시편 27편
<다윗의 시편>
<A Psalm of David.>
1 주께서는 나의 빛이시요, 나의 구원이시니, 내가 누구를 두려워하랴? 주께서는 나의 생명의 힘이시니, 내가 누구를 무서워하랴?
1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 사악한 자들, 곧 나의 원수들과 나의 적들이 나의 살을 먹어 삼키려고 나에게 왔을 때 그들이 걸려 넘어지고 쓰러졌도다.
2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3 군대가 나를 대적하여 주둔할지라도 나의 마음은 두려워하지 아니하리라. 전쟁이 나를 대적하여 일어날지라도 나는 이 전쟁 가운데서 자신만만하리라.
3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
4 내가 주께 갈구해 온 한 가지를 내가 추구하겠노라. 이는 나의 생애의 모든 날들 동안 내가 주의 집 안에서 거하려 함이니, 주의 아름다움을 보고 그분의 성전 안에서 여쭙고자 함이라.
4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
5 이는 곤경의 날에 그분께서 나를 그분의 막사 안에 숨기실 것이요, 그분께서 나를 그분의 성막의 은밀한 곳 안에 숨기실 것이며, 그분께서 나를 반석 위에 세우실 것이기 때문이라.
5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
6 그리하여 이제 나의 머리는 내 주위에 있는 나의 원수들 위로 들어 올려지리라. 그러므로 내가 그분의 성막 안에서 즐거움의 희생 제물들을 바치겠노라. 나는 노래하겠으니, 진정 나는 주께 찬송들을 노래하겠노라.
6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
7 오, 주여, 제가 저의 목소리로 부르짖을 때 들어 주소서. 저에게도 자비를 베풀어 주시고, 제게 응답하여 주소서.
7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
8 당신께서 말씀하시기를, “너희는 나의 얼굴을 찾으라.” 하셨을 때 저의 마음이 당신께 말씀드리기를, “주여, 제가 당신의 얼굴을 찾겠나이다.” 하였나이다.
8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.
9 당신의 얼굴을 저에게서 멀리 숨겨 두지 마소서. 당신의 종을 분노 가운데 치워 버리지 마소서. 당신께서는 나의 도움이셨나이다. 오, 나의 구원의 하나님이여, 저를 떠나지 마시고, 저를 저버리지도 마소서.
9 Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
10 제 아버지와 제 어머니가 저를 저버릴 때도, 주께서는 그때 저를 거두어 들이실 것이니이다.
10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
11 오, 주여, 저에게 당신의 길을 가르치소서. 또 저의 원수들로 인하여 저를 순탄한 행로로 이끄소서.
11 Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.
12 저의 원수들의 뜻에 저를 넘겨주지 마소서. 이는 거짓 증인들과 잔인함을 내뿜는 그런 자들이 저를 대적하여 일어났기 때문이니이다.
12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
13 제가 산 자들의 지역에서 주의 선하심을 볼 것이라 믿지 아니하였더라면 저는 실신하였으리이다.
13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
14 주를 기다리라. 훌륭한 용기를 내라. 그리하면 그분께서 너의 마음에 힘을 주시리라. 내가 말하노니, 주를 기다리라.
14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
