히브리서 9장
1 그렇다면 진실로 첫 언약 또한 신성한 섬김에 관한 법령들과 세상에 속해 있는 성소가 있었느니라.
1 Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.
2 이는 만들어진 장막이 있었기 때문이라. 첫째로 그 안에는 등잔대와 탁자와 진열하는 빵이 있었느니라. 그것이 성소라고 불리느니라.
2 For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.
3 다음으로 둘째 휘장막 뒤에는, 모든 곳들 중 가장 거룩한 곳이라고 불리는 성막이 있느니라.
3 And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;
4 거기에는 금 향로가 있었고 금으로 둘레가 덮인 언약궤가 있었는데, 그 안에는 만나를 담은 금 항아리와 아론의 싹 난 막대기와 언약의 돌판들이 있었느니라.
4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;
5 다음으로 그것 위에는 자비의 자리에 그늘을 드리우는 영광의 그룹들이 있었느니라. 그것들에 관해서는 우리가 지금 자세하게 언급할 수 없노라.
5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.
6 이제 이것들이 그와 같이 제정되었을 때 제사장들은 하나님을 섬기는 일을 수행하며 항상 첫째 성막으로 들어갔느니라.
6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
7 그러나 두 번째 성막은 대제사장이 매년 한 번씩 홀로 들어갔는데, 피 없이는 들어가지 아니하였으니 그 피는 그가 자신을 위해서 그리고 백성의 과오들로 인하여 바친 것이라.
7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:
8 성령님께서 이것을 알려 주고 계시니, 첫째 성막이 아직 서 있는 동안에는 모든 곳들 중 가장 거룩한 곳으로 가는 길이 아직 명백하게 드러나지 않았다는 것이라.
8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
9 그 성막은 현재, 곧 이때를 위한 한 모형이었으니, 그 안에서 예물들과 희생 제물들을 바쳤는데도 양심과 관련해서는 섬김을 이행했던 자를 완전하게 만들 수 없었느니라.
9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
10 그 성막은 단지 음식들과 음료들과 다양한 씻는 것들과 육신에 속한 법령들에만 유효했으며 개혁의 때까지만 그들에게 부과되었던 것이라.
10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.
11 그러나 그리스도께서 다가올 좋은 것들의 대제사장으로 오시되, 사람들의 손으로 지어지지 아니한, 즉 이런 건물 중 하나가 아닌 더 위대하고 더 완전한 성막을 통해 오셔서,
11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
12 염소들이나 송아지들의 피로도 아니요, 오직 그분 자신의 피로 그분께서 한 번 거룩한 처소 안으로 들어가시어 우리를 위하여 영존하는 구속을 얻어 내셨느니라.
12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
13 그런즉 만일 수소들의 피와 염소들의 피와 한 암송아지의 재들을 불결한 자들에게 뿌림으로써 육신의 정화에 이르도록 성결하게 구별한다면
13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
14 하물며 영존하시는 성령을 통하여 자신을 흠 없이 하나님께 바치신 그리스도의 피는 죽은 행위들에서 너희 양심을 깨끗이 씻어 내어 얼마나 더 살아 계신 하나님을 섬기도록 하겠느냐?
14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
15 그런즉 이런 까닭에 그분께서는 새 유언 언약의 중재자로 계시니, 첫 유언 언약 하에 있던 불법들의 구속을 위하여 죽으심으로써 부르심을 받는 자들이 영존하는 유산의 약속을 받게 하려 하심이라.
15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
16 이는 유언 언약이 있는 곳에는 그 유언자의 죽음 또한 필수적으로 있어야 하기 때문이라.
16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
17 이는 유언 언약은 사람들이 죽은 뒤에야 효력이 있기 때문이라. 그렇지 않다면 그것은 그 유언자가 살아 있는 동안에 전혀 영향력이 없느니라.
17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
18 그 때문에 첫 유언 언약 또한 피 없이 봉헌되지 아니하였느니라.
18 Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.
19 이는 모세가 모든 백성에게 율법에 따른 모든 규범을 저마다 전하였을 때 그가 송아지들의 피와 염소들의 피를 물과 주홍색 양털과 우슬초와 더불어 취하여 그 책에도 뿌리고 모든 백성에게도 뿌리면서
19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
20 말하기를, “이것은 유언 언약의 피니, 하나님께서 너희에게 지시하신 것이라.” 하였더라.
20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.
21 이뿐만 아니라 그는 피를 성막에도 뿌리고 사역과 관련된 모든 그릇들에도 뿌렸느니라.
21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.
22 그리하여 율법에 따라 거의 모든 것들이 피로 깨끗하게 되느니라. 그런즉 피 흘림이 없이는 사면이 없느니라.
22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
23 그러므로 하늘들에 있는 것들의 모형들은 이것들로 정화될 필요가 있었느니라. 그러나 하늘에 있는 것들 그 자체는 이것들보다 더 좋은 희생 제물들로 정화될 필요가 있었느니라.
23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
24 이는 그리스도께서는 손들로 지어진 거룩한 처소들, 곧 참된 것의 모형들 안으로 들어가지 않으셨고, 오히려 하늘 그 자체 안으로 들어가셨기 때문이니, 우리를 위하여 지금 하나님의 임재 앞에 나타나 계시니라.
24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
25 또한 그분께서는 대제사장이 거룩한 처소 안으로 다른 것들의 피를 가지고 매년 들어가는 것처럼 빈번히 자신을 바치지 않으셔도 되느니라.
25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
26 이는 그랬더라면 그분은 세상의 기초가 세워진 이후에 빈번히 수난을 겪으셔야만 했을 것이기 때문이라. 그러나 이제 그분께서 자신을 희생 제물로 드리어 죄를 없애시려고 세상의 끝에 한 번 나타나셨도다.
26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 그런즉 한 번 죽는 것은 사람들에게 정해져 있으나 이후에는 심판이 정해져 있는 것같이
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 이처럼 그리스도께서도 많은 이들의 죄들을 감당하시려고 한 번 제물로 바쳐지셨느니라. 그런 다음에 그분께서 자신을 고대하는 자들에게 죄와 상관없이 두 번째 나타나시어 구원에 이르게 하시리라.
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
