<A Song of degrees.>
1 내가 나의 괴로움 속에서 주께 부르짖었더니, 그분께서 나의 말을 들으셨도다.
1 In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.
2 오, 주여, 거짓말하는 입술과 속임수로 가득한 혀로부터 저의 혼을 구출하소서.
2 Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
3 너, 거짓된 혀야, 무엇이 너에게 주어지겠느냐? 아니면 무엇이 너에게 행하여지겠느냐?
3 What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?
4 향나무의 숯들과 더불어 막강한 자의 예리한 화살들이로다.
4 Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.
5 내가 메섹에 체류하는 것과 내가 케달의 천막들에 거하는 것은 나에게 화로다!
5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
6 화평을 증오하는 자와 함께 나의 혼이 오랫동안 거하여 왔도다.
6 My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
7 나는 화평을 추구하는도다. 그러나 내가 말할 때 그들은 전쟁을 추구하는도다.
7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
