시편 58편
<악장에게, 알타스킷, 다윗의 믹탐>
<To the chief Musician, Altaschith, Michtam of David.>
1 오, 회중이여, 너희는 정녕 의를 말하느냐? 오, 너희, 사람들의 아들들이여, 너희는 올바르게 판단하느냐?
1 Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
2 진정, 너희는 마음속에 사악함을 이루는도다. 너희는 땅에서 너희 손의 폭력을 저울질하는도다.
2 Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.
3 사악한 자들은 태에서부터 벗어났도다. 그들은 태어나자마자 거짓말들을 내뱉으니 그들이 길을 이탈하는도다.
3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.
4 그들의 독은 뱀의 독과 같도다. 그들은 그녀의 귀를 틀어막는 귀먹은 살모사와 같도다.
4 Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;
5 그것은 주술사들이 아무리 지혜롭게 주술을 걸어도 그 음성에 경청하려 하지 아니하리라.
5 Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.
6 오, 하나님이여, 그들의 입안에 있는 그들의 이를 부러뜨리소서. 오, 주여, 젊은 사자들의 커다란 이빨들을 부러뜨리소서.
6 Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD.
7 그들이 지속적으로 흘러가는 물들같이 녹아 없어지게 하소서. 그가 자신의 화살들을 쏘려고 자신의 활을 구부릴 때 그것들이 산산조각난 것처럼 되게 하소서.
7 Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.
8 마치 달팽이가 녹듯이 그들이 모두 저마다 없어지게 하소서. 여자에게서 유산된 자같이 그들이 해를 보지 못하게 하소서.
8 As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.
9 너희의 냄비들이 가시들을 느낄 수 있기도 전에, 그분께서 그들을 회오리바람으로 하시듯 제거하시리니, 곧 산 자와 자신의 진노 가운데 있는 자 모두를 그리하시리라.
9 Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.
10 의로운 자는 그가 복수를 볼 때 크게 기뻐하리라. 그는 자신의 두 발을 사악한 자의 피로 씻으리라.
10 The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
11 그렇기에 어떤 사람이 말하기를, “진실로 의로운 자를 위한 보상이 있도다. 진실로 그분은 땅에서 심판하시는 한 하나님이시로다.” 하리라.
11 So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.
