시편 115편
1 오, 주여, 영광을 우리에게 돌리지 마소서, 우리에게 돌리지 마소서. 당신의 자비와 당신의 진리로 인하여 오직 당신의 이름에만 영광을 돌리소서.
1 Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.
2 어찌 이교도들이 말하기를, “그들의 하나님이 지금 어디에 있느냐?” 해야 하나이까?
2 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?
3 그러나 우리 하나님께서는 하늘들 안에 계시나이다. 그분께서 기뻐하신 것은 무엇이나 친히 행하셨나이다.
3 But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.
4 그들의 우상들은 은과 금이요, 사람들의 손들에서 나온 작업물이니이다.
4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
5 그것들이 입은 있으나 스스로 말하지 못하나이다. 그것들이 눈은 있으나 스스로 보지 못하나이다.
5 They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
6 그것들이 귀는 있으나 스스로 듣지 못하나이다. 그것들이 코는 있으나 스스로 냄새 맡지 못하나이다.
6 They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:
7 그것들이 손은 있으나 스스로 잡지 못하나이다. 그것들이 발은 있으나 스스로 걷지 못하나이다. 또한 그것들이 자신들의 목구멍으로 말하지도 못하나이다.
7 They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
8 우상들을 만드는 자들은 우상들과 같나니, 그것들을 신뢰하는 모든 자마다 그러하도다.
8 They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.
9 오, 이스라엘아, 너는 주를 신뢰하라. 그분은 그들의 도움이시요, 그들의 방패시로다.
9 O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
10 오, 아론의 집아, 주를 신뢰하라. 그분은 그들의 도움이시요, 그들의 방패시로다.
10 O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
11 주를 두려워하는 너희는 주를 신뢰하라. 그분은 그들의 도움이시요, 그들의 방패시로다.
11 Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
12 주께서 우리를 염두에 두셨도다. 그분께서 우리에게 복을 주시리라. 그분께서 이스라엘 집에 복을 주시리라. 그분께서 아론의 집에 복을 주시리라.
12 The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.
13 그분께서 작은 자, 큰 자 할 것 없이 주를 두려워하는 자들에게 복을 주시리라.
13 He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.
14 주께서 너희, 곧 너희와 너희 자녀들을 더욱더 늘리시리라.
14 The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
15 너희는 하늘과 땅을 만드신 주께 복을 받느니라.
15 Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.
16 하늘, 곧 하늘들은 주의 것이라. 그러나 땅은 그분께서 사람들의 자녀들에게 주셨도다.
16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.
17 죽은 자들은 주를 찬송하지 않나니, 침묵 속으로 내려가는 어떤 자들도 찬송하지 않는도다.
17 The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.
18 그러나 우리는 이 시간부터 앞으로 영원무궁토록 주를 찬양하겠노라. 주를 찬송하라.
18 But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the LORD.
