욥기 25장
1 그때 슈아족 빌닷이 대답하여 이같이 말하였더라.
1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
2 “통치권과 두려움이 그분께 있도다. 그분께서 자신의 높은 곳들에서 화평을 조성하시는도다.
2 Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.
3 그분의 군사들에게 무슨 수효가 있느냐? 또 그분의 빛이 자신의 위로 떠오르지 아니하는 자가 있느냐?
3 Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?
4 그렇다면 어떻게 사람이 하나님과 함께 정당함을 입증받을 수 있겠느냐? 혹은 어떻게 여자에게서 태어난 자가 깨끗할 수 있겠느냐?
4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
5 심지어 달을 보라, 그것은 빛나지 아니하느니라. 진정 별들도 그분의 목전에 순수하지 아니하도다.
5 Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.
6 하물며 벌레인 사람은 얼마나 덜하랴? 그리고 벌레인 사람의 아들은 또 얼마나 덜하랴?”
6 How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?
