히브리서 13장

1 형제 사랑이 지속되게 하라.

1 Let brotherly love continue.

2 나그네들을 대접하기를 잊지 말라. 이는 그러다가 어떤 이들이 모르는 사이에 천사들을 대접하였기 때문이라.

2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

3 결박들을 당한 자들을 그들과 함께 결박당한 것처럼 기억하라. 그리고 너희 자신 역시 몸 안에 있는 자들로서 역경을 겪는 자들을 기억하라.

3 Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

4 혼인은 모든 것 가운데 존귀한 것이니, 침상은 더럽혀지지 않아야 하느니라. 그러나 행음에 빠진 자들과 간음하는 자들은 하나님께서 심판하시리라.

4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

5 너희의 생활 방식에 탐욕이 없게 하라. 그리고 너희가 가지고 있는 만큼 그런 것들로 자족하라. 이는 그분께서 말씀하시기를, “내가 결코 너를 떠나지도 아니하겠고, 너를 버리지도 아니하겠노라.” 하셨기 때문이라.

5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

6 이는 그렇게 하시어 우리로 하여금 “주께서는 나를 돕는 분이시니, 사람이 나에게 행할 것을 내가 두려워하지 아니하겠노라.” 하고 담대하게 말하게 하려 하심이라.

6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

7 너희를 다스리는 자들, 곧 너희에게 하나님의 말씀을 전한 자들을 기억하라. 그들의 생활 방식의 결과를 숙고하면서 그들의 믿음을 따르라.

7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

8 예수 그리스도는 어제나 오늘이나 영원토록 동일하시니라.

8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

9 가지각색의 이상한 교리들에 끌려다니지 말라. 이는 마음이 은혜로 확고히 세워지는 것이 좋기 때문이라. 음식들로 할 것이 아니니, 그것들은 거기에 빠진 자들에게 유익을 주지 아니하였느니라.

9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

10 우리가 한 제단을 가지고 있으니, 성막을 섬기는 자들은 제단에서 나오는 것을 먹을 권리가 전혀 없느니라.

10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.

11 이는 죄로 인하여 대제사장에 의해 그 피가 성소 안으로 들여진 그 짐승들의 몸은 진영 밖에서 태워지기 때문이라.

11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

12 이런 이유로 예수님께서도 친히 자기 자신의 피로 백성을 성결하게 구별하시고자 성문 밖에서 수난을 겪으셨느니라.

12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

13 그러므로 우리가 그분의 치욕을 짊어진 채 진영 밖에 계신 그분께로 나아가자.

13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

14 이는 여기에는 우리에게 지속되는 도성이 전혀 없기 때문이라. 그러나 우리는 다가올 도성을 찾고 있느니라.

14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

15 그러므로 우리가 그분을 통하여 하나님께 찬송의 희생 제물을 지속적으로 드리자. 그것은, 곧 그분의 이름에 감사들을 드리는 우리 입술의 열매니라.

15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

16 다만 선을 행하는 것과 나눠주는 것을 잊지 말자. 이는 그러한 희생 제물들로 인하여 하나님께서는 매우 기뻐하시기 때문이라.

16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

17 너희를 다스리는 자들에게 순종하고 스스로 복종하라. 이는 그들이 회계 보고를 해야만 하는 자들로서 너희의 혼들을 위하여 깨어 있기 때문이라. 이는 그들로 하여금 그것을 즐거움으로 행하고 비통함으로 하지 않게 하려 함이라. 이는 그것이 너희에게 무익하기 때문이라.

17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

18 우리를 위하여 기도하라. 이는 우리가 모든 일들에서 정직하게 살기를 원하고, 우리가 선한 양심을 가지고 있음을 확신하기 때문이라.

18 Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

19 그러나 내가 너희에게 더 일찍 돌아갈 수 있도록 너희가 이렇게 행하기를 내가 더욱 간청하노라.

19 But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

20 이제 화평의 하나님, 곧 양들의 위대한 목자이신 우리 주 예수를 영원한 언약의 피를 통하여 죽은 자들로부터 다시 데려오신 분께서

20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

21 그분의 목전에서 매우 기뻐하시는 것을 너희 안에서 행사하시며 예수 그리스도를 통하여 너희가 그분의 뜻을 행하도록 너희를 모든 선한 일마다 완전하게 하시기를 기원하노라. 그분께 영원무궁토록 영광이 있기를 바라노라. 아멘.

21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

22 그리고 형제들아, 내가 너희에게 간청하노니 권면하는 이 말을 용납하라. 이는 내가 너희에게 몇 자 적어 한 편의 편지를 썼기 때문이라.

22 And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.

23 우리 형제 디모데가 석방된 것을 너희는 알라. 만일 그가 속히 온다면 내가 너희를 디모데와 더불어 보리라.

23 Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.

24 너희를 다스리는 모든 자들과 모든 성도들에게 문안하라. 이탈리아의 성도들이 너희에게 문안하노라.

24 Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.

25 은혜가 너희 모두와 함께 있기를 기원하노라. 아멘.

25 Grace be with you all. Amen.
