레위기 24장

1 그리고 주께서 모세에게 이같이 일러 말씀하셨느니라.

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2 “이스라엘 자녀들에게 명령하여 그들로 하여금 빛을 내기 위해 압착된 올리브의 순수한 기름을 너에게로 가져오게 하여 그 등불들이 지속적으로 타오르게 하라.

2 Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.

3 회중의 성막 안에 있는 증언의 휘장 밖에서 아론은 저녁부터 아침까지 그것을 주 앞에서 지속적으로 정돈할지니라. 그것은 너희 세대들 가운데 영원토록 규례가 되리라.

3 Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations.

4 그는 순수한 등잔대 위에 있는 등잔들을 주 앞에서 지속적으로 정돈할지니라.

4 He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the LORD continually.

5 ¶ 그리고 너는 고운 곡물 가루를 취하여 그것으로 둥글납작한 빵 열두 개를 구울지니, 둥글납작한 빵 하나에 십분의 이 용량이 되어야 하리라.

5 ¶ And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth deals shall be in one cake.

6 그러고 나서 너는 주 앞에 순수한 식탁 위에다 한 줄에 여섯 개씩 두 줄로 그것들을 진열할지니라.

6 And thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before the LORD.

7 그리고 너는 순수한 유향을 각 줄 위에 둘지니, 그것으로 하여금 기념, 곧 주께 불로써 드려지는 제물로 빵 위에 있게 하려 함이라.

7 And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

8 그는 그것을 안식일마다 주 앞에 지속적으로 진열할지니, 영원한 언약으로 이스라엘 자녀들에게서 취해지도록 하려는 것이라.

8 Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.

9 그리고 그것은 아론의 것과 그의 아들들의 것이 되리라. 그런즉 그들은 그것을 거룩한 처소 안에서 먹을지니라. 이는 그것이 영속적인 규례에 의하여 불로써 드려지는 주의 제물들 중에서 그에게 지극히 거룩한 것이기 때문이라.”

9 And it shall be Aaron's and his sons'; and they shall eat it in the holy place: for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of the LORD made by fire by a perpetual statute.

10 ¶ 이후에 어떤 이스라엘 여자의 아들이요, 아버지가 이집트인인 자가 이스라엘 자녀들 가운데로 나갔더라. 그러고는 이 이스라엘 여자의 아들과 이스라엘의 어떤 남자가 진영 안에서 서로 분쟁을 일으켰더라.

10 ¶ And the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel: and this son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;

11 이윽고 이스라엘 여인의 아들이 주의 이름을 모독하며 저주하였더라. 이에 그들이 그를 모세에게로 데려갔더라. (그리고 그의 어머니의 이름은 셸로밋으로, 단 지파에 속한 디브리의 딸이었더라.)

11 And the Israelitish woman's son blasphemed the name of the LORD, and cursed. And they brought him unto Moses: (and his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan:)

12 그러자 그들은 주의 생각이 그들에게 알려지도록 그를 감방에 집어넣었더라.

12 And they put him in ward, that the mind of the LORD might be shewed them.

13 이에 주께서 모세에게 이같이 일러 말씀하셨느니라.

13 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

14 “그 저주한 자를 진영 밖으로 끌어내라. 그런 다음에 그의 말을 들은 모든 이로 하여금 자신들의 손을 그의 머리 위에 얹게 하라. 그런 다음에 온 회중으로 하여금 그를 돌로 쳐서 죽이게 하라.

14 Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

15 이어서 너는 이스라엘 자녀들에게 이같이 일러 말하라. ‘누구든지 자기 하나님을 저주하는 자는 자기 죄를 담당할지니라.

15 And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.

16 그리하여 주의 이름을 모독하는 자, 그는 반드시 사형에 처해지리니, 온 회중은 반드시 그를 돌로 쳐서 죽일지니라. 타국인도, 그 지역 가운데 태어난 자와 마찬가지로 그가 주의 이름을 모독할 때 사형에 처해지리라.

16 And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the LORD, shall be put to death.

17 ¶ 그리고 어떤 사람이라도 죽이는 자는 반드시 사형에 처해지리라.

17 ¶ And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death.

18 그리고 짐승을 죽이는 자는 그것을 물어 줄지니, 짐승은 짐승으로 갚을지니라.

18 And he that killeth a beast shall make it good; beast for beast.

19 그리고 만일 어떤 사람이 자기 이웃에게 상해를 가한다면 그가 행한 대로 그것이 그에게도 그렇게 이루어지리라.

19 And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him;

20 부러뜨린 것은 부러뜨린 것으로, 눈은 눈으로, 이는 이로 하라. 그가 사람에게 상해를 가한 대로 그것이 다시 그에게도 그렇게 이루어지리라.

20 Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again.

21 그리하여 짐승을 죽이는 자, 그는 그것을 변상할지니라. 그리고 사람을 죽이는 자, 그는 사형에 처해지리라.

21 And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.

22 너희는 타국인에게도 너희 자국민 중 한 명과 마찬가지로 한 가지 법을 적용할지니라. 이는 내가 주 너희 하나님이기 때문이라.’”

22 Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the LORD your God.

23 ¶ 그리고 모세가 이스라엘 자녀들에게 일러 그들로 하여금 그 저주한 자를 진영 밖으로 끌어내어 그를 돌들로 쳐서 죽이게 하였더라. 이에 이스라엘 자녀들이 주께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로 행하였더라.

23 ¶ And Moses spake to the children of Israel, that they should bring forth him that had cursed out of the camp, and stone him with stones. And the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.
