히브리서 10장

1 이는 율법이 다가올 좋은 것들의 그림자를 가지고 있으나, 그것들의 정확한 형상은 아니기에 그들이 해마다 지속적으로 바친 그 희생 제물들로는 그곳으로 나아오는 자들을 결코 완전하게 할 수 없기 때문이라.

1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

2 그렇게 되었다면 그들이 제물을 바치는 것을 그치지 않았겠느냐? 이는 한 번에 깨끗하게 된 경배자들이 더 이상 죄들에 대한 양심의 가책이 없어야 했기 때문이라.

2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

3 그러나 그 희생 제물들에는 매년 다시 죄들을 기억나게 함이 있느니라.

3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

4 이는 수소들의 피와 염소들의 피가 죄들을 제거하는 것이 불가능하기 때문이라.

4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

5 이런 이유로 그분께서 세상으로 오실 때 친히 이같이 말씀하시니라. “희생 제물과 제물은 당신께서 바라지 아니하시나, 당신께서 저에게 한 몸을 예비해 두셨나이다.

5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

6 당신께서는 죄로 인한 번제물들과 희생 제물들을 전혀 기뻐해 오지 아니하셨나이다.

6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

7 그때 제가 말씀드리기를, ‘보소서, (저에 관한 것이 그 책의 두루마리 안에 기록되어 있으니,) 오, 하나님이여, 저는 당신의 뜻을 행하려고 오나이다.’”

7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

8 위에서 그분께서 말씀하시기를, “희생 제물과 제물과 번제물들과 죄로 인한 제물은 당신께서 바라지 아니하시고 그것들을 기뻐하지도 아니하시나이다. 그것은 율법에 의하여 드려지나이다.” 하셨을 때,

8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;

9 그때 그분께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “보소서, 오, 하나님이여, 저는 당신의 뜻을 행하려고 오나이다.” 그분께서 첫째 것을 제거하시니, 자신이 둘째 것을 확립하려 하심이라.

9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

10 그 뜻에 의하여 예수 그리스도의 몸이 한 번에 완전하게 드려짐을 통해 우리가 성결하게 구별되는도다.

10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

11 그리고 제사장마다 매일 서서 섬기며 동일한 희생 제물들을 자주 바치지만, 그것들은 죄들을 결코 제거할 수 없느니라.

11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

12 그러나 이 사람은, 죄들로 인한 하나의 희생 제물을 친히 영원토록 바치신 뒤에 하나님의 오른편에 앉으셨느니라.

12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

13 이때부터는 그분의 원수들이 그분의 발등상이 될 때까지 기다리고 계시느니라.

13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

14 이는 그분께서 성결하게 구별된 자들을 하나의 제물로 영원토록 완전하게 하셨기 때문이라.

14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

15 이것에 관하여 성령님께서도 우리에게 증인이 되시느니라. 이는 그 후에 그분께서 미리 이같이 말씀하셨기 때문이라.

15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

16 “주가 말하노라. 그날들 뒤에 내가 그들과 맺을 언약이 이것이니, 내가 나의 법들을 그들의 마음속에 두겠으며, 내가 그들의 생각들 속에 그것들을 기록하겠노라.

16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

17 그리고 그들의 죄들과 죄악들을 내가 더 이상 기억하지 않겠노라.”

17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

18 이제 이것들의 사면이 있는 곳에는 더 이상 죄로 인한 제물이 없느니라.

18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

19 그러므로 형제들아, 예수님의 피로 말미암아 가장 거룩한 곳 안으로 들어가는 담대함을 얻었는데

19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

20 새롭고도 살아 있는 길로 인한 것이니, 그 길은 그 휘장막, 곧 그분의 육체를 통하여 그분께서 우리를 위하여 성별시키신 것이라.

20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

21 또한 하나님의 집을 다스리시는 대제사장을 두고 있으니,

21 And having an high priest over the house of God;

22 우리가 믿음의 전적인 확신 가운데 진실한 마음으로 가까이 나아가자. 우리의 마음은 악한 양심으로부터 피 뿌림을 받았으며 우리의 몸은 순수한 물로 씻겨졌느니라.

22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

23 우리가 흔들림 없이 우리 믿음에 관한 고백을 굳게 붙잡자. (이는 약속하신 분께서 신실하시기 때문이라.)

23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

24 그런즉 우리가 서로를 배려하여 사랑에 이르도록, 또 선한 행위들을 하도록 격려하자.

24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25 어떤 이들의 방식처럼 우리 자신들이 함께 집회를 갖는 것을 저버리지 말고 오히려 서로 권면하자. 그런즉 너희가 그날이 다가오는 것을 볼수록 더더욱 그리하자.

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

26 이는 만일 우리가 진리의 지식을 받아들인 후에라도 우리가 고의적으로 죄를 짓는다면 죄들로 인한 희생 제물이 더 이상 남아 있지 않기 때문이라.

26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

27 다만 대적들을 집어삼킬 심판과 열화와 같은 격분을 두렵게 기다리는 어떤 일만 남아 있느니라.

27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

28 모세의 율법을 멸시한 자가 두세 증거들에 따라 자비 없이 죽었도다.

28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

29 하물며 하나님의 아들을 발아래 짓밟고, 자신이 그것으로 성결하게 구별된 그 언약의 피를 거룩하지 않은 것으로 여겨 은혜의 영을 모독한 자에게는 얼마나 더 심한 형벌이 합당하다고 여겨지겠는가? 너희가 가늠해 보라.

29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

30 이는 우리가 “복수는 내게 속하나니, 내가 갚겠노라, 주가 말하노라.” 그리고 또 “주가 자신의 백성을 심판하리라.” 하고 말씀하신 분을 알기 때문이라.

30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

31 살아 계신 하나님의 두 손안에 떨어지는 것은 두려운 일이라.

31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

32 그러나 이전 날들을 기억해 보라. 그날들에 너희가 조명을 얻은 후, 고난들에서 비롯된 크나큰 싸움을 너희가 견디었느니라.

32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;

33 한편으로는 너희가 비방들과 고난들로 하나의 구경거리가 되었던 때였고, 한편으로는 너희가 이런 대우를 받는 자들의 동지가 되었던 때였느니라.

33 Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.

34 이는 너희가 하늘에 더 좋고 지속되는 재물을 소유한 것을 스스로 알았기에 너희가 나를 나의 결박들 가운데 불쌍히 여겼고 너희의 소유물들이 약탈당하는 것을 충만한 즐거움으로 여겼기 때문이라.

34 For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

35 그러므로 너희의 확신을 내던지지 말라. 그것에는 크나큰 보상의 삯이 있느니라.

35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

36 이는 너희에게 인내가 필요하기 때문이니, 너희가 하나님의 뜻을 행한 뒤에 너희로 하여금 그 약속하신 것을 받게 하려 함이라.

36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

37 이는 앞으로 잠시 후에는 오실 분께서 오실 것이요, 지체하지 아니하실 것이기 때문이라.

37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

38 이제 의인은 믿음으로 말미암아 살리라. 그러나 어떤 사람이라도 뒤로 물러나면 내 혼이 그를 전혀 기뻐하지 아니하리라.

38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

39 그러나 우리는 뒤로 물러나 파멸에 이르는 자들에게 속하지 아니하고 오히려 믿어 혼의 구원에 이르는 자들에게 속하느니라.

39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
