다니엘서 12장

1 그리고 그때 너의 백성의 자녀들을 위하여 맞서는 위대한 통치자 미카엘이 일어서리라. 그리고 곤경의 때가 있으리라. 그러한 때는 민족이 존재한 이래 심지어 바로 그때까지도 결코 없었던 때라. 그리고 그때 너의 백성이 구출되리니, 그 책 안에서 기록되어 발견될 모든 자마다 그러하리라.

1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

2 그리고 땅의 진토 가운데 잠자는 자들의 많은 수가 깨어나리니, 얼마는 영원한 생명에 이르고, 얼마는 수치와 영원한 모멸에 이르리라.

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

3 그리하여 지혜로운 자들은 궁창의 광명같이 빛나리라. 그리고 많은 이들을 의로 돌이키는 자들은 별들같이 영원무궁토록 빛나리라.

3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

4 그러나 오, 다니엘아, 너는 그 끝이 오는 때가 이르기까지 그 말들을 닫고 그 책을 봉인하라. 많은 이들이 이리저리 달릴 것이요, 지식이 증가하리라.”

4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

5 ¶ 그때 나, 다니엘이 바라보았더니, 보라, 다른 두 사람이 섰는데 한 명은 강둑 이편에 서고 다른 한 명은 강둑 저편에 섰더라.

5 ¶ Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.

6 그리고 한 명이 아마포 옷이 입혀진 채 강물들 위에 있었던 사람에게 말하기를, “이러한 이적들의 끝까지는 얼마나 걸리겠는가?” 하였더라.

6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

7 그러자 아마포 옷이 입혀진 채 강물들 위에 있던 사람의 말을 내가 들었으니, 그가 자기 오른손과 자기 왼손을 하늘로 들고 영원토록 살아 계시는 분을 두고 맹세하기를, “그것은 한 때와 두 때와 반 때가 걸리리라. 그리고 그분께서 거룩한 백성의 권세를 흩으시는 것을 성취하실 때 이 모든 것들이 완료되리라.” 하였을 때라.

7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

8 그리하여 내가 들었으나 나는 이해하지 못하였더라. 그때 내가 말씀드리기를, “오, 나의 주여, 이러한 일들의 끝은 무엇이니이까?” 하였더라.

8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

9 그러자 그분께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “다니엘아, 너의 길을 가라. 이는 그 종말의 때가 오기까지 그 말씀들은 닫혀 있고 봉인되어 있기 때문이라.

9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

10 많은 이들이 정화되고 희게 되며 정련되리라. 그러나 사악한 자들은 사악하게 행할 것이요, 사악한 자들 중에서는 아무도 이해하지 못하리라. 반면에 지혜로운 자들은 이해하리라.

10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

11 그리고 매일의 희생 제물이 제거될 때와 황량하게 만드는 가증함이 세워지는 때부터 일천이백구십 일이 있으리라.

11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

12 기다려서 그 일천삼백삼십오 일에 이르는 자는 복되도다.

12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

13 그러나 너는 그 끝이 있을 때까지 너의 길을 가라. 이는 네가 안식할 것이요, 그날들의 끝에 너의 분깃 안에 설 것이기 때문이라.”

13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
