요한계시록 10장

1 내가 구름으로 옷 입혀진 또 다른 힘센 천사가 하늘로부터 내려오는 것을 보았노라. 그런데 무지개 하나가 그의 머리 위에 있었고 그의 얼굴은 태양 같았으며 그의 두 발은 불기둥들 같았더라.

1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

2 그리고 그가 자기 손에 펼쳐진 작은 책을 가지고 있었더라. 그리고 그가 자신의 오른발은 바다 위에, 자신의 왼발은 땅 위에 두었으며

2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,

3 마치 사자가 포효하듯 큰 목소리로 외쳤더라. 그리고 그가 외쳤을 때 일곱 천둥들이 그것들의 음성들을 발하였더라.

3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

4 그리고 일곱 천둥들이 그것들의 음성들을 발하였을 때 내가 기록하려고 하였는데 하늘로부터 “일곱 천둥들이 발설한 그것들을 완전히 봉인하고 그것들을 기록하지 말라.” 하고 나에게 말하는 음성을 내가 들었도다.

4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

5 그러자 바다 위와 땅 위에 서 있는 것을 내가 보았던 그 천사가 하늘로 자기 손을 들어 올렸고,

5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,

6 하늘과 그 안에 있는 것들과 땅과 그 안에 있는 것들과 바다와 그 안에 있는 것들을 창조하신, 영원무궁토록 살아 계시는 분을 두고 맹세하기를 더 이상 시간이 없으리라고 하였더라.

6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

7 그러나 일곱째 천사의 음성의 날들에 그가 나팔을 울리기 시작할 때 하나님의 신비가 이루어지리니, 그분께서 그분의 종들인 예언자들에게 선언하신 대로니라.

7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

8 그리고 내가 하늘로부터 나에게 다시 이야기하시는 음성을 들었는데 말하기를, “가서 바다 위와 땅 위에 서 있는 그 천사의 손에 펼쳐진 작은 책을 취하라.” 하였더라.

8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.

9 그리하여 내가 그 천사에게 가서 그에게 말하기를, “제게 그 작은 책을 주소서.” 하였더라. 그러자 그가 내게 말하기를, “그것을 취하고 그것을 먹어 치우라. 그리하면 그것은 너의 배를 쓰라리게 만들 것이나 그것이 너의 입안에서는 꿀처럼 달리라.” 하였더라.

9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.

10 그리하여 내가 그 천사의 손에서 그 작은 책을 취하여 그것을 다 먹어버렸도다. 그러자 그것이 내 입안에서 꿀처럼 달았으나 내가 그것을 먹자마자 내 배는 쓰라렸더라.

10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.

11 그러자 그가 내게 말하기를, “너는 반드시 많은 백성들과 민족들과 어족들과 왕들 앞에서 다시 예언하여야만 하느니라.” 하였더라.

11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
