<다윗의 집의 봉헌식 때의 시편과 노래>
<A Psalm and Song at the dedication of the house of David.>
1 오, 주여, 제가 당신을 칭송하겠나이다. 이는 당신께서 저를 들어 올리셨고 저의 적들이 저를 이겨서 크게 기뻐하지 못하게 하셨기 때문이니이다.
1 I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
2 오, 주 나의 하나님이여, 제가 당신께 부르짖었더니, 당신께서 저를 치유하셨나이다.
2 O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
3 오, 주여, 당신께서 저의 혼을 음부에서 데리고 올라오셨나이다. 당신께서 제가 구렁으로 내려가지 아니하도록 저를 살려 두셨나이다.
3 O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
4 오, 너희, 그분의 성도들아, 주께 노래하고 그분의 거룩하심을 기억함으로 감사들을 드리라.
4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
5 이는 그분의 분노가 한순간만 지속되기 때문이라. 그분의 호의 안에 생명이 있도다. 울음은 하룻밤 지속될 수 있으나 아침에는 즐거움이 임하는도다.
5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
6 그런즉 내가 나의 번영 가운데 말하기를, “나는 결코 동요하지 아니하리라.” 하였도다.
6 And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.
7 주여, 당신의 호의로 말미암아 당신께서 저의 산을 굳건히 서게 하셨나이다. 당신께서 당신의 얼굴을 숨기셨기에 제가 곤경에 빠졌나이다.
7 LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
8 오, 주여, 제가 당신께 부르짖었나이다. 그리고 주께 제가 간구를 드렸나이다.
8 I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.
9 제가 구렁으로 내려갈 때 제 피에 무슨 유익이 있나이까? 진토가 당신을 찬송하리이까? 그것이 당신의 진리를 선언하리이까?
9 What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?
10 오, 주여, 들으시고 제게 자비를 베푸소서. 주여, 당신께서는 나의 돕는 분이 되어 주소서.
10 Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.
11 당신께서 저를 위하여 저의 애곡을 춤으로 바꾸셨나이다. 당신께서 저의 굵은 베를 벗기셨고 흡족함으로 저에게 띠를 두르셨나이다.
11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
12 이는 제 영광이 당신께 찬송하고 잠잠하지 않게 하기 위함이니이다. 오, 주 나의 하나님이여, 제가 당신께 영원토록 감사들을 드리겠나이다.
12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
