1 이는 보라, 주, 곧 만군의 주께서 예루살렘으로부터, 또 유다로부터 버팀목과 버팀대를 제거하시기 때문이니, 곧 버팀목이 되는 빵 전체와 버팀목이 되는 물 전체요,
1 For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water,
2 막강한 남자와 전사요, 판관과 예언자와 신중한 자와 원로와
2 The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient,
3 오십인대장과 귀인과 조언자와 기교 있는 장인과 유창한 연설가라.
3 The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.
4 그런 다음에 내가 아이들을 그들의 통치자들이 되도록 주겠으니, 아기들이 그들을 다스리리라.
4 And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.
5 그리하면 백성은 압제를 받으리니, 각자 다른 사람들에 의하여, 또 각자 자기 이웃에 의하여 압제를 받으리라. 아이는 원로를 대적하여, 천한 자는 존귀한 자를 대적하여 스스로 교만하게 처신하리라.
5 And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.
6 어떤 사람이 그의 아버지 가문에 속한 자기 형제를 붙들면서 말하기를, “너에게 옷이 있으니, 너는 우리의 치리자가 되라. 그리하여 이 폐허가 너의 손 아래에 있게 하라.” 할 때인
6 When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand:
7 그날에 그가 맹세하며 말하기를, “나는 치유자가 되지 아니하겠노라. 이는 나의 집에는 빵도 없고, 입을 옷도 없기 때문이라. 나를 백성의 치리자로 삼지 말라.” 하리라.
7 In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.
8 이는 예루살렘이 폐허가 되었고 유다가 무너졌기 때문이니, 그들의 혀와 그들의 처사들이 주를 대적하여 그분의 영광의 눈들을 격분시킨 까닭이라.
8 For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.
9 ¶ 그들의 용모의 외양이 그들을 대적하여 증거하는도다. 그런즉 그들이 소돔같이 자신들의 죄를 선언하나니, 그들은 죄를 숨기지 아니하는도다. 그들의 혼에 화가 있기를 바라노라! 이는 그들이 자신들에게 악으로 보응하였기 때문이라.
9 ¶ The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
10 너희는 의로운 자에게 그가 잘될 것이라고 말하라. 이는 그들이 행하는 것들의 열매를 그들이 먹을 것이기 때문이라.
10 Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
11 사악한 자에게 화가 있기를 바라노라! 그가 잘못되리라. 이는 그의 두 손의 보응이 그에게 주어질 것이기 때문이라.
11 Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
12 ¶ 나의 백성으로 말하자면, 아이들이 그들의 압제자들이요, 여자들이 그들을 다스리는도다. 오, 나의 백성아, 너를 이끄는 자들이 너로 하여금 잘못을 범하게 하고, 너의 행로들의 길을 파괴하는도다.
12 ¶ As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
13 주가 변호하려고 일어서며, 백성을 심판하려고 서는도다.
13 The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.
14 주가 그의 백성의 원로들과 그곳의 통치자들과 함께 재판으로 들어가리라. 이는 너희가 포도원을 먹어 치웠기 때문이라. 가난한 자에게서 뺏은 약탈물이 너희의 집들 안에 있도다.
14 The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.
15 너희가 내 백성을 쳐서 산산조각 내며, 가난한 자들의 얼굴에 맷돌질하나니, 너희가 뜻하는 바가 무엇이냐? 만군의 주 하나님이 말하노라.
15 What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
16 ¶ 이와 더불어 주가 말하노라. 이는 시온의 딸들이 다니는 동안 그들이 걷고 종종걸음을 하며, 그들의 발로는 짤랑대는 소리를 내면서 거만하고 한껏 뻗은 목과 음욕을 품은 눈으로 걷기 때문이라.
16 ¶ Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:
17 그러므로 주가 시온의 딸들의 정수리를 딱지로 치겠으며, 주가 그들의 비밀스러운 부위들을 드러내리라.
17 Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.
18 그날에 주가 그들의 발 주위에서 짤랑대는 그들의 장식들과, 그들의 머리 망들과, 그들의 달처럼 둥근 머리 장식들의 호화스러움을 제거할 것이요,
18 In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,
19 목걸이들과 팔찌들과 목에 두르는 천들과
19 The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,
20 두건들과 다리들의 장식들과 머리띠들과 납작한 패물들과 귀고리들과
20 The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,
21 반지들과 코 장신구들과
21 The rings, and nose jewels,
22 갈아입을 수 있는 여러 벌의 의관들과 덧옷들과 머리 가리개들과 머리카락을 곱슬거리게 하는 핀들과
22 The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins,
23 유리 거울들과 고운 아마포들과 머리쓰개들과 너울들을 제거하리라.
23 The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.
24 또한 이러한 일이 있으리니, 감미로운 냄새를 썩은내가 대신할 것이요, 허리띠를 찢어진 것이 대신할 것이요, 잘 매만진 머리를 대머리가 대신할 것이요, 앞가슴 장식을 굵은 베를 두른 것이 대신할 것이요, 아름다움을 불탄 것이 대신하리라.
24 And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.
25 너의 장정들은 칼에 쓰러지고, 너의 막강한 자들은 전쟁에서 쓰러지리라.
25 Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.
26 그리고 그녀의 성문들은 애통해하고 애곡하리라. 또 황량해진 그녀가 땅바닥 위에 주저앉으리라.
26 And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground.
