시편 59편
<악장에게, 알타스킷, 다윗의 믹탐, 사울이 사람을 보내서 그들이 그를 죽이려고 그 집을 감시하였을 때>
<To the chief Musician, Altaschith, Michtam of David; when Saul sent, and they watched the house to kill him.>
1 오, 나의 하나님이여, 저의 원수들로부터 저를 구출하소서. 저를 대적하여 들고일어나는 자들로부터 저를 수호하소서.
1 Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me.
2 죄악의 일꾼들로부터 저를 구출하소서. 또 피비린내 나는 사람들로부터 저를 구원하소서.
2 Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.
3 보소서, 이는 그들이 저의 혼을 노리고 숨어 기다리고 있기 때문이니이다. 오, 주여, 막강한 자들이 저를 대적하여 모였으나 저의 불법으로 인한 것이 아니요, 저의 죄로 인한 것도 아니니이다.
3 For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.
4 제게 잘못이 없는데도 그들이 달려가 스스로 채비하나이다. 깨어서 저를 도우시고 보소서.
4 They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold.
5 오, 만군의 주 하나님이여, 그러므로 이스라엘의 하나님이신 당신께서 깨어나시어 모든 이방 민족들을 벌하소서. 사악한 불법자들 누구에게도 자비를 베풀지 마소서. 셀라.
5 Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.
6 그들이 저녁에 되돌아오나이다. 그들은 개처럼 시끄럽게 짖으며 도시 주위에서 어슬렁거리나이다.
6 They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.
7 보소서, 그들은 자신들의 입으로 말을 내뱉나이다. 칼들이 그들의 입술 안에 있나이다. 이는 그들이 말하기를, “누가 들으리오?” 하기 때문이니이다.
7 Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear?
8 그러나 오, 주여, 당신께서 그들을 비웃으시리이다. 당신께서 모든 이교도들을 향해 빈정거리시리이다.
8 But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.
9 하나님께서 나의 수호자이시므로 제가 그분의 힘으로 인하여 당신을 기다리겠나이다.
9 Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.
10 나의 자비의 하나님께서 저를 예비하시리니, 하나님께서 저의 열망이 저의 원수들 위에 임하는 것을 저로 하여금 보게 하시리이다.
10 The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.
11 저의 백성이 잊지 않도록 그들을 살해하지 마소서. 오, 우리의 방패이신 주여, 당신의 권능으로 그들을 흩으시고 그들을 낮추소서.
11 Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.
12 그들의 입의 죄와 그들의 입술의 말들로 인하여 그들이 자신들의 교만 가운데 붙잡히게 하소서. 또 그들이 내뱉은 저주와 거짓말들로 인하여 그리하소서.
12 For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.
13 진노 가운데 그들을 파멸시키소서. 그들이 없어지도록 그들을 파멸시키소서. 그리하여 하나님께서 야곱 안에서 땅의 끝들까지 다스리시는 것을 그들로 하여금 알게 하소서. 셀라.
13 Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.
14 그리하여 그들이 저녁에 되돌아오게 하소서. 또 그들이 개처럼 시끄럽게 짖으며 도시 주위에서 어슬렁거리게 하소서.
14 And at evening let them return; and let them make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.
15 그들이 음식을 위하여 위아래로 배회하게 하시고, 만일 그들이 만족하지 아니한다면 원통해하게 하소서.
15 Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied.
16 그러나 저는 당신의 권능을 노래하겠나이다. 진정 저는 아침에 당신의 자비를 크게 노래하겠나이다. 이는 당신께서 저의 곤경의 날에 저의 수호자와 피난처가 되어 오셨기 때문이니이다.
16 But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.
17 오, 나의 힘이시여, 제가 당신께 노래하겠나이다. 이는 하나님께서는 나의 수호자이시요, 나의 자비의 하나님이시기 때문이니이다.
17 Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.
