1 솔로몬이 주의 집을 위하여 만든 모든 작업물이 이와 같이 완성되었더라. 그리고 그의 아버지 다윗이 봉헌한 모든 것들을 솔로몬이 안으로 들였으니, 은과 금과 모든 기구들을 그가 하나님의 집의 보물 창고들 가운데 두었더라.
1 Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the LORD was finished: and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God.
2 ¶ 그때 솔로몬이 이스라엘의 장로들과, 지파들의 모든 수장들, 곧 이스라엘 자녀들 중 아버지들의 우두머리들을 예루살렘으로 집결시켰으니, 시온에 있는 다윗의 도시에서 주의 언약궤를 가져오려는 것이었더라.
2 ¶ Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.
3 이러한 이유로 이스라엘의 모든 남자들이 일곱째 달에 있었던 명절에 스스로 집결하여 왕에게 이르렀더라.
3 Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king in the feast which was in the seventh month.
4 그리하여 이스라엘의 모든 장로들이 왔더라. 또 레위인들이 법궤를 멨더라.
4 And all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites took up the ark.
5 그리고 그들이 법궤와, 회중의 성막과, 성막 안에 있었던 모든 거룩한 기물들을 가지고 올라갔으니, 제사장들과 레위인들이 이것들을 가지고 올라갔더라.
5 And they brought up the ark, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, these did the priests and the Levites bring up.
6 또한 솔로몬왕과 이스라엘의 온 회중이 법궤 앞에서 그에게 집결하였으며, 양들과 소들을 희생 제물로 드렸으니, 말할 수도 계수할 수도 없을 만큼 허다한 수였더라.
6 Also king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel that were assembled unto him before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen, which could not be told nor numbered for multitude.
7 그러고 나서 제사장들은 주의 언약궤를 그의 처소로 들였으니, 그곳은 그 집의 신탁의 장소요, 지극히 거룩한 처소 안이요, 바로 그룹들의 날개들 아래더라.
7 And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, to the oracle of the house, into the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims:
8 이는 그룹들이 그들의 날개들을 법궤의 장소 위에 활짝 펼쳤고 그룹들은 법궤와 그것의 막대들을 위에서 덮었기 때문이라.
8 For the cherubims spread forth their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.
9 그리고 그들은 법궤의 막대들을 빼냈으니, 신탁의 장소 앞 법궤에서는 막대들의 끝들이 보였으나 그것들이 밖에서는 보이지 아니하였더라. 그리하여 그것이 오늘날까지 거기에 있느니라.
9 And they drew out the staves of the ark, that the ends of the staves were seen from the ark before the oracle; but they were not seen without. And there it is unto this day.
10 법궤 안에는 주께서 이스라엘 자녀들과 언약을 맺으셨을 때, 곧 그들이 이집트에서 나왔을 때 모세가 호렙에서 그 안에 넣어 둔 판들 두 개를 제외하고는 아무것도 없었더라.
10 There was nothing in the ark save the two tables which Moses put therein at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.
11 ¶ 이후에 제사장들이 거룩한 처소에서 나왔을 때 이러한 일이 있었으니, (이는 참석한 모든 제사장들이 성결하게 구별되었고 그때 계통별로 섬기지 아니하였기 때문이라.
11 ¶ And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place: (for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait by course:
12 또한 노래하는 자들이었던 레위인들, 곧 아삽에 속한 자들과 헤만에 속한 자들과 여두둔에 속한 자들이 모두 자신들의 아들들과 자신들의 형제들과 함께 흰 아마포로 차려입은 채 심벌들과 솔터리들과 하프들을 가지고 제단의 동쪽 끝에 섰으니, 그들 곁에 일백이십 명의 제사장들도 나팔들로 소리를 내며 있었더라.)
12 Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)
13 나팔수들과 노래하는 자들이 주께 찬송하고 감사하는 것이 들리도록 하나의 소리를 만들고자 한 사람처럼 되었더라. 또 그들이 나팔들과 심벌들과 음악을 위한 악기들과 함께 그들의 목소리를 높여 주를 찬송하며 말하기를, “이는 그분께서 선하시기 때문이요, 그분의 자비가 영원토록 지속되기 때문이라.” 하였을 때 무려 이러한 일이 있었으니, 그때 그 집, 바로 주의 집이 구름으로 가득 채워졌더라.
13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;
14 그렇기에 제사장들이 구름으로 인하여 섬기려고 서 있을 수 없었더라. 이는 주의 영광이 하나님의 집을 가득 채웠었기 때문이라.
14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.
