시편 116편
1 나는 주를 사랑하는도다. 이는 그분께서 나의 음성과 나의 간구들을 들어 오셨기 때문이라.
1 I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
2 이는 그분께서 자신의 귀를 나에게 기울이셨기 때문이니, 그러므로 내가 사는 동안 나는 그분을 부르겠노라.
2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
3 죽음의 슬픔들이 나를 둘러쌌고, 지옥의 아픔들이 나를 붙들었도다. 내가 곤경과 슬픔을 발견하였도다.
3 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
4 그때 나는 주의 이름을 불렀도다. “오, 주여, 제가 당신께 간청하오니, 저의 혼을 구출하소서.”
4 Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
5 주께서는 은혜로우시고 의로우시도다. 진정 우리 하나님께서는 자비로우시도다.
5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
6 주께서는 순전한 자를 보존하시는도다. 내가 낮추어졌으나, 그분께서 나를 도우셨도다.
6 The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
7 오, 나의 혼아, 너의 안식으로 되돌아가라. 이는 주께서 너를 후대하셨기 때문이라.
7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
8 이는 당신께서 저의 혼을 죽음에서, 저의 두 눈을 눈물들에서, 저의 두 발을 쓰러짐에서 구출하셨기 때문이니이다.
8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
9 제가 산 자들의 지역 가운데 주 앞에서 살아가겠나이다.
9 I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
10 내가 믿었으므로 나는 말하였으나, 내가 크나큰 고난을 받았도다.
10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
11 내가 나의 황급함 가운데 말하기를, “모든 사람들은 거짓말쟁이들이라.” 하였도다.
11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.
12 나를 향하신 그분의 모든 은총들로 인하여 나는 주께 무엇을 돌려드릴까?
12 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
13 나는 구원의 잔을 들고 주의 이름을 부르겠노라.
13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
14 나는 그분의 모든 백성의 면전에서 이제 나의 서원들을 주께 갚겠노라.
14 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.
15 주의 성도들의 죽음은 그분의 목전에 보배롭도다.
15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
16 오, 주여, 참으로 저는 당신의 종이니이다. 저는 당신의 종이요, 당신의 몸종의 아들이니이다. 당신께서 저의 결박들을 푸셨나이다.
16 O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
17 제가 당신께 감사들을 드리는 희생 제물을 바치고 주의 이름을 부르겠나이다.
17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
18 내가 이제 나의 서원들을 주께 갚겠으니, 그분의 온 백성의 면전에서요,
18 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,
19 주의 집의 뜰들에서요, 오, 예루살렘아, 너의 한가운데서라. 너희는 주를 찬송하라.
19 In the courts of the LORD'S house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
