누가복음 4장

1 이후에 예수님께서 성령님으로 충만하시어 요르단에서 되돌아오셨고, 성령에 의하여 이끌림을 받아 광야로 들어가시어

1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

2 사십 일간 마귀에게 시험을 받으셨더라. 그리고 그날들에 그분께서는 아무것도 드시지 아니하셨으니 그날들이 끝나자 그분께서 그 뒤에 배고프셨더라.

2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

3 그러자 마귀가 그분께 말하기를, “만일 네가 하나님의 아들이면 이 돌에게 명령하여 그것을 빵이 되게 하라.” 하였더라.

3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

4 그러자 예수님께서 그에게 대답하며 말씀하시기를, “기록되었으되, ‘사람이 빵으로만 살 것이 아니요, 다만 하나님의 모든 말씀 각각으로 살 것이라.’ 하였도다.” 하셨느니라.

4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

5 그러자 마귀가 그분을 높은 산속으로 데리고 올라가서 일순간에 그분께 세상의 모든 왕국들을 보여 주었더라.

5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

6 그러면서 마귀가 그분께 이같이 말하였더라. “이 모든 권능과 그것들의 영광을 내가 너에게 주겠노라. 이는 그것이 나에게 넘겨졌기 때문이라. 그런즉 나는 누구에게든지 내가 원하는 자에게 그것을 주겠노라.

6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

7 그러므로 만일 네가 나에게 경배하겠다면 모두 너의 것이 되리라.”

7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

8 이에 예수님께서 그에게 답하여 말씀하시기를, “사탄아, 내 뒤로 물러가라. 이는 기록되기를, ‘너는 주 너의 하나님께 경배하고, 오직 그분만을 네가 섬길지니라.’ 하였기 때문이라.” 하셨느니라.

8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

9 그러자 그가 그분을 예루살렘으로 데리고 갔으니 그분을 성전의 높이 솟은 부분 위에 세우고 그분께 이같이 말하였더라. “만일 네가 하나님의 아들이면 스스로 여기서 뛰어내리라.

9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:

10 이는 기록되기를, ‘그분께서 자신의 천사들에게 너에 대한 책무를 주시어 너를 지키게 하시리라.

10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:

11 그리하면 그들이 자신들의 손으로 너를 떠받쳐서 어느 때라도 네가 너의 발을 돌에 부딪치는 일이 없게 하시리라.’ 하였기 때문이라.”

11 And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

12 이에 예수님께서 그에게 답하여 말씀하시기를, “이러한 말씀이 주어졌으니, ‘너는 주 너의 하나님을 시험하지 말지니라.’ 하신 것이라.” 하셨느니라.

12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

13 그리하여 마귀가 시험을 모두 끝내자 그가 그분께로부터 한동안 떠났더라.

13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

14 ¶ 그러자 예수님께서 성령의 권능 안에서 갈릴리로 되돌아오셨더라. 그러자 주변의 전 구역에서 그분에 관한 명성이 두루 퍼져 나갔더라.

14 ¶ And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

15 그리고 그분께서 그들의 회당들에서 가르치시며 모두에게서 영광을 받으셨더라.

15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

16 ¶ 이후에 그분께서 자신이 양육된 곳인 나사렛에 오셔서 자신의 관례대로 친히 안식일에 회당으로 들어가셨으며 낭독하기 위하여 서셨더라.

16 ¶ And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

17 그러자 그분께 예언자 이사-야의 책이 전달되었더라. 그리하여 그분께서 그 책을 펴신 후에 이 말씀이 기록된 곳을 그분께서 찾으셨더라.

17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

18 “주의 영이 나에게 임하시니라. 이는 그분께서 가난한 자들에게 복음을 선포하도록 나에게 기름을 부으셨기 때문이라. 그분께서 나를 보내셨으니, 상한 마음이 된 자들을 치유하기 위함이요, 포로가 된 자들에게 구출을 선포하기 위함이요, 눈먼 자들의 시력을 회복하고 상처 입은 자들을 자유롭게 놓아주기 위함이요,

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

19 주께서 기꺼이 받으시는 해를 선포하기 위함이라.”

19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

20 그런 다음에 그분께서 그 책을 덮으셨고, 그분께서 그것을 섬기는 자에게 다시 주고 나서 앉으셨더라. 그러자 회당 안에 있던 모든 자들의 눈이 그분께 고정되었더라.

20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

21 그러자 그분께서 그들에게 말씀하기 시작하시기를, “이 성경 기록이 이날 너희의 귀에 성취되었느니라.” 하셨느니라.

21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

22 그러자 모두 그분을 증거하고 그분의 입에서 나온 은혜로운 말씀들에 경이로워하였더라. 그러면서도 그들이 말하기를, “이 사람은 요셉의 아들이 아니냐?” 하였더라.

22 And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?

23 그러자 그분께서 그들에게 말씀하시기를, “너희는 확실히 나에게 ‘의사야, 너나 고치라.’ 하는 이 잠언을 들어 말하기를, ‘무엇이나 가버나움에서 행해졌다고 우리가 들었던 것을 여기 너의 고향에서도 행하라.’ 할 것이라.” 하셨느니라.

23 And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.

24 이어서 그분께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “진실로 내가 너희에게 말하노니, ‘어떤 예언자도 자기 자신의 고향에서는 환영받지 못하느니라.

24 And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.

25 그러나 내가 너희에게 한 가지 진실을 알려 주노라. 엘리-야의 날들에 삼년 육 개월 동안 하늘이 닫혔을 때, 곧 심한 기근이 그 지역 전체에 걸쳐 있었을 때 많은 과부들이 이스라엘에 있었느니라.

25 But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;

26 그러나 시돈의 한 도시, 곧 사렙타에서 과부로 있었던 여자에게 보내심을 받은 것 외에는 엘리-야가 그들 중 아무에게도 보내심을 받지 아니하였느니라.

26 But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.

27 그리고 예언자 엘리-사의 때에 많은 나병 환자들이 이스라엘에 있었느니라. 그런데 시리아인 나아만 외에는 그들 중 아무도 정결하게 되지 않았느니라.’”

27 And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.

28 그러자 회당 안에 있던 모든 자들이 이것들을 들었을 때 그들은 격노로 가득 차서

28 And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,

29 일어나 그분을 도시 밖으로 내몰았고, 자신들의 도시가 지어진 언덕의 벼랑 끝으로 그분을 끌고 갔으니, 그들이 그분을 거꾸로 내리 던지고자 함이었더라.

29 And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.

30 그러나 그분께서는 그들의 한가운데를 가로질러 자신의 길을 가셨더라.

30 But he passing through the midst of them went his way,

31 그런 다음에 갈릴리의 한 도시인 가버나움으로 내려오셨으며 안식일들에 그들을 가르치셨더라.

31 And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.

32 그러자 그들은 그분의 교리에 깜짝 놀랐으니, 그분의 말씀에 권능이 있었기 때문이라.

32 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.

33 ¶ 그리고 회당에 불결한 마귀의 영이 들린 남자가 있었는데 큰 목소리로 소리를 지르면서

33 ¶ And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,

34 말씀드리기를, “우리를 내버려 두소서. 당신, 나사렛 예수님이여, 우리가 당신과 무슨 상관이 있나이까? 당신께서는 우리를 멸망시키려고 오셨나이까? 나는 당신이 누구신지 아노니, 하나님의 거룩하신 분이시니이다.” 하였더라.

34 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.

35 그러자 예수님께서는 그를 꾸짖으시며 말씀하시기를, “너는 잠잠하고 그에게서 나오라.” 하셨느니라. 그러자 그 마귀가 그를 한가운데 내동댕이친 후에 그가 그에게서 빠져나왔는데 그를 다치게 하지는 아니하였더라.

35 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.

36 그러자 그들이 모두 놀라서 자기들끼리 일러 말하기를, “이것은 어떠한 말씀인가! 이는 그분께서 불결한 영들에게 권위와 권능으로 명령하셨고 그들이 빠져나갔기 때문이라.” 하였더라.

36 And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

37 그리하여 그분에 관한 명성이 주변 지방의 모든 곳마다 퍼져나갔더라.

37 And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about.

38 ¶ 이후에 그분께서 회당으로부터 일어나 나오셔서 시몬의 집 안으로 들어가셨더라. 그런데 시몬의 아내의 어머니가 심한 열병에 걸렸고 그들이 그녀를 위하여 그분께 간청하였더라.

38 ¶ And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.

39 그러자 그분께서 그녀의 머리 위쪽에 서시어 그 열병을 꾸짖으시니 그것이 그녀를 떠나갔더라. 그리하여 즉시 그녀가 일어나서 그들을 섬겼더라.

39 And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.

40 ¶ 이제 해가 저물어 갈 때, 갖가지 질병들을 앓는 어떤 병든 자들이라도 데리고 있던 자들은 모두 그분께 그들을 데려갔더라. 그러자 그분께서 그들 각자에게 자신의 두 손으로 안수하시며 그들을 치유하셨더라.

40 ¶ Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

41 이에 마귀들도 많은 이들에게서 빠져나가며 소리를 지르고 말씀드리기를, “당신은 하나님의 아들이신 그리스도시니이다.” 하였더라. 이에 그분께서 그들을 꾸짖으시면서 그들이 말하는 것을 용납하지 아니하셨더라. 이는 그들이 그분께서 그리스도셨음을 알았기 때문이라.

41 And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.

42 이후에 낮이 되자 그분께서 떠나시어 외딴곳으로 들어가셨더라. 그러자 백성이 그분을 찾았고 그분께 당도하여 그분이 그들을 떠나지 못하시도록 그분을 만류하였더라.

42 And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed him, that he should not depart from them.

43 그러자 그분께서 그들에게 말씀하시기를, “나는 다른 도시들에서도 하나님의 왕국을 선포해야만 하노라. 이는 이러한 이유로 내가 보내심을 받았기 때문이라.” 하셨느니라.

43 And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

44 그러고 나서 그분께서는 갈릴리의 회당들 안에서 선포하셨더라.

44 And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee.
