시편 97편
1 주께서 통치하시는도다. 땅은 크게 기뻐할지어다. 땅의 많은 섬들은 반가워할지어다.
1 The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.
2 구름들과 어둠이 그분의 주위에 있도다. 의와 공의는 그분의 보좌의 거처로다.
2 Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.
3 불이 그분 앞에서 나가 그분의 원수들을 둘러싼 채 태워 버리는도다.
3 A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.
4 그분의 번개들이 세상에 빛을 비추었도다. 땅이 보고 떨었도다.
4 His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.
5 언덕들이 주의 면전에서, 곧 온 땅의 주의 면전에서 밀초처럼 녹아내렸도다.
5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
6 하늘들이 그분의 의를 선언하나니, 모든 백성들이 그분의 영광을 보는도다.
6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.
7 새겨진 형상들을 섬기는 자들과 우상들을 자랑하는 모든 자들은 당혹스러워할지어다. 너희, 모든 신들아, 그분을 경배하라.
7 Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.
8 시온이 들었고 반가워하였도다. 오, 주여, 당신의 공의로운 법규들로 인하여 유다의 딸들이 크게 기뻐하였나이다.
8 Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.
9 이는 주여, 당신께서는 온 땅보다 높으시기 때문이니이다. 당신께서는 모든 신들보다 훨씬 더 크게 높여지시나이다.
9 For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.
10 주를 사랑하는 너희여, 악을 증오하라. 그분께서 자신의 성도들의 혼들을 보존하시는도다. 그분께서 사악한 자들의 손에서 그들을 구출하시는도다.
10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
11 의로운 자를 위하여 빛이 뿌려지나니, 마음이 올바른 자를 위하여 희열이 뿌려지는도다.
11 Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
12 너희, 의로운 자들아, 주를 크게 기뻐하라. 그리하여 그분의 거룩함을 기억하며 감사들을 드리라.
12 Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
