<악장에게, 다윗의 시편>
<To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.>
1 오, 주여, 악한 사람에게서 저를 구출하소서. 폭력적인 사람에게서 저를 보존하소서.
1 Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man;
2 그들은 자신들의 마음속으로 해를 가하는 것들을 구상하나니, 그들은 전쟁을 위해 지속적으로 함께 모이나이다.
2 Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war.
3 그들은 뱀처럼 자신들의 혀를 날카롭게 하였으니, 살모사들의 독이 그들의 입술 아래에 있나이다. 셀라.
3 They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders' poison is under their lips. Selah.
4 오, 주여, 사악한 자의 두 손으로부터 저를 지키소서. 그 폭력적인 사람에게서 저를 보존하소서. 그들이 저의 행보들을 뒤집어엎으려고 결단하였나이다.
4 Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.
5 교만한 자들이 저를 노리고 올무와 끈들을 숨겨 두었나이다. 그들은 길가에서 그물을 펼쳤으니, 그들이 저를 노리고 덫들을 배치하였나이다. 셀라.
5 The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.
6 제가 주께 말씀드리기를, “당신께서는 나의 하나님이시니이다.” 하였나이다. 오, 주여, 저의 간구들의 음성을 들으소서.
6 I said unto the LORD, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD.
7 오, 주이신 하나님이여, 저의 구원의 힘이여, 당신께서 전투의 날에 저의 머리를 덮으셨나이다.
7 O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.
8 오, 주여, 사악한 자의 욕망들을 허락하지 마소서. 그의 사악한 계책을 진척시키지 마소서. 그들이 자신들을 크게 높일까 하나이다. 셀라.
8 Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.
9 저의 주변을 둘러싸는 자들의 머리로 말하자면, 그들 자신의 입술의 해로움이 그들을 덮게 하소서.
9 As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.
10 타는 숯들이 그들 위에 떨어지게 하소서. 그들이 불속으로 던져지게 하시고 깊은 구렁들로 던져져서 다시는 그들이 일어나지 못하게 하소서.
10 Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.
11 어떤 악담하는 자도 땅 안에서 확고히 서지 못하게 하소서. 해악이 폭력적인 사람을 사냥하여 그를 뒤집어엎으리이다.
11 Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.
12 주께서 고난받는 자의 소송과 가난한 자들의 권리를 옹호하실 것을 제가 아나이다.
12 I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.
13 분명히 의로운 자들은 당신의 이름에 감사들을 드릴 것이요, 올바른 자들은 당신의 면전에서 거하리이다.
13 Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.
