시편 138편
<다윗의 시편>
<A Psalm of David.>
1 제가 저의 온 마음으로 당신을 찬송하겠나이다. 신들 앞에서 제가 당신께 찬송을 노래하겠나이다.
1 I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2 저는 당신의 거룩한 전을 향하여 경배하고, 당신의 인애하심과 당신의 진리로 인하여 당신의 이름을 찬송하겠나이다. 이는 당신께서 당신의 모든 이름 위에 당신의 말씀을 드높이셨기 때문이니이다.
2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3 제가 부르짖던 날에 당신께서 저에게 응답하셨고, 저의 혼 안에 힘을 주시어 저를 강건하게 하셨나이다.
3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4 오, 주여, 땅의 모든 왕들이 당신의 입의 말씀들을 들을 때 그들은 당신을 찬송하리이다.
4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5 진정 그들이 주의 길들 안에서 노래하리니, 주의 영광이 위대하기 때문이니이다.
5 Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6 비록 주께서는 높이 계시나 그럼에도 그분께서는 낮은 자에게 관심을 가지시는도다. 반면에 교만한 자는 그분께서 멀리서도 아시는도다.
6 Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7 제가 곤경 가운데 살아갈지라도 당신께서 저를 다시 살리시리이다. 당신께서 저의 원수들의 진노를 대적하여 당신의 손을 뻗으시리니, 당신의 오른손이 저를 구원하시리이다.
7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8 주께서 저에 관한 것을 완전하게 하시리이다. 오, 주여, 당신의 자비가 영원토록 지속되나이다. 당신 자신의 두 손들로 지으신 것들을 버리지 마소서.
8 The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
