시편 16편
<다윗의 믹탐>
<Michtam of David.>
1 오, 하나님이여, 저를 보존하소서. 이는 제가 저의 신뢰를 당신께 두기 때문이니이다.
1 Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
2 오, 나의 혼아, 너는 주께 이같이 말씀드렸도다. “당신께서는 나의 주시니이다. 저의 선함이 당신께는 미치지 못하나
2 O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;
3 땅에 있는 성도들과 탁월한 자들에게는 미치나니, 저의 크나큰 즐거움이 모두 그들 안에 있나이다.”
3 But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.
4 다른 신을 서둘러 좇는 자들의 슬픔들은 크게 늘어나리이다. 저는 그들이 드리는 피의 음료 제물들을 바치지 아니하겠으며, 그들의 이름들을 제 입술에 올리지도 아니하겠나이다.
4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.
5 주께서는 저의 유산의 몫이요, 저의 잔의 몫이니이다. 당신께서 저의 분깃을 옹호하시나이다.
5 The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.
6 경계선들이 저를 위해 기쁨을 주는 곳들에 떨어지나이다. 진정 저에게는 훌륭한 상속지가 있나이다.
6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
7 저는 저에게 조언을 주신 주를 찬양하겠나이다. 저의 속마음도 밤시간들 동안 저를 지도하나이다.
7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
8 저는 주를 항상 제 앞에 모셨나이다. 그분께서 저의 오른편에 계시므로 저는 동요하지 아니하리이다.
8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
9 그러므로 제 마음이 흡족하고 저의 영광이 크게 기뻐하나이다. 저의 육체도 소망 가운데 쉬리이다.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
10 이는 당신께서 저의 혼을 지옥에 남겨 두지 아니하실 것이요, 또한 당신께서 당신의 거룩하신 분이 부패함을 보도록 내버려 두지 아니하실 것이기 때문이니이다.
10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
11 당신께서 제게 생명의 행로를 보이시리이다. 당신의 면전에는 즐거움이 충만하오니, 당신의 오른손에 영원히 기쁨들이 있나이다.
11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
