도다, 한 사람도 없도다.
3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
4 죄악의 일꾼들은 모두 지식이 전혀 없느냐? 죄악의 일꾼들은 자신들이 빵을 먹는 것같이 내 백성을 먹어 치우면서 주를 부르지 아니하는도다.
4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.
5 그들은 커다란 두려움 가운데 있었도다. 이는 하나님께서 의로운 자들의 세대 가운데 계시기 때문이라.
5 There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.
6 너희들은 가난한 자의 계획을 수치스럽게 하였도다. 이는 주께서 그의 피난처이시기 때문이라.
6 Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.
7 오, 이스라엘의 구원이 시온에서 나오기를 바라노라! 주께서 자신의 백성의 포로들을 다시 데려오실 때 야곱이 크게 기뻐할 것이요, 이스라엘이 반가워하리라.
7 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
