고린도전서 5장

1 음행이 너희 가운데 있음이 공공연하게 알려져 있는데 그러한 음행은 이방인들 사이에서도 이름조차 불리지 않는 것이니, 즉 누군가가 자신의 아버지의 아내를 취하였다는 것이라.

1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

2 그런데 너희가 우쭐해져서 오히려 애곡하지도 아니하였으니, 이런 행동을 한 자가 너희 가운데서 출회되도록 하지 아니하는도다.

2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.

3 이는 진실로 내가 몸 안에서는 떨어져 있으나 영 안에서는 같이 있기에, 마치 내가 같이 있는 것처럼 이런 행동을 그와 같이 한 자에 관하여 이미 판단하였기 때문이라.

3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

4 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 너희가 함께 모일 때, 곧 나의 영도 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 권능으로 함께 모일 때

4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

5 그러한 이를 육신의 멸망을 위해 사탄에게 넘겨주는 것은 그 영이 주 예수의 날에 구원받게 하려 함이라.

5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

6 너희의 자랑함이 좋지 않도다. 너희는 적은 누룩이 온 덩어리를 부풀게 하는 것을 모르느냐?

6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

7 그러므로 오래된 누룩을 제하여 버릴지니, 너희가 누룩이 들어 있지 않은 자들로서 하나의 새 덩어리가 되게 하려는 것이라. 이는 바로 우리의 유월절 어린양이신 그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 희생하셨기 때문이라.

7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

8 그러므로 우리가 그 명절을 지키되 오래된 누룩으로 말고 악의와 사악함의 누룩으로도 말며, 다만 누룩이 들어 있지 않은, 성실과 진실의 빵으로 지키자.

8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

9 내가 너희에게 한 서신에서 음행하는 자들과 사귀지 말라고 기록하였노라.

9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:

10 그럼에도 이 세상의 음행하는 자들과 함께하거나 탐욕스러운 자들이나 착취하는 자들과 함께하거나 우상 숭배자들과 함께하는 것을 전적으로 금하는 것은 아니니라. 이는 그렇게 되면 너희가 반드시 세상 밖으로 나가야만 하기 때문이라.

10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.

11 그러나 이제 내가 너희에게 기록하였나니, 만일 형제라고 불리는 어떤 사람이 음행하는 자이거나 탐욕스러운 자이거나 우상 숭배자이거나 욕설하는 자이거나 술주정뱅이거나 착취하는 자라면 사귀지 말고, 그러한 자와는 함께 먹지도 말라는 것이라.

11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

12 그런즉 외부에 있는 자들까지 판단하는 일이 나와 무슨 상관이 있느냐? 너희가 내부에 있는 자들을 판단하지 아니하느냐?

12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

13 그러나 외부에 있는 자들은 하나님께서 판단하시느니라. 그러므로 너희들 가운데서 그 사악한 인물을 내쫓으라.

13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
