누가복음 13장

1 그 시기에 어떤 이들이 같이 있으면서 갈릴리인들에 관하여 그분께 알렸으니, 빌라도가 그들의 피를 그들의 희생 제물들에 섞었다는 것이라.

1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.

2 이에 예수님께서 그들에게 대답하며 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “너희는 이 갈릴리인들이 그런 일들을 겪었기 때문에 그들이 모든 갈릴리인들보다 더한 죄인들이었을 것이라고 생각하느냐?

2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?

3 내가 너희에게 이르노니, ‘아니니라. 그러나 너희가 회개하지 아니하면 너희도 모두 이와 같이 멸망하리라.’

3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

4 아니면 실로암에 있는 망대가 그 열여덟 명 위에 쓰러져 그들을 살해하였기에 너희는 그들이 예루살렘에 거하는 모든 사람들보다 더한 죄인들이었을 것이라고 생각하느냐?

4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?

5 내가 너희에게 이르노니, ‘아니니라. 그러나 너희가 회개하지 아니하면 너희도 모두 이와 같이 멸망하리라.’”

5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

6 ¶ 그분께서 이 비유도 말씀하셨느니라. “어떤 남자 한 명이 무화과나무 한 그루를 자신의 포도원에 심었느니라. 그런 다음에 그가 와서 그것의 열매를 찾았는데 아무것도 발견하지 못하였느니라.

6 ¶ He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

7 그때 그가 자신의 포도원지기에게 말하기를, ‘보라, 이 삼 년간 내가 이 무화과나무에서 열매를 찾으러 왔는데 아무것도 발견하지 못하였노라. 그것을 베어 내라. 어찌하여 그것이 토양에 지장을 주고 있느냐?’ 하였더라.

7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?

8 그러자 그가 그에게 대답하며 이같이 말하였느니라. ‘주여, 제가 그것 주위에 땅을 파고 그것에 거름을 줄 때까지는 금년에도 그것을 가만히 두어 주소서.

8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:

9 그리하여 만일 그것이 열매를 맺는다면 잘된 것이니이다. 그런데 만일 그러지 않는다면 그때 그 뒤에는 당신께서 그것을 베어 버리소서.’”

9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

10 그러고 나서 그분께서는 안식일에 회당들 중 하나에서 가르치고 계셨더라.

10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.

11 ¶ 그리고 보라, 십팔 년간 병약함의 영을 지닌 여자가 있었는데 전체적으로 구부러져서 스스로는 절대 몸을 들어 올리지 못하였더라.

11 ¶ And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.

12 그리하여 예수님께서 그녀를 보시자 친히 그녀를 자신에게로 부르시어 그녀에게 말씀하시기를, “여자여, 너는 너의 병약함에서 풀려났노라.” 하셨느니라.

12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.

13 그러면서 그분께서 자신의 두 손으로 그녀에게 안수하셨으니, 즉시 그녀가 곧게 펴졌고 하나님께 영광을 돌렸더라.

13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

14 그런데 회당 치리자는 예수님께서 안식일에 치유하셨기 때문에 격분하며 반응하였고 백성에게 말하기를, “사람들이 마땅히 일해야 할 육 일이 있도다. 그러므로 그날들에 와서 치유받고 안식일에는 하지 말라.” 하였더라.

14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.

15 그때 주께서 그에게 답하여 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “너, 위선자여, 너희 각자는 안식일에 자기 소나 자기 나귀를 외양간에서 풀어 물을 주기 위해 그를 끌고 가지 아니하냐?

15 The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?

16 그런즉 아브라함의 딸인 이 여자를 사탄이 이렇듯 십팔 년 동안 결박하였으니, 보라, 이 여자가 안식일에 이 결박에서 풀려나는 것이 마땅하지 아니하냐?”

16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

17 그러자 그분께서 이런 것들을 말씀하셨을 때 그분의 모든 대적들이 부끄러워하였더라. 이에 모든 이들은 그분에 의하여 행해진 모든 영광스러운 것들로 인하여 크게 기뻐하였더라.

17 And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

18 ¶ 그때 그분께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “하나님의 왕국이 무엇과 같은가? 또한 내가 그것을 어디에 비할까?

18 ¶ Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it?

19 그것은 어떤 남자가 가져다가 자신의 정원에 던져 놓은 겨자씨 한 알과 같도다. 그리하여 그것이 자라나더니 점점 커져서 한 그루의 커다란 나무가 되었더라. 그리하여 그것의 가지들에 공중의 날짐승들이 깃들었느니라.”

19 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.

20 이어서 그분께서 다시금 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “내가 하나님의 왕국을 어디에 비유할까?

20 And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?

21 그것은 누룩과 같으니, 그것을 어떤 여자가 가져다가 세 도량 만큼의 곡식 가루 속에다 전체가 부풀어 오를 때까지 숨겨 놓았느니라.”

21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

22 이후에 그분께서 예루살렘을 향하여 여정을 떠나시면서 도시들과 촌락들을 거쳐가며 가르치셨더라.

22 And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.

23 그때 누군가 그분께 말씀드리기를, “주여, 구원받을 자들이 적으니이까?” 하였더라. 그러자 그분께서 그들에게 이같이 말씀하셨느니라.

23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,

24 ¶ “좁은 문으로 들어가려고 분투하라. 이는 많은 이들이 그 안에 들어가기를 구할 것이나 들어갈 수 없을 것이라고 내가 너희에게 말하기 때문이라.

24 ¶ Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

25 그 집의 주인이 일어나서 일단 그 문을 닫으면, 너희는 밖에 서서 그 문을 두드리기 시작하면서 말하기를, ‘주여, 주여, 우리에게 문을 열어 주소서.’ 하느니라. 그리하면 그가 너희에게 대답하여 말하기를, ‘나는 너희가 어디에서 왔는지 모르노라.’ 하리라.

25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

26 그때 너희가 말하기 시작하기를, ‘우리는 당신의 면전에서 먹고 마셨으며, 당신께서 우리의 거리들에서 가르치셨나이다.’ 하리라.

26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.

27 그러나 그가 말하기를, ‘내가 너희에게 이르노니, 나는 너희가 어디에서 왔는지 모르노라. 죄악의 일꾼들인 너희들아, 모두 나에게서 떠나라.’ 하리라.

27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

28 너희가 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱과 모든 예언자들을 하나님의 왕국에서 보고, 너희 자신은 내쫓긴 것을 볼 때에 거기에서 울며 이를 가는 일이 있으리라.

28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

29 그리고 그들이 동방에서와 서방에서와 북방에서와 남방에서 올 것이요, 하나님의 왕국에 앉으리라.

29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.

30 그런즉 보라, 마지막인 자들로서 처음이 될 자들이 있고, 처음인 자들로서 마지막이 될 자들이 있느니라.”

30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

31 ¶ 같은 날 바리새파 사람들 중 어떤 이들이 와서 그분께 말씀드리기를, “당신은 나가서 여기를 떠나소서. 이는 헤롯이 당신을 죽일 것이기 때문이니이다.” 하였더라.

31 ¶ The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.

32 그러자 그분께서 그들에게 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “너희는 가서 그 여우에게 이르라. 보라, 내가 마귀들을 쫓아내며, 오늘과 내일 내가 질병들을 치료하고, 셋째 날에는 내가 완전해지리라.

32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

33 그럼에도 불구하고 오늘도, 내일도, 그 뒤에 이어질 날도 나는 걸어가야만 하느니라. 이는 예언자가 예루살렘 밖에서 죽을 수는 없기 때문이라.

33 Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.

34 오, 예루살렘아, 예루살렘아, 예언자들을 죽이고 너에게로 보내심을 받은 자들을 돌로 쳐서 죽이는 자야, 마치 암탉이 그녀의 한배 새끼들을 자기 두 날개 아래로 모으려고 하듯이 내가 얼마나 자주 너의 자녀들을 한데 모으려고 하였느냐! 그런데 너희가 원하지 아니하였도다.

34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!

35 보라, 너희의 집이 너희에게 황량하게 남겨졌느니라. 그런즉 진실로 내가 너희에게 말하노니, ‘그 시간이 와서 너희가 말하기를 ‘주의 이름으로 오시는 분은 찬양받으시는도다.’ 하고 말할 때까지 너희는 나를 보지 못하리라.’”

35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
