마가복음 2장

1 그러고 나서 며칠 뒤에 그분께서 다시금 가버나움으로 들어가셨으니, 그분께서 그 집 안에 계신다는 소문이 퍼졌더라.

1 And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.

2 그러자 많은 이들이 즉각 한데 모였는데 그들을 받아들일 공간이 전혀 없을 정도였고, 문 근처에조차 없었으니, 전혀 없었더라. 이에 그분께서 그들에게 말씀을 선포하셨더라.

2 And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.

3 그런데 그들이 중풍병 환자 한 명을 데리고 그분께로 왔는데 그가 네 명에 의하여 옮겨졌더라.

3 And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.

4 그러다가 그들이 인파로 인하여 그분께 가까이 나아올 수 없자, 그분께서 계신 곳의 지붕을 그들이 뜯었더라. 그리고 그들이 그것을 부순 후에 그 중풍병 환자가 누운 그 침상을 그들이 내렸더라.

4 And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.

5 예수님께서 그들의 믿음을 보시자 그분께서 그 중풍병 환자에게 말씀하시기를, “아들아, 너의 죄들이 너에게서 용서되기를 바라노라.” 하셨더라.

5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.

6 그러나 서기관들 중 어떤 자들이 거기에 앉아 있었는데 자신들의 마음속으로 따지기를,

6 But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,

7 ‘어찌하여 이 사람이 그처럼 신성 모독적인 말들을 하는가? 오직 하나님 외에 죄들을 용서할 수 있는 이가 누구란 말인가?’ 하였더라.

7 Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?

8 그러자 예수님께서 자신의 영으로 그들이 그처럼 자기들 안에서 따진 것을 아셨을 때 그분께서 즉시 그들에게 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “어찌하여 너희는 너희의 마음속에 이런 것들을 따지느냐?

8 And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?

9 그 중풍병 환자에게 어떤 것을 말하는 것이 더 쉽겠느냐? ‘너의 죄들이 네게서 용서되기를 바라노라.’ 하는 것이냐, 아니면 ‘일어나서 너의 침상을 들고 걸어가라.’ 하고 말하는 것이냐?

9 Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?

10 그러나 이는 인자가 땅에서 죄들을 용서하는 권능을 가지고 있음을 너희로 하여금 알게 하려 함이라. (그분께서 그 중풍병 환자에게 말씀하시기를,)

10 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)

11 내가 너에게 말하노니, ‘일어나서 너의 침상을 들고 네 집 안으로 너의 길을 가라.’” 하시더라.

11 I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.

12 그러자 즉시 그가 일어나서 침상을 들고 그들 모두 앞에서 나아갔더라. 그들이 모두 하나님께 영광을 돌릴 정도로 놀라서 말하기를, “우리는 이런 식의 일을 결단코 본 적이 없도다.” 하였더라.

12 And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.

13 그런 다음에 그분께서 다시금 해변가로 나가셨는데 그분께 온 무리가 모여들었더라. 이에 그분께서 그들을 가르치셨더라.

13 And he went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them.

14 그리고 그분께서 지나가실 때, 관세를 받는 곳에 앉아 있는 알패오의 아들 레위를 그분께서 보시고 그에게 말씀하시기를, “나를 따르라.” 하셨더라. 그러자 그가 일어나 그분을 따랐더라.

14 And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

15 그런 다음에 이러한 일이 있었으니, 예수님께서 그의 집 안에 앉아 식사하고 계셨을 때 많은 세리들과 죄인들 역시 예수님과 그분의 제자들과 함께 앉았더라. 이는 많은 이들이 거기에 있었고 그들이 그분을 따랐기 때문이라.

15 And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at meat in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him.

16 그런데 서기관들과 바리새파 사람들이 그분께서 세리들과 죄인들과 함께 드시는 것을 보았을 때, 그들이 그분의 제자들에게 말하기를, “그가 세리들과 죄인들과 함께 먹고 마시니 어찌 된 것이냐?” 하였더라.

16 And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners?

17 예수님께서 그것을 들으셨을 때 친히 그들에게 말씀하시기를, “온전한 자들은 의사가 전혀 필요 없으나 병든 자들은 필요하니라. 나는 의로운 자들을 부르러 온 것이 아니요, 다만 죄인들을 불러 회개에 이르게 하려고 왔노라.” 하셨느니라.

17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

18 그런데 요한의 제자들과 바리새파 사람들의 제자들은 금식하곤 하더라. 그런즉 그들이 그분께 나아와 말씀드리기를, “요한의 제자들과 바리새파 사람들의 제자들은 금식하는데 어찌하여 당신의 제자들은 금식하지 아니하나이까?” 하니라.

18 And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they come and say unto him, Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not?

19 이에 예수님께서 그들에게 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “신랑이 혼인 방의 아이들과 함께 있는 동안 그들이 금식할 수 있겠느냐? 그들이 신랑을 자기들 곁에 두는 한은 그들이 금식할 수 없느니라.

19 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.

20 그러나 그들이 신랑을 빼앗기게 될 날들이 오리니, 그리하면 그때 그들은 그날들에 금식하리라.

20 But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.

21 또한 새 옷감에서 난 조각을 오래된 의복 위에 꿰매는 사람은 아무도 없나니, 그렇게 하면 그것을 메웠던 새 조각이 오래된 것을 손상하여 그 찢어짐이 더 악화되느니라.

21 No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse.

22 그리고 새 포도즙을 오래된 부대들에 넣는 사람은 아무도 없나니, 그렇게 하면 새 포도즙이 그 부대들을 터트려서 그 포도즙도 흐르게 되고 그 부대들도 손상되리라. 새 포도즙은 오직 새 부대들 안에만 담겨야 하느니라.”

22 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.

23 그러고 나서 이러한 일이 있었으니, 그분께서 안식일에 곡식 밭들을 통과하여 가셨더라. 그런데 그분의 제자들이 그들이 가는 동안 곡식의 이삭들을 떼기 시작하였더라.

23 And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.

24 그러자 바리새파 사람들이 그분께 말씀드리기를, “보소서, 어찌하여 저들은 안식일에 합법적이지 아니한 것을 행하나이까?” 하였더라.

24 And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?

25 이에 그분께서 그들에게 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “다윗 자신이 곤경에 처하고 배고팠을 때, 그와 자신과 함께하던 자들이 행했던 것을 너희는 전혀 읽어 본 적이 없느냐?

25 And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?

26 그가 대제사장 아비아달의 날들에 하나님의 집 안으로 어떻게 들어갔으며, 제사장들 외에는 먹는 것이 합법적이지 않은 진열하는 빵을 먹었고, 그와 함께한 자들에게도 주었다는 것을 읽어 본 적이 없느냐?”

26 How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?

27 그리고 그분께서 그들에게 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “안식일은 사람을 위하여 만들어진 것이요, 사람이 안식일을 위하여 만들어진 것이 아니니라.

27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

28 그러므로 인자는 또한 안식일의 주로다.”

28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
