고린도전서 15장

1 형제들아, 이뿐만 아니라 내가 너희에게 선포한 복음을 나는 너희에게 밝히 알리나니, 그 복음을 너희 또한 받아들였고 그 안에 너희가 서 있는 것이라.

1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2 만일 내가 너희에게 선포한 것을 너희가 기억하고 있고 너희가 헛되이 믿은 것이 아니라면, 그 복음으로 너희 또한 구원받은 것이라.

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3 이는 나 또한 받은 것을 내가 무엇보다 먼저 너희에게 전달하였기 때문이니, 그것은 곧 성경 기록들대로 그리스도께서 우리의 죄들로 인하여 죽으셨다는 것과

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 그분께서 장사되셨다는 것과 성경 기록들대로 그분께서 셋째 날에 다시 살아나셨다는 것이라.

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

5 그런 다음에 그분께서 게바에게 보이셨고, 그 후에 열두 명에게 보이셨느니라.

5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

6 그 뒤에 그분께서 오백 명 이상의 형제들에게 한 번에 보이셨으니, 그들 중 대다수는 현재까지 남아 있으나 일부는 잠들었느니라.

6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

7 그 후에 그분께서 야고보에게 보이셨으며 그 뒤에는 모든 사도들에게 보이셨느니라.

7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

8 그리고 가장 마지막에 마치 합당한 때를 벗어나 태어난 자 같은 나에게도 그분께서 보이셨느니라.

8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

9 이는 내가 사도들 중에 가장 작은 자이기 때문이니, 나는 사도라고 불리는 것도 알맞지 아니하도다. 이는 내가 하나님의 교회를 박해하였기 때문이라.

9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

10 그러나 내가 나 된 것은 하나님의 은혜로 된 것이라. 그리고 나에게 부여된 그분의 은혜는 헛되지 아니하였느니라. 오히려 그들 모두보다 내가 더 넘치게 수고하였느니라. 그렇지만 내가 아니라 나와 함께하신 하나님의 은혜가 한 것이라.

10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

11 그러므로 나였든지 그들이었든지 간에 우리가 그렇게 선포하자 너희가 그렇게 믿었느니라.

11 Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.

12 이제 그리스도, 곧 그분께서 죽은 자들로부터 살아나셨다고 선포되셨거늘 어떻게 너희 가운데 일부가 죽은 자들의 부활이 전혀 없다고 말하느냐?

12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

13 그러나 만일 죽은 자들의 부활이 없다면 그때는 그리스도께서 살아나지 아니하신 것이라.

13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:

14 그리고 만일 그리스도께서 살아나지 아니하셨다면 그때는 우리의 선포도 헛되고, 너희의 믿음 역시 헛되니라.

14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

15 진정 우리는 또한 하나님의 거짓 증인들로 발견되느니라. 이는 우리가 하나님에 관하여 그분께서 그리스도를 일으키셨다고 증언하였기 때문이라. 만일 그러하여 죽은 자들이 살아나지 아니한다면 그분께서 그리스도를 일으키신 것이 아니니라.

15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

16 이는 만일 죽은 자들이 살아나지 아니한다면 그때는 그리스도께서 일으켜지신 것이 아니기 때문이라.

16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:

17 그리고 만일 그리스도께서 일으켜지신 것이 아니라면 너희의 믿음은 헛되니, 너희는 여전히 너희의 죄들 가운데 있는 것이라.

17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

18 그렇다면 그리스도 안에서 잠든 자들 또한 멸망한 것이라.

18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

19 만일 그리스도 안에서 우리가 소망하는 것이 오로지 이생뿐이라면 우리는 모든 사람들 가운데 가장 비참한 자들이라.

19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

20 그러나 이제 그리스도께서 죽은 자들로부터 살아나셨고 잠자던 자들의 첫 열매들이 되셨느니라.

20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

21 이는 사람에 의하여 죽음이 임하였으므로 사람에 의하여 죽은 자들의 부활 또한 임하였기 때문이라.

21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

22 이는 아담 안에서 모두가 죽는 것같이 바로 그리스도 안에서도 그렇게 모두가 살게 될 것이기 때문이라.

22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

23 그러나 모든 사람이 저마다 자기 자신의 차례에 살게 되리니, 첫 열매들인 그리스도시요, 다음은 그분께서 오실 때 그리스도께 속한 자들이라.

23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

24 그 뒤에는 끝이 오나니, 그분께서 하나님, 곧 아버지께 왕국을 넘겨 드리실 때요, 그분께서 모든 다스림과 모든 권위와 권능을 평정하실 때라.

24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

25 이는 그분께서 친히 모든 원수들을 그분의 발아래 두실 때까지 통치하셔야만 하기 때문이라.

25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

26 멸망당할 마지막 원수는 사망이라.

26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

27 이는 그분께서 모든 것들을 자신의 발아래 두셨기 때문이라. 그러나 모든 것들이 그분 아래 두어졌다고 그분께서 친히 말씀하실 때 모든 것들을 자신 아래 두신 그분은 제외되신 것이 명백하니라.

27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

28 그리고 모든 것들이 그분께 굴복하게 되면 그때 그 아들께서도 모든 것들을 자신의 발아래 두신 분께 스스로 복종하시리니, 하나님께서 모든 것 안에서 모든 것이 되려 하심이라.

28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

29 그렇지 않고 만일 죽은 자들이 전혀 살아나지 아니한다면 죽은 자의 의미로 침례를 받은 자들은 무엇을 하겠느냐? 그렇다면 어찌하여 그들이 죽은 자들로 인하여 침례를 받느냐?

29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?

30 그리하면 어찌하여 우리가 매시각 위태로운 상황 가운데 서 있느냐?

30 And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?

31 그리스도 예수 우리 주 안에서 내가 가지고 있는 너희에 대한 큰 기쁨으로 단언하노니, 나는 매일 죽노라.

31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

32 만일 내가 사람들의 방식을 따라 에베소에서 짐승들과 싸웠다면, 또 죽은 자들이 살아나지 않는다면, 그것이 나에게 무슨 이로움을 주겠느냐? 내일이면 우리가 죽으리니, 우리가 먹고 마시자.

32 If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.

33 속지 말라. 악한 사귐들은 선한 생활 양식들을 부패하게 하느니라.

33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

34 의에 깨어 있고 죄를 짓지 말라. 이는 어떤 이들에게는 하나님의 지식이 없기 때문이라. 내가 너희를 부끄럽게 하려고 이것을 말하노라.

34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

35 그러나 어떤 사람이 말하기를, “죽은 자들이 어떻게 일으켜지느냐? 그리고 무슨 몸으로 그들이 오느냐?” 할 것이라.

35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?

36 너 어리석은 자여, 네가 뿌린 것이 죽지 아니하면 그것은 되살아나지 못하느니라.

36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:

37 그리고 네가 뿌리는 것은 네가 앞으로 존재하게 될 그 몸 자체를 뿌리는 것이 아니라, 다만 있는 그대로의 낟알을 뿌리는 것이니, 그것이 밀의 낟알이든지 여타 다른 것의 낟알이든지 뿌리는 것이라.

37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

38 그러나 하나님께서는 그것이 그분을 기쁘게 해 드린 대로 그 씨에게 한 몸을 주시니, 모든 씨에게 저마다 그의 고유한 몸을 주시느니라.

38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

39 모든 육체가 같은 육체는 아니니라. 오히려 사람들의 육체에 속하는 한 종류가 있고, 짐승들의 육체에 속하는 다른 종류가 있으며, 물고기들의 육체에 속하는 다른 종류가 있고, 새들의 육체에 속하는 다른 종류가 있느니라.

39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

40 또한 천상의 몸들이 있으며 지상의 몸들이 있느니라. 그러나 천상에 있는 것들의 영광이 하나요, 지상에 있는 것들의 영광은 또 다른 것이라.

40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

41 해의 영광이 하나 있고, 달의 영광이 또 하나 있으며, 별들의 영광이 또 하나 있느니라. 이는 하나의 별이 다른 하나의 별과 영광에 있어서 다르기 때문이라.

41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

42 죽은 자들의 부활 역시 그러하도다. 그 씨가 썩는 것으로 뿌려지나 그것은 썩지 않는 것으로 일으켜지느니라.

42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

43 그 씨가 불명예로 뿌려지나 그것은 영광으로 일으켜지느니라. 그 씨가 약함으로 뿌려지나 그것은 권능으로 일으켜지느니라.

43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

44 그 씨가 본성적인 몸으로 뿌려지나 그것은 영적인 몸으로 일으켜지느니라. 본성적인 몸이 있고 영적인 몸이 있느니라.

44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

45 그리하여 기록되기를, “첫 사람 아담이 살아 있는 혼이 되었느니라.” 한 것과 같이 마지막 아담은 되살려 주는 영이 되셨느니라.

45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

46 하지만 영적인 것이 먼저가 아니라 오히려 본성적인 것이 먼저니, 그 뒤에 영적인 것이라.

46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

47 첫 사람은 땅에서 나서 땅에 속하나, 둘째 사람은 하늘로부터 오신 주시니라.

47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

48 땅에 속한 첫 사람같이 땅에 속한 자들도 그러하고 하늘에 속한 둘째 사람같이 하늘에 속한 자들도 그러하니라.

48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

49 그런즉 우리가 땅에 속한 첫 사람의 형상을 지닌 것같이 우리가 하늘에 속한 둘째 사람의 형상 또한 지니게 되리라.

49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

50 형제들아, 이제 내가 이것을 말하노니, 살과 피는 하나님의 왕국을 상속받을 수 없느니라. 또한 썩는 것은 썩지 아니하는 것을 상속받을 수 없느니라.

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51 보라, 내가 너희에게 한 신비를 제시하노라. 우리가 모두 잠잘 것은 아니요, 오히려 우리가 모두 변화되리니,

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52 순간적으로 눈 깜짝할 때 마지막 나팔 소리에 그러하리라. 이는 그 나팔이 소리를 낼 것이요, 죽은 자들이 썩을 수 없는 몸으로 일으켜질 것이며, 우리가 변화될 것이기 때문이라.

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53 이는 이 썩을 수 있는 몸이 반드시 썩지 아니함을 입을 것이요, 이 죽을 수 밖에 없는 몸이 반드시 불멸을 입을 것이기 때문이라.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

54 그렇게 하여 이 썩을 수 있는 몸이 썩지 아니함을 입고 이 죽을 수밖에 없는 몸이 불멸을 입게 된다면, 그때는 이와 같이 기록되어 말하기를, “사망은 승리 속에 완전히 삼켜지리라.” 한 것이 실현되리라.

54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

55 오, 사망아, 너의 쏘는 침이 어디 있느냐? 오, 음부야, 너의 승리가 어디 있느냐?

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

56 사망의 쏘는 침은 죄요, 죄의 힘은 율법이라.

56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

57 그러나 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 우리에게 승리를 주시는 하나님께 감사들이 있기를 바라노라.

57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 그러므로 나의 사랑을 받는 형제들아, 너희는 확고하고 동요하지 말며 항상 주의 일을 넘치게 하라. 이는 너희의 수고가 주 안에서 헛되지 아니한 것을 너희가 알기 때문이라.

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
