1 이뿐만 아니라 주의 말씀이 나에게 임하였으니, 이같이 말씀하셨느니라.
1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 “너, 사람의 아들아, 또한 주 하나님이 이스라엘 지역에 이같이 말하노라. 끝이로다. 그 끝이 그 지역의 네 모퉁이들 위에 임하였도다.
2 Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.
3 이제 그 끝이 너의 위에 임하였으니, 내가 나의 분노를 너의 위에 보낼 것이요, 너의 길들에 따라 너를 심판할 것이며, 너의 모든 가증한 것들을 너의 위로 갚아 주겠노라.
3 Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.
4 그리고 나의 눈은 너를 아끼지 아니할 것이요, 나는 동정심을 가지지도 아니하겠노라. 오직 나는 너의 길들을 너의 위에 갚겠으니, 너의 가증스러운 것들이 너의 한복판에 있으리라. 그리하면 너희는 내가 주라는 것을 알게 되리라.
4 And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
5 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 보라, 해악이, 오직 해악만이 임하였도다.
5 Thus saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.
6 끝이 임하였으니, 그 끝이 임하였도다. 그것이 너를 지켜보나니, 보라, 그것이 임하였도다.
6 An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.
7 오, 너, 그 지역에 거하는 자야, 아침이 너에게 임하였도다. 그때가 임하였고, 곤경의 날이 가까우니, 그날은 산들이 소리를 되울리는 날이 아니로다.
7 The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.
8 이제 내가 속히 나의 노여움을 너의 위에 쏟아붓고, 나의 분노를 너의 위에 이행하겠노라. 그리고 내가 너의 길들에 따라 너를 심판하겠고, 너의 모든 가증한 것들로 인하여 너에게 갚겠노라.
8 Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.
9 그리고 나의 눈이 아끼지 아니할 것이요, 내가 동정하지도 아니하겠노라. 내가 너의 길들과 너의 한복판에 있는 너의 가증한 것들에 따라 너에게 갚겠노라. 그리하면 너희는 내가 너희를 치는 주라는 것을 알리라.
9 And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth.
10 그날을 보라. 보라, 그날이 임하였도다. 아침이 나가버렸도다. 그 막대기가 꽃을 피웠고, 교만이 싹을 틔웠도다.
10 Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.
11 폭력이 일어나 사악함의 막대기 속으로 들어갔도다. 그들 중 아무도, 그들의 무리 중 아무도, 그들의 소유 중 어떤 것도 남아 있지 아니하리라. 그들을 위하여 통곡하는 일도 없으리라.
11 Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them.
12 그때가 임하였고, 그날이 가까이 다가오는도다. 사는 자는 크게 기뻐하지 말고, 파는 자도 애곡하지 말라. 이는 진노가 그곳의 온 무리 위에 있기 때문이라.
12 The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
13 이는 비록 그들이 여전히 살아 있다 할지라도 매도하는 자가 그 매도된 것을 되사지 못할 것이기 때문이라. 이는 그 현시가 그곳의 무리 전체와 관련되어 있으니, 그들이 되사지 못할 것이며, 또한 누구도 자기 인생의 죄악 가운데서 스스로를 강성하게 하지 못할 것이기 때문이라.
13 For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
14 그들이 나팔을 불어 드디어 모든 준비를 마쳤도다. 그러나 아무도 전투에 나가지 않는도다. 이는 나의 진노가 그곳의 온 무리 위에 있기 때문이라.
14 They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
15 밖에는 칼이 있고 안에는 역병과 기근이 있도다. 들에 있는 자는 칼로 죽고, 도시 안에 있는 자는 기근과 역병이 그를 집어삼키리라.
15 The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
16 ¶ 그러나 그들 중 탈출하는 자들은 탈출하여 골짜기들의 비둘기들처럼 산들 위에 있을 것이요, 그들 모두가 애곡하리니, 모두 저마다 자기 죄악으로 인하여 애곡하리라.
16 ¶ But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.
17 모든 손들은 나약해질 것이요, 모든 무릎들은 물같이 약해지리라.
17 All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.
18 또한 그들은 굵은 베로 자기 몸을 동여맬 것이요, 오싹함이 그들을 덮으리라. 그리고 수치가 모든 얼굴들 위에 있고, 그들의 머리는 모두 대머리가 되리라.
18 They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.
19 그들은 자신들의 은을 거리들에다 던져 버릴 것이요, 그들의 금은 옮겨지리라. 그들의 은과 그들의 금은 주의 진노의 날에 그들을 능히 구출하지 못하리라. 그들이 자신들의 혼들을 만족시키지 못할 것이요, 자신들의 내면도 채우지 못하리라. 이는 그것이 걸려 넘어지게 하는 자기들 죄악의 장애물이기 때문이라.
19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.
20 ¶ 그의 장식의 아름다움으로 말하자면, 그는 그것을 존엄 가운데 세웠도다. 그러나 그 속에서 그들이 자신들의 가증함들과 자신들의 혐오스러운 것들에 속하는 형상들을 만들었도다. 그러므로 내가 그것을 그들에게서 멀리 세웠도다.
20 ¶ As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.
21 그리고 내가 그것을 타국인들의 손에 전리품으로, 땅의 사악한 자들에게 노획물로 주겠노라. 그리하면 그들이 그것을 오염시키리라.
21 And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.
22 또한 내가 그들에게서 나의 얼굴을 돌리겠으니, 그들은 나의 비밀스러운 처소를 오염시키리라. 이는 강도들이 그곳으로 침입하여 그곳을 오염시킬 것이기 때문이라.
22 My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.
23 ¶ 사슬을 만들라. 이는 그 지역이 피비린내 나는 범행들로 가득하고, 그 도시가 폭력으로 가득하기 때문이라.
23 ¶ Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.
24 이러한 이유로 내가 이교도들 중에서 가장 악랄한 자들을 데려오겠노라. 그리하면 그 이교도들이 그들의 집들을 소유하리라. 또한 내가 강한 자들의 화려한 행렬을 그치게 하겠노라. 그리하면 그들의 거룩한 처소들이 더럽혀지리라.
24 Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.
25 멸망이 오는도다. 그런즉 그들이 화평을 구할 것이나 아무것도 없으리라.
25 Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.
26 해로움이 해로움 위에 임할 것이요, 소문이 소문 위에 있으리라. 그때 그들은 예언자의 현시를 찾으리라. 그러나 제사장에게서는 율법이, 원로들에게서는 조언이 사라지리라.
26 Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.
27 왕은 애곡할 것이요, 통치자는 황량함으로 옷 입을 것이요, 그 지역의 백성의 손들은 곤경을 당하리라. 나는 그들의 길대로 그들에게 행하겠으며, 나는 그들이 마땅히 받아야 하는 것들에 따라 그들을 심판하겠노라. 그리하면 그들은 내가 주라는 것을 알게 되리라.”
27 The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
