요한계시록 11장

1 그리고 나에게 막대기 같은 갈대 하나가 주어졌더라. 그리고 그 천사가 서서 이같이 말하였더라. “일어나서 하나님의 성전과 제단과 그 안에서 경배하는 자들을 측량하라.

1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

2 그러나 성전 바깥에 있는 뜰은 제외하고 그것을 측량하지 말라. 이는 그것이 이방인들에게 주어지며 그들이 거룩한 도성을 사십이 개월 동안 발아래 짓밟을 것이기 때문이라.

2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

3 그런즉 내가 나의 두 증인에게 권능을 주겠노라. 그리하면 그들이 굵은 베로 옷 입혀진 채 일천이백육십 일 동안 예언하리라.

3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

4 이들은 두 올리브나무요, 땅의 하나님 앞에 서 있는 두 등잔대니라.

4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

5 그리고 누구라도 그들을 다치게 하려 한다면 그들의 입에서 불이 뿜어져 나와서 그들의 원수들을 집어삼키리라. 그런즉 누구든 그들을 다치게 하려 한다면 그는 반드시 이런 방식으로 죽임을 당하리라.

5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

6 이들은 자신들이 예언하는 날들에 비가 오지 않도록 하늘을 닫는 권능을 갖고 있느니라. 그리고 물들에 대한 권능도 있어서 그것들을 피로 변하게 하고 그들이 원할 때마다 모든 재앙들로 땅을 치느니라.

6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

7 그리고 그들이 그들의 증언을 끝마칠 때면 끝없는 구렁에서 올라오는 짐승이 그들을 대적하여 전쟁을 일으킬 것이요, 그들을 이기고 그들을 죽이리라.

7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

8 그리하면 그들의 죽은 몸들이 거대한 도성의 거리에 놓이리니, 그곳은 영적으로 소돔과 이집트로 불리는 곳이요, 또한 우리 주께서 십자가에 못 박히신 곳이라.

8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

9 그리고 백성과 종족들과 어족들과 민족들에 속한 자들이 그들의 죽은 몸을 삼 일 반 동안 보리니, 그들의 죽은 몸이 무덤들 안에 묻히는 것을 용납하지 아니하리라.

9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

10 그리고 땅 위에 거하는 자들이 그들에 대하여 크게 기뻐하고 즐거워할 것이요, 서로에게 선물들을 보내리라. 이는 이 두 예언자가 지상에서 거하는 자들에게 심한 고통을 준 까닭이라.”

10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

11 그리고 삼 일 반 뒤에 하나님께로부터 온 생명의 영께서 그들 안으로 들어가셨으니, 그들이 자신들의 두 발로 섰더라. 그러자 커다란 두려움이 그들을 보았던 자들 위에 임하였더라.

11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

12 그러자 하늘로부터 그들에게 말씀하시는 커다란 음성을 그들이 들었는데, “이리 올라오라.” 하였더라. 그러자 그들이 구름 속에서 하늘로 올라갔으며 그들의 원수들이 그들을 보았더라.

12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

13 그리고 같은 시각에 커다란 지진 하나가 있었는데 도성의 십분의 일이 무너졌고 그 지진 가운데 칠천 명의 사람들이 살해되었더라. 그러자 남은 자들이 겁에 질려 하늘의 하나님께 영광을 돌렸더라.

13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

14 둘째 화가 지나갔으니, 보라, 셋째 화가 속히 오는도다.

14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

15 그리고 일곱째 천사가 나팔을 울렸더니, 하늘에서 커다란 음성들이 있어 말하기를, “이 세상의 왕국들이 우리 주의 왕국들과 그분의 그리스도의 왕국들이 되는도다. 그리하여 그분께서 영원무궁토록 통치하시리라.” 하였더라.

15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

16 그리고 하나님 앞에서 그들의 자리들 위에 앉아 있던 스물네 장로가 그들의 얼굴을 대고 엎드려 하나님께 경배하며

16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,

17 이같이 말씀드렸더라. “우리가 당신께 감사들을 드리나이다. 오, 전능하신 주 하나님, 곧 현재에도 계시고 과거에도 계셨고 미래에도 오실 분이여, 이는 당신께서 당신의 위대한 권능을 당신께로 취하시어 통치하셨기 때문이니이다.

17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

18 그리고 민족들이 분노하였고, 당신의 진노가 임하였으며, 죽은 자들의 때가 왔으니, 그들이 심판받게 하려 하심이요, 당신께서 당신의 종들인 예언자들에게와, 성도들에게와, 당신의 이름을 두려워하는 작은 자들과 큰 자들에게 보상을 주려 하심이요, 땅을 멸하는 자들을 멸하려 하심이니이다.”

18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

19 그러자 하나님의 성전이 하늘에서 열렸고 그분의 성전 안에서 그분의 유언 언약의 궤가 보였더라. 그리고 번개들과 음성들과 천둥들과 한 지진과 거대한 우박이 있었더라.

19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
