누가복음 24장

1 이제 그 주의 첫째 날 아주 이른 아침에 그들은 자신들이 예비해 두었던 향료들을 가져와서 그 돌무덤에 이르렀는데 다른 어떤 이들이 그들과 함께하였더라.

1 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.

2 그리고 그들은 그 돌무덤에서 그 돌이 굴려져 치워진 것을 발견하였더라.

2 And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.

3 그리하여 그들이 안으로 들어갔는데 주 예수의 시신을 발견하지 못하였더라.

3 And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.

4 그러자 그들이 그 근처에서 크게 당황스러워하고 있는 동안 이러한 일이 있었으니, 두 남자들이 빛나는 의복들을 입고 그들 곁에 섰더라.

4 And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:

5 그러자 그들이 무서워하여 자기 얼굴을 땅에 대고 절을 하는 와중에 그 남자들이 그들에게 이같이 말하였더라. “어찌하여 너희는 죽은 자들 가운데서 살아 계신 분을 찾고 있느냐?

5 And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

6 그분께서는 여기에 계시지 아니하고 오히려 살아나셨도다. 그분께서 아직 갈릴리에 계셨을 때 친히 너희에게 어떻게 말씀하셨는지를 기억하라.

6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,

7 그분께서 말씀하시기를, ‘인자가 죄 많은 사람들의 손안에 넘겨지고, 십자가에 못 박힌 다음 셋째 날에 다시 살아나야만 하느니라.’ 하셨느니라.”

7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

8 그러자 그들이 그분의 말씀을 기억하고

8 And they remembered his words,

9 그 돌무덤으로부터 되돌아가서 이 모든 것들을 열한 명에게와 나머지 모든 자들에게 알렸더라.

9 And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.

10 이 일들을 사도들에게 알린 자들은 막달라인 마리아와 요안나와 야고보의 어머니 마리아와 그들과 함께 있던 다른 여자들이었더라.

10 It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.

11 그런데 그들의 말들은 저들에게 하찮은 이야기들처럼 보였고 저들은 그들을 믿지 아니하였더라.

11 And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.

12 그때 베드로가 일어나서 그 돌무덤으로 달려갔더라. 그러고는 몸을 굽힌 채 아마천들만 따로 놓인 것을 보았으며 일어난 일에 스스로 의아해하며 떠났더라.

12 Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass.

13 ¶ 그런데 보라, 그들 중 두 명이 그와 같은 날에 엠마우스라 불리는 촌락으로 갔더라. 그곳은 예루살렘에서부터 육십 펄롱¹²쯤 떨어진 곳이었더라.

13 ¶ And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.

14 그러면서 발생한 이 모든 일들에 관하여 그들이 함께 대화하였더라.

14 And they talked together of all these things which had happened.

15 그런데 그들이 함께 대화를 하고 논의하는 동안 이러한 일이 있었으니, 예수님께서 친히 가까이 다가가시어 그들과 함께 가셨더라.

15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.

16 그러나 그들의 눈이 가려져 있어 그들은 그분을 몰랐더라.

16 But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.

17 그리고 그분께서 그들에게 말씀하시기를, “너희가 서로 나누고 있는 이것들이 어떤 방식의 대화들이기에 너희가 걷는 동안에도 슬퍼하느냐?” 하셨느니라.

17 And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?

18 그리고 클레오파스라는 이름으로 불리는 그들 중 한 명이 그분께 대답하며 말씀드리기를, “당신은 예루살렘에서 단지 나그네였기에 요즈음 거기서 일어나는 일들을 모르시나이까?” 하였더라.

18 And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?

19 그러자 그분께서 그들에게 말씀하시기를, “무슨 일들이냐?” 하셨더라. 이에 그들이 그분께 말씀드렸더라. “나사렛의 예수님에 관한 것인데 그분은 하나님과 온 백성 앞에서 행실과 말씀에 있어 매우 능력 있는 예언자이셨나이다.

19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:

20 그리고 수석 제사장들과 우리의 치리자들이 그분을 사형에 처하도록 넘겼고 그분을 십자가에 못 박았나이다.

20 And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.

21 그러나 우리는 그분이 이스라엘을 구속하여야 할 분이셨다고 신뢰하였나이다. 그리고 이 모든 것 외에도 오늘이 이 일들이 벌어진 지 셋째 날이니이다.

21 But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.

22 진정, 우리 일행 중 어떤 여자들도 우리를 깜짝 놀라게 하였으니, 그들은 일찍 그 돌무덤에 있던 자들이었나이다.

22 Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;

23 그런데 그들이 그분의 시신을 발견하지 못하자 그들이 와서 말하기를, 그들 또한 그분께서 살아 계시다고 말한 천사들의 현시를 보았다고 하였나이다.

23 And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.

24 그리고 우리와 함께 있던 그들 중 어떤 이들도 그 돌무덤에 갔는데 그 여자들이 말한 것같이 그것이 정말 그러한 것을 발견하였으나 그들이 그분을 보지는 못하였나이다.”

24 And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.

25 그때 그분께서 그들에게 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “오, 어리석은 자들이요, 예언자들이 말한 모든 것을 마음에 더디 믿는 자들아,

25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

26 그리스도가 마땅히 이런 일들로 수난을 겪은 후에 그의 영광 안으로 들어가야 하지 않겠느냐?”

26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?

27 그러고는 그분께서 모세와 모든 예언자들부터 시작하여 성경 기록들에서 자신에 관한 것들을 그들에게 자세히 설명하셨더라.

27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

28 그리고 그들은 자신들이 가려던 그 촌락 부근에 당도하였더라. 이에 그분께서는 마치 더 멀리 가시려던 것처럼 하셨더라.

28 And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.

29 그러나 그들이 그분을 강하게 만류하면서 말씀드리기를, “우리와 함께 거하소서. 이는 저녁으로 기울어가고 있으며 날이 꽤 저물었기 때문이니이다.” 하였더라. 이에 그분께서 그들과 함께 머물기 위해 들어가셨더라.

29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.

30 그리고 그분께서 그들과 함께 앉아 식사하고 계셨을 때 이러한 일이 있었으니, 그분께서 빵을 집으시고 그것에 복을 주신 후에 찢어서 그들에게 주셨더라.

30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.

31 그러자 그들의 눈이 열려 그들이 그분을 알아보았더라. 그런데 그분께서는 그들의 시야에서 사라지셨더라.

31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

32 그리하여 그들이 서로 말하기를, “그분께서 도중에 우리와 함께 대화하시는 동안 그리고 친히 우리에게 성경 기록들을 열어 주시는 동안 우리의 마음이 우리 안에서 타오르지 아니하였느냐?” 하였더라.

32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

33 그리고 바로 그 시각에 그들이 일어나 예루살렘으로 되돌아가서 한데 모여 있는 열한 명과 그들과 함께 있던 자들을 발견하고

33 And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,

34 말하기를, “주께서 정녕 살아나셨으며 시몬에게도 나타나셨도다.” 하였더라.

34 Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.

35 그러자 그들이 도중에 무슨 일들이 벌어졌는지와 어떻게 그분께서 빵을 찢으시는 가운데 그들에게 알려지셨는지를 일러 주었더라.

35 And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.

36 ¶ 그리고 그들이 그와 같이 말하는 동안 예수님께서 친히 그들 한가운데 서셨더라. 그리고 그들에게 말씀하시기를, “너희에게 평안이 있기를 기원하노라.” 하시니라.

36 ¶ And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

37 그러나 그들은 공포스러워하고 겁에 질렸으며, 그들이 어떤 영을 보고 있다고 짐작하였더라.

37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.

38 그러자 그분께서 그들에게 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “어찌하여 너희는 불안해하느냐? 그리고 어찌하여 너희 마음속에 걱정들이 일어나느냐?

38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?

39 나의 두 손과 나의 두 발을 보라. 바로 나니라. 나를 손으로 만지고 살펴보라. 이는 영은 살과 뼈들을 지니고 있지 않지만 너희가 보는 바와 같이 나는 지니고 있기 때문이라.”

39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

40 그리고 그분께서 그와 같이 말씀하신 후에 친히 그들에게 자신의 두 손과 자신의 두 발을 보여 주셨더라.

40 And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.

41 그리하여 그들이 즐거움으로 인하여 아직 믿지 못하고 의아해하고 있는 사이에 그분께서 그들에게 말씀하시기를, “너희는 여기에 어떤 음식을 가지고 있느냐?” 하셨느니라.

41 And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?

42 이에 그들은 구운 생선 한 토막과 벌집 한 조각을 그분께 드렸더라.

42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.

43 그러자 그분께서 그것을 집으시어 그들 앞에서 드셨더라.

43 And he took it, and did eat before them.

44 이어서 그분께서 그들에게 말씀하시기를, “내가 아직 너희와 함께 있는 동안 내가 너희에게 전한 말들이 이러하니라. 곧, 모세의 율법과 예언서들과 시편들 안에서 나에 관하여 기록된 모든 것들이 성취되어야만 한다는 것이라.” 하셨느니라.

44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

45 그때 그분께서 그들이 성경 기록들을 이해하도록 그들의 지각을 열어주셨으며

45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

46 그들에게 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “이와 같이 기록되었으니, 이렇게 그리스도가 수난을 겪고 셋째 날에 죽은 자들로부터 살아나는 것이 필연적이었도다.

46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

47 그리하여 예루살렘에서 시작하여 모든 민족들 가운데 회개와 죄들의 사면이 그의 이름으로 선포되어야 하는도다.

47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

48 그런즉 너희는 이런 일들의 증인들이니라.

48 And ye are witnesses of these things.

49 ¶ 그리고 보라, 내가 나의 아버지의 약속을 너희에게 보내노라. 다만 너희가 높은 곳으로부터 오는 권능을 입을 때까지 너희는 예루살렘 도성 안에 머물라.”

49 ¶ And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

50 ¶ 그리하여 그분께서 그들을 베다니까지 멀리 이끌고 나가셨으며, 그분께서 자신의 두 손을 들어 올리시어 그들에게 복을 주셨더라.

50 ¶ And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.

51 그리고 그분께서 그들에게 복을 주시는 동안 이러한 일이 있었으니, 그분께서 그들로부터 떨어져 하늘 속으로 들려 올라가셨더라.

51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.

52 그런즉 그들이 그분을 경배하였고 크나큰 즐거움으로 예루살렘으로 되돌아갔더라.

52 And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:

53 그리고 그들은 하나님을 찬송하고 찬양하며 꾸준히 성전에 있었더라. 아멘.

53 And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
